This is step 1 of a much more complex process I'd like to achieve using javascript - unfortunately with no javascript skills whatsoever!   What I have at the moment is a javascript plugin (abacadabra tools) which will give me the word count for an individual page (whichever page my cyrsor is on) in a message box... it's a start!   I'd like to get a cumulative word count for each page of a document and be able to create text output at the bottom of each page with that number in  it...    Can anyone advise if this is at least theoretically possible? ... Hey all... I work on longer audio files regularly, e.g. 30 - 50 minutes. I find that the longer a file is (and I also work with markers, so the file is marked with maybe 2000 or so markers too), the more Audition lags in scrolling the playhead and also deleting sections of audio. I have v.12 installed (2019) on Win 10 pro on an i5 quadcore (3rd gen) with 16 gigs ram and 10 of those dedicated to audition. I don't have any excessive background processes runing either. Without the markers, it's a bit improved, but still pretty laggy on longer files. As a work-around, i tend to chop the files down into 10 to 15 minute sections for editing. playback, effects plugins and processing are all fine on longer files, but it's just the tasks that seem to involve navigating around the file (except skipping from one marker to another, that's fine) or anything that causes the file to have to be readjusted in terms of postion of data.   Any ideas what might be causing this, whether there are any fixes, or whether that's just how it is? ... Hi, I'm currently updating Adobe After Effects through the CC app.   Currently it is "installing media encoder" and "updating after effects"...   I'm just wondering where the installers are stored on my local system? I have the offline installer for After Effects CC2019... If I wanted to migrate to a new system, would it be possible to use the old installer, then use the update installer (if I can find it) to install an up-to-date version without having to download it all again? ... This may seem simple but... how do I draw an 45 degree angled line on a shape layer? I can draw a rectangle with the rectangle tool ok. The roto brush tool does do anything except draw a momentary grey rectangle, same with the brush tool. There doesn't seem to be a dedicated "line" or pen tool. ... View more
