Hi Rocco, What a lovely idea! I'd be happy to see how it works. I just experiment with some image processing algorithms. Make them work on my images as they were Photoshop Plug In's. I hope Tom will update the MATLAB toolbox to support CC 2018.

Hello, Photoshop allows plug in to request data in Planar (Each color layer on its own) or Interleaved (RGB, RGB RGB Pixels) format. I was wondering, what's Photoshop's internal format? Namely, let's say I request the whole image, which will take less time to get, the interleaved or planar data (Namely which doesn't require Photoshop to do any operations besisdes giving access to data)? @DovIssac, This is exactly what I wrote above. Since it is a PDF standard there is no point in the link AnandSri referred me to as none of Adobe products has anything to do with the standard. AnadSri, Thank you for your forum efforts. But it seems you need to better read what people talking about then just automatically refer them to non relevant link. The question is, how can users express their needs to the committee of the PDF standard.

It is like you're automated response. Are you reading what I write? There is a list there to chose but you can't choose "PDF Standard" in the list, right? Since the PDF standard doesn't support APNG I need to apply a request to the people who set the standard not developers of Adobe Product.

Hello, Does the PDF Format (According to its standards) support embedding APNG (Animated PNG) in a PDF document? Namely if I create a PDF file with APNG in it, can I expect teh animation will be shown in PDF viewer? Thank You.

Being able to change those setting requires Administrator privileges so there is no point. If no one knows any other method I just ask Adobe to add LUT folder under: C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2017\Presets There is a folder for Actions, there should be one for LUT's as well.

@Terri_Stevens, This is really simple. I have LUT Files I want to install in a way they will be available on the list of LUT's. Yet the only path which works is the one under Program Files which requires Administrator Rights. I was wondering if there is a different location. There is no dedicated LUT folder under the Roaming folder.

I wish Adobe would let customize the installation process. We don't need all this bloatware coming with the CC Installation. I for one want Photoshop only, nothing with it. The amount of processes the Adobe CC Installer adds is amazing.

D Fosse​, All math is in Bruce Lindbloom site. Again, the exact matrices going from RGB (D65) -> XYZ (D50) -> LAB are written. I also used Bradford adaptation since this what Photoshop is using. My code also is perfectly aligned with his calculator (Which is reference in the Internet). What I need is someone to confirm what's going on in Photoshop.

D Fosse​, I'm not over complicating this. There is a math to do so and I follow it. Of course all is known standard. Within the standard there are a lot parameters (Degrees of Freedom) to be chosen. I wonder what are the parameters chosen by Photoshop. There is Linear Mapping form RGB -> XYZ, There a White Point compensation and the then Non Linear Mapping form XYZ to LAB. What you write is true in general and I know it. What I need is what steps are taken in Photoshop. What I do is sRGB -> XYZ (D65) -> XYZ (D50) -> LAB. I wonder if that what Photoshop does or something else. Thank You.

Hi, I did, it was sRGB. Let me describe my process. Since the input is sRGB and Photoshop's LAB is D50 we first need to convert from sRGB to XYZ at D50. This can be done using the Matrix in this page (The very last matrix sRGB -> XYZ D50): M = [0.4360747 0.3850649 0.1430804 0.2225045 0.7168786 0.0606169 0.0139322 0.0971045 0.7141733] Now we have XYZ with D50 White Point all needed is to convert to XYZ using this: Welcome to Bruce Lindbloom's Web Site If you can shed light what Photoshop does, I'd be more than happy to learn. I also used MATLAB's built in functions and they also differ from Photoshop. If you can shed light what Photoshop does, I'd be more than happy to learn. Thank You.
