Illustrator does not remember scripts in actions on restarts. It has been this way for at least 4 versions. You will have to remake the action on each restart.

If you copied this from the post, then you will have a problem. There need to be two spaces after the m in "Nm ". You are working with a naming convention where spaces count. Also, I not sure that there isn't a problem with the use of single and double quotes around Nm.

You can't. You would need to create a new document with the desired color mode and copy/paste the objects from the original file.

Look at Transform in the AppleScripting Reference, page 263. In the Java Reference, there is no mention of a transform matrix except with reference to pattern colors. Edit: I'm wrong about the Java script. Look at matrix in the JS Reference. You can do multiple transforms at once.

That's not the way it works on my new MacPro/OSx.5.4/PSCS3. If I "Save As" a file, when I select a different file type it changes the extension in the file dropdown. When scripted this might not apply.

From my reading of the Script references there is no way to access the menu item Rasterize. It is one of the many parts of AI that is not available from a script.

I don't understand what you mean by "image text". Is it text that has been outlined? If it is you will have to make it a selection and then rasterize the selection.

What exactly do you mean by "curved text"? The only option in Acrobat involves using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to change text as an image back to editable text but it would have to be copied from Acrobat and reintroduced into AI.

X, Those would be the days of the "Lost" archives when Adobe tried to change to a new forum style and was forced by a user revolt to return to the old style. In the list on a regular web access is a folder called "PhotoshopThe Missing Archives". This probably contains the stuff you are missing.
