Hi @Knut Uwe Maria Junker! There are a couple of ways to update Substance 3D Stager within the Creative Cloud app if the update is not listing. First log out and then log back in to Creative Cloud. Then try: Method one: Open the Creative Cloud desktop app Go to updates At the top right hand corner of the update page click > check for updates The newest Substance 3D Stager (1.3.2) should be listed Click on the update button to install the latest verison of Stager Method two: Open the Creative Cloud desktop app Go to all apps Scroll to Substance 3D Stager Click on the three dots next to the open button Select other versions Install Substance 3D Stager (1.3.2)

Hi @hjl67936945! HDR and HDRI can be loaded into Stager as an environment background. There are a couple of ways to add them to your Stager scene: Method one Drag and drop the HDR or HDRI into the viewport. Select environment in the scene panel. Click on the background tab in the properties panel. Set environment background opacity to 100% and Environment background blur to 0%. Method two Select environment in the scene panel. Click on lights tab in the properties panel. Drag and drop the HDR or HDRI onto the image thumbnail. Click on the background tab in the properties panel. Set environment background opacity to 100% and Environment background blur to 0%. Once imported in, you can change the intensity and rotation of the image under environment lights section in the lights properties panel

Hi @Giuseppe272738705as7! This is a known bug and the engineers are currently investigating. It might take some time for them to figure out what had happened. A workaround solution is to make sure the ground plane is enabled when rendering. We are not able to diagnose working files directly on the forum website. Can you email the Stager log file from the scene you're trying to render to Substance3d-bugs@adobe.com. If the file is under 20 MB you can attach it directly to the email. Hi @perfect_Euphoria6C14! When importing an object into Stager, UVs are generated by default. This can be changed from the menu bar: On Mac: Adobe Substance Stager > preferences > generate UVs for models without UVs On Windows: edit > preferences > generate UVs for models without UVs After clicking on the dropdown menu, there are three options: always ask always skip generating UVs always generate UVs

Hi @Animation Guy! It sounds like the materials are linked together. After duplicating an object, go to the properties material panel and click on the symbol that looks like a chain being broken. This will unlink the shared material.

Hi @Hannah The Creator! With the object selected, enable displacement under properties > object. Then go to properties > material > height. There are two slider settings within this section: height scale and height level. Moving the height scale slider closer to 0 range will decrease the displacement intensity.

Hi @mohit26822341g7xz! Stager is a high performance program and older computers are not as powerful. There are a few ways to help improve you Stager experience: Make sure Stager is the only app running on the computer Limit the number of objects within the scene when using more complex materials Keep lighting simple. Complex lighting creates more light bounces within the scene Keep render output sizes small Remove all unassigned materials from the scene by clicking on the trash can icon in the project materials panel https://substance3d.adobe.com/documentation/sg/system-requirements-213060284.html

Hi @ericrwebb! Stager has some environment lights that simulate various studio lighting scenarios such as 3 point lighting and front key rear panels. There are also some other fun light environments such as canopus ground and wood studios windows that add in colored lights and realistic reflections. Hi @Laas Tietje! This is a known bug and the engineers are currently investigating it. However, there is a work around solution! First enable the ground plane under the environment > properties > ground (Shadow opacity can be changed or set to 0 if not needed) Then render the scene as normal The exported Photoshop document should have its proper masking layers.

Hi @LaCla3D! This is an easy fix! Make sure the object with the fabric texture is selected, go to the properties panel, click on the object tab, and then toggle on displacement. Once enabled, go to the materials tab and under the height section you are able to adjust the intensity of the displacement with height scale and height level.

Hi @Niclas5C4A! At this moment in time, decals are unable to work in that way within Stager. However, there is a workaround solution: Add a plane With the plane selected, go to the properties material panel Drag and drop the image you want to glow into the base color Then drag and drop the same image into the emissions color Increase emissions intensity to desired brightness Enable ray tracing (There might be some image clippling/distortion doing this method. Creating UVs and making sure the image is the same size as the plane will help prevent distortion)
