I am going through older shoots and found several "reject" files that I decided are not rejects. Now the problem: you can reject a file, but you cannot remove the "reject" label. "No label" does not work, you cannot apply a star to it. I researched online before posting here. This is silly. For ten years you have not been able to remove a "reject" label - and still no solution? Some people even bought an exif tool to clean out the reject label. Silly to the power of 2. So is there a way to remove the silly reject label?

I'm using 20.0.4 For Bridge automation I use Photoshop 19 as I'm using Bridge 8 (Bridge 9 is blurry previews and cannot currently do the classic Bridge interface)

Today Photoshop caused a major crash on my MacBook Pro retina 2012 running High Sierra. Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB VRAM (not on the supported list, but also not on the list "no longer supported" motherboard integrated graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB VRAM (no longer officially supported by Photoshop) Suddenly the screen went black and I had to put in my password again. When it lit up again, I got the message that Photoshop has disabled my GPU. As you cannot run Photoshop well without a GPU, how do I turn it on again? My computer is only six years old - I find it crude that Adobe is so flaky supporting hardware - especially Apple, where you don't have to support countless versions, but only the few that Apple puts out. What's your take on this and how can I go on running Photoshop?

Yes, the jpeg was created to a specific output format I wanted the pdf to have. My plan was to create a single page pdf of about 1800 x 1200 pixels - which could be adapted better if viewed on a small screen than just sending jpeg. Then this 1800 x 1200 pixel jpeg would be opened, "save as Photoshop pdf" - no size choices offered from the menu, so I'd assume the pdf would be the same 1800 x 1200 size. But no, it comes out about 450 pixels at the long edge.

That's what I did. You end up in the same pdf presentation module, and the resulting pdf is an unusable tiny thingy.

Thank you, Mike. There are no presets in this folder except the new set I created today. So it's gone. Gives me the opportunity to weed out some shortcuts for tools I don't use (like the pen tool, or auto color, auto tone) and apply them to things I regularly use like "apply image" "content aware fill" Maybe I should just back up those preset files on their own. I have a full OS backup, and could find the application support/adobe/photoshop cc2019 file, but therer were different files in there like "pdf" and no preset files. Apple has two different library files, so maybe I was in the wrong one...

My shortcut set had totally disappeared, and I removed the new "color"set. I had already been working for two weeks with that specific tutorial - the downloaded workspace was a generic photoshop workspace file. Where are keyboard shortcut sets actually stored? Maybe my old set was just "disconnected" and is still there... ?

Because you cannot use the pdf module in Bridge at this time due to a bug that distorts the color, I tried to use the Photoshop PDF presentation tool. I can't get it to work. I input a file 1376 x 1729 (jpeg) and what I get is a tiny 330x415 pixel pdf at twice the file size of the original file. I cannot see a control where to adjust the output file size. Why does Photoshop output a file that is unusably small? Why are there no controls about output size? Why are both pdf modules in Photoshop and Bridge not working? Photoshop 20.0.1 on os x high sierra

Nobody else is using my computer. I have both Photoshop 20 and Photoshop 19 on my computer. Photoshop 20 I use for editing. For image processing through Bridge 8 I have to use Photoshop 19 (it doesn't work with Photoshop 20 - and I don't use Bridge 9 as it's not usable due to blurred previews and an unmanageable interface that I cannot adjust as I can adjust Bridge 8) So far I have not encountered any problems. strange thing: instead of the shortcut collection with my first name (which disappeared) there was a shortcut collection with the name "Color". I recently created a workspace "color" whose file I imported from an RGG-EDU tutorial. But that was 2 or more weeks ago, and no disturbance of my shortcuts has happened since - until yesterday. At 3 PM I had all my shortcuts, at 8PM they were all gone.

I don't know where to find the settings file for keyboard shortcuts, so I set up a new custom set. At least it will give me the option to free some single key shortcuts like "p" as I never use the pen tool, for example.

I tried the "create pdf presentation" What it does is that it shrinks my 2000 pixel high document to 480 pixels without me having given it any command to do so. It seems to be impossible to create a pdf with the original size of the document. Also, the file size is huge. 2,8 mb was the smallest for stamp sized 480 pixel high pdf.

This afternoon I still had all my shortcuts. This evening, they were all gone. The set of shortcuts is gone from the Shortcuts menu, and a set that I never created is there. What has happened? Is there any way to reconnect to the set of shortcuts? May the file still be there? For now I don't even have a shortcut to flatten a file. I'm on a Mac, High Sierra, and it's Photoshop 20.

Are you on PC, Lumigraphics? I'm on a Mac, and the pdf module can't produce a single usable pdf. Why is nothing happening? Bridge 9 is basically unusable. No control over the interface compared to Bridge 8, blurry previews, and a dysfunctional pdf output module. Deleting Bridge 9. Bridge 8 at least works except you can't create pdfs.

The pdf export modules of both Bridge 8 and Bridge 9 are broken and unusable as they cannot read a color tag. I have tried repeatedly - both applications cannot read color tags and it looks like it's seen in a Firefox browser. All skin tones destroyed. I have searched online - the problem exists since September 2018. Has there been a solution to this problem in the six months since it was discovered? Is there a way to make the pdf module to do the most basic thing in the image world (and without which its all pointless): to read a color tag? I can't believe that after 25 years adobe brings out a module that can't read a color tag. I can't send this junk pdf to a client, nor to my own rep.

Thank you, D Fosse - that was the key information! I could get it cleared up very quickly and the image no longer slips underneath the panels. This handling instructions should be in the Adobe manual.

I wanted to move a panel, and the whole workspace came apart. How all panels float. They attach to each other but not to the top. There is an "x" on the top bar of the top panel. The image does not stop at the panels, but disappears beneath them. It's a mess. The panels don't snap. Always the problem with workspaces, once they fall apart you can't fix them. Or is there a way to snap them to the top and prevent the image to slide underneath the panels? I checked the Adobe instructions, but they are worthless - there is no solution to make the image stop where the panels begin, and no solution to attach the panels to the top of the frame. Can this be fixed? Nothing works.

How about rotation? That's where it's most difficult to get the exact amount of what you want to do in Photoshop... that ratchet effect where you can only rotate in steps.

Thanks! What I find out that letting go of the pen (I work with a wacom) sometimes gives the image another drift - away from the ideal position. Is there a trick to avoid creating a move in the image just by letting go at the desired position?

I come across this regularly: I am cropping an image, and the crop tool doesn't adjust smoothly, but it snaps to increments. It's like teeth on a ratchet, but my ideal crop would be in-between two of those settings. Is there a way to turn off snapping to increments and have purely smooth crop tool - like you can turn off snapping with guides and adjust them to any position you want? The same problem is with rotation: it also snaps to increments. You don't always have straight lines to use the "straighten" tool or have an image composition that demands to do it by feeling. PS: Pressing the option or the Control key on the Mac doesn't turn off snapping.

I just started to use the mixer brush, which I later want to use in photo retouching. First I got some paint. But then paint stopped. I have wet 30% load 100% flow 100% and there I have a current brush load set, and I have set "reload brush after each stroke" Still, no paint is flowing. All I can do is smear around the paint I already have on the canvas. I checked the web, but I seem to be the only one word wide who has somehow activated the "no paint for you" button What am I missing? Which setting is wrong? Why is there no paint? thanks!

Yes, the file is still psb after flattening. I thought 46 000 pixels wide would be too large for a TIFF or PSD.

No, each layer was a jpg photograph (not a Tiff), and the whole document was psb file.

I have a PSB file 46 000 x 25 000 pixels at 2.17 GB with fifty layers. After flattening the file size increases to 3,49 GB. With regular sized images I work with TIFF, and file size after flattening is always about 20% or less of the layered file. Why has the file size almost doubled in PSB through flattening? PS: the layers consisted of JPG files.

Avinash, The only real solution would be to allow the photographers to decide on the layout of Bridge. Bridge 2018 was a good layout and could be very well customized. The layout of Bridge 2019 is ugly, cramped, distracts from the work, and the color themes are a joke compared to what you can do in Bridge 2018. Suggestion: Why force people to an ugly look? Let them choose. It can't be so difficult to include the classic Bridge theme with its clean design and much better customizability in color backgrounds. If someone wants his Bridge to look like Lightroom, they can have it. Just don't force it on us. PS: Currently the code of Bridge 2019 is so faulty you can't use it. Have you seen those blurry previews? PLEASE DON'T PUSH TO MANY UPGRADES. Fewer upgrades, but better checked out. It's been a few times that new Bridge editions had blurry previews at the beginning (just google it). This is why I don't like these constant upgrades. Photoshop/Bridge is my work tool, and I don't need bells ringing and whistles blowing to be satisfied. I'm satisfied if it just works.
