@adamf87469133 - It looks like you were able to access the Archive page at https://assets.adobe.com/files?filter=archive to Permanently Delete the items. Currently you are using 2.59 GB of 100 GB.

What type of file are you uploading to the CC Assets site at https://assets.adobe.com? The image you see at the CC Assets site is a preview image. After you use Send Link to share a public url then your colleague can download the original file and view it using the correct Adobe desktop application on their computer.

@eczekner - Just looked at your account metadata and you have 3 folders at the top level in the Archive. Your current storage total is 13.29 GB of 100 GB. To understand why your files are not syncing the Core Sync team will need to look at the log files. Use the Adobe Log Collector Tool at https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html and directly email the logs plus explanation of your problem to `SyncForum-Communication@adobe.com`. Include the url of this forum post in your email.

The cause of the problem has been fixed but the result was that your files were stored but the metadata was incorrect and so the web application and the file syncing application could not show your files.

@piixy - There was a metadata problem with a few files you previously uploaded and so they were not showing under Files or the Archive. We have restored the files to a folder named "Recovered 2015-12-07 23-55-19 UTC". You can Archive and then Permanently Delete the files you do not need.

For the files the easiest way would be to use the file syncing. Sign in with the old account and download the files to the Creative Cloud Files folder. Then make a copy of these files. Now sign in with the new account and put the files into the new Creative Cloud Files folder. Your files will sync with the new account. For Libraries you can go to https://assets.adobe.com/assets/libraries and select Send Link for each Library you want to transfer. Then go to the public link for that library and select Save to Creative Cloud. A copy of that library will now be in your new account.

@kpolsie - There is not a direct way to transfer ownership, but there is a workaround. The limitation of this workaround is that any comments on files will not transfer, just the files. You can open the Collaborate dialog and click Remove all users. This will end the folder sharing. Then do Send Link and send the public url of the folder to someone in the company. The person in the company can open the public url and click Save to Creative Cloud. That person will now be the owner of their own copy of the folder. This person can then create a new Collaboration. You can then Archive and Permanently Delete your copy of the folder.

@Cvo1 - I did not intend my earlier reply to be a solution, merely a clarification on how things work. If files are being regularly deleted for no apparent reason then please send us the Core Sync log files and we can investigate what is happening. Use the Log Collector Tool and email me the logs at kenrice@adobe.com. Also not sure if you are using the Collaboration feature. If you are the non-owner of a folder and someone accidentally removes you from a folder collaboration then that folder will go into the Trash / Recycle Bin.

Thank you for the feedback on both the wording around Allow Download and the feature request to restrict right-click for image download. I will see that it the CC Assets team sees your feedback and request. My initial comment was intended to mean that taking a screen shot is just as easy as a right-click, and there is no way to restrict this from a browser.

Unchecking Allow Downloads means someone cannot download the original file whether it is a jpg file or a Photoshop psd file. We do not explicitly disable right-click downloading of the lower quality preview image. Disallowing right-click downloading does not really prevent getting the image. You can use any browsers developer tools to just find the direct image url, or even just take a screenshot.

I just tried this with Dropbox on Mac OS X and folder-wise we both do the same thing. With Dropbox you unlink the account, with Creative Cloud file sync you sign out. Dropbox creates a folder called Dropbox (Old) unless you choose a different name. We rename the folder to something like KENRICE@ADOBE.COM Creative Cloud Files. Both have all the sync folders under your user folder by default. Please choose the tools that accommodate your needs.

You can have more than one Adobe ID. The owner or collaboration non-owner participant of a file / folder is tied to a single Adobe ID. You can only do file syncing with a single Adobe ID at one time, but you can switch between Adobe IDs. The location of the Creative Cloud Files folder is singular. When you switch accounts the non-active one will be labelled by the file syncing with the Adobe ID. So the one that just says Creative Cloud Files is the active one. You can try things out with two free / trial accounts to see how the file sync account switching works. Also feel free to send me a folder collaboration invite to kenrice@adobe.com. I can then send you a collaboration invite. That will let you see how the system works.

All files have an owner, the person who uploaded the files. There are two ways to share files: Collaboration and Send Link. Collaboration is folder based. Everyone who has accepted the Invite has both read and write access to the folder. The owner of the folder can Archive the folder which will stop the Collaboration for everyone, while the non-owners can individually choose Leave Folder. Also from the Collaborate dialog you can choose Remove Access for any individual. This provides a public url that gives someone read-only access. By default Download is enabled which means someone can download a file or choose "Copy to Creative Cloud" which gives them their own copy of the file at https://assets.adobe.com. A person with a free / trial Adobe ID has 2 GB of file storage. Team gives you 100 GB of file storage. With a Team account you can move paid Seats from one person to another as they come / leave the company. So if a paid Seat is removed then the person reverts to 2 GB of file storage. If they are over the 2 GB quota they will not be able to use the file storage until the reduce the stored amount below 2 GB. Enterprise accounts work differently based on the options you choose. @georgeb25810695 - If you move or delete files / folders from the Creative Cloud Files folder they go into the Archive. The Archive is only in the cloud, not on your local computer. From a browser go the Archive at https://assets.adobe.com/files?filter=archive where you can choose to either Restore or Permanently Delete files / folders. @Freddie_NYC - We finished the back-end check and there is no file activity for CC Assets in the last 60 days. You do have PDF files stored in the Document Cloud at https://cloud.acrobat.com/. I checked the old email address you provided and there is no Adobe ID associated with it.

@Freddie_NYC - I have a request open to see if a file can be recovered. We never explicitly delete any files. If a file is deleted or moved out of the Creative Cloud Files folder it goes into the Archive at https://assets.adobe.com/files?filter=archive from where it can be Restored or Permanently Deleted. I was not familiar with the Celtx software but it appears that the desktop application saves to their cloud at https://www.celtx.com/. Have you checked if your file was saved to the Celtx cloud before your computer stopped working?
