Hi, This issue has already been addressed and you may not be using the latest version of Animate. Could you please check the version of Animate you are running? If it is not 16.5.1.104, then please update it using the Creative Cloud desktop application. Thanks! Mohan

Hi - This is an issue when the app is downloaded using browser on Mac 10.12 or higher due to the Gatekeeper changes that are part of Mac 10.12. This error will not happen if you sign the app and distribute it. macOS Sierra - Wikipedia Thanks! Mohan

Hi, This issue has already been fixed internally and the fix will be available in the upcoming release. Mean while, can you please try out one of the following workarounds and see if that helps? - Go to the Component Definition settings window and select the "display in Components panel" option [OR] - Drag any movieclip, and swap it with your custom component [OR] - Create a movieclip with the component inside, drag it to stage, then break apart, and use the component Thanks! Hi All, Just want to let you know that this issue has been addressed in the update that we have released today. Please update your copy of Animate CC to the latest using the Creative Cloud desktop application. If you don't see an update yet then you can click on the gear icon in Creative Cloud desktop application and choose 'Check for App Updates' option. This update also features an option where you can specify a custom Timestamp URL to avoid such issues in the future. Hi All, The fix for this issue has been rolled out in the update that we have released today. Please update your copy of Animate CC to the latest (16.5.0.100) using the Creative Cloud desktop application. If you don't see an update yet then you can click on the gear icon in Creative Cloud desktop application and choose 'Check for App Updates' option. This update also features Custom Easing, Ease Presets support for Shape and Classic Tween, Texture Atlas Export and much more. Thanks for the response. Could you please help us with the following to repro this issue? 1. Have you installed Animate CC 2017 with default settings? i.e., with Import previous settings and preferences as mentioned at Update apps to Adobe Creative Cloud 2017 ? 2. What version of Animate CC you had prior to CC 2017? 3. Can you please share the Preferences folder for us to look into? you can copy the 2017 folder mentioned in my previous post and share it via any file sharing utility like drop box. Thanks! Mohan

Hi, In case if you want to use Animate CC 2017 with the old 1024 RSA certificate then you can do the following Prerequisite: Install Animate CC 2015.2 so that you have the older version of Java installed at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Animate CC 2015.2\jre Steps: 1. Quit any version of Animate if it is running 2. Copy C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Animate CC 2015.2\jre 3. Rename C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Animate CC 2017\jre folder to say C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Animate CC 2017\orig_jre 4. Paste the jre folder that you have copied in step 2 5. Launch Animate CC 2017 and publish your android app using the older 1024 RSA certifcate Please note that this is just a brute-force method and not a certified/recommended workflow. Thanks! Mohan

Hi, Thanks for sharing the file. We looked into it and the issue is due to the same reason explained in my earlier reply i.e., CreateJS lifetime management doesn't re-instantiate the object instead it uses the one already instantiated if they belongs to same layer. We are checking with CreateJS team on this. Thanks!
