The chart (and all the narrative above and below) illustrates how complex the larger scenario is. A nifty way to see this, is to use the Export Frame feature in the P Pro Program Monitor. Use it on an NTSC SD clip (in an SD sequence) and on an NTSC Widescreen clip (in a widescreen sequence). In both cases the resulting image will be 720x480 square pixels. As Jim says, moot, but I was curious about Encore. If you transcode prior to Encore what happens when you build? Have you tried setting preferences so you transcode through AME rather than Encore? A few PGC errors have been reported in CS5 (and CS4), but a) they generally have a bit different syntax (they add info) and b) they are "real" errors - meaning they point to a specific problem, such as the blank space here.  The persistent PGC errors in CS3 never had solutions (or identified causes) but had a variety of workarounds.  As illustrated by this thread, there were actually differnt PGC variants - timelines, slideshows, and motion menus. ... But has Satish (the original frameserver coder) said that he will maintain the project, even if someone took over the heavy lifting? As far as I recall, he gave up on creating a 64-bit version of DMFS because of the lack of time, interest (his own--not ours!) and resources. My concern would be that, while we now have what appears to be a fully-functioning frameserver, if we do find a bug or want additional features, there is no one to address that without hiring a developer again. So who would be providing support for the frameserver? What is the incentive to the programmer who has been hired to fix bugs? See post 5.  That does not fully answer the question, other than Satish appears to be willing to add to the main project.  That implies a level of support, but I don't think Satish could answer that question until he sees the code.  I assume that he would not add it until it was a ready for release.  Probably a good time for someone to ask him. ... It's a standard export option. Couldn't resist; did a quick test in CS4.  The option appears as an "Expand Stills" button in DV AVI export.  The default, however, appears to be not to expand. "Expand Stills" checked: file size (a 58 second bit in a NTSC DV sequence with the still and 48kHz audio) is 11 Meg.  Not checked (i.e. Optimize Stills): 215 Meg. ... View more

I assume you still have a problem somewhere.  I am not certain, but I think the warning will disappear when the problem does.  If you are absolutely certain that you have no chapters off, I don't know what is at issue in a "trim" being adjusted. You can, of course, ignore the warning and see what you end up with.  In some cases, a chapter being moved slightly will not matter.  I would try tracking this down, and not just leave it, however. ... FLV is a supported filetype, but it is a container, and relies on codecs installed on your machine. Since CS4 is working, the flv codec in this file must be one of those that premiere is looking for a particular location for the codec.
