The reason your images look OK in Preview is that Preview is looking at the JPG that is embedded in the raw, which is apparently OK. The raw data in the image file is corrupt as evidenced by both LR and PS showing corrupt data.

I just did that successfully, exporting a LR CL catalog created on my Macbook Pro and importing it into LR CL on my main PC. Are you using the latest version of LR CL on both laptop and desktop?

Windows update is frequently way behind on video drivers. Go the video card manufacturers web site for the most recent drivers. It's possible you may have to try several of the latest drivers. Also, your version # for PS CC is strange. The actual version of the latest PS CC is 19.0. Can you check that?

I like to use the latest version for a few weeks to be sure I'm not running into any issues, then move the old version to the trash. Then empty the trash.

Once the image is open in PS, in the menu bar, go to Filters -> Camera Raw. In camera raw, move the "shadows" and or "blacks" sliders to suit your taste. Then, click OK in the lower right hand corner of the Camera Raw filter.

That message does not say you have a corrupt catalog, it says the destination folder does not have the correct permissions or available space. Check those items. Sometimes an operating system update/upgrade will change permissions or your target drive may be almost full.

That happened to me this morning while editing a wedding of 950 photos. Win 10 creators, LR CL. I closed LR CL then reloaded LR CL and it works ok. With both single and two monitors.

Lightroom CC for your iPad should work fine for displaying your synchronized collections in LR CC 2015. Give it a try. LR CC for devices is a much improved LR mobile. On a separate note, I would be concerned why LR CL thought your catalog is corrupt. I would run some serious diagnostics on the drive that is holding your catalog. You might also copy the catalog and preview files to a different hard drive/ssd and see if it LR CL upgrade works from there.

The error messages says it's a permissions problem. Recheck all your drives/folders for all rights. Sometimes an OS update changes permissions.

I'm on MBP 2015, Sierra. What worked for me: 1. Copy and paste the Google folder to the Plugins folder. I did this in PS 2017 and 2018. 2. Reset PS preferences from the Photoshop -> Preferences -> General tab click on "reset preferences" (this is the same as deleting the .plist file) Thanks for all the helpful suggestions.

Thank you for the suggestions. I will take a look at them. I have two reasons for using LR CC mobile: 1, I want to learn how it works and 2, my PC at home is my main LR Classic machine that I use to sync collections to mobile. When I’m away from home with my MacBook or iPhone I like to process and post. So, I’m trying LR CC to see how that will work. I’m open to improvements in this workflow.

For now, I am going to use LR CC strictly for my mobile photos and those photos from LR Classic that are in sync'd collections. I finding that to be an easy way to get photos for Instagram and Facebook onto my iPhone or iPad. For now, I don't need much online space in LR CC.

Well, there is only LR CC 2015 and LR Classic (V7). No such app as LR 2018. In any case both versions of LR work fine with sending an image to PS 2018 and back.

I think you meant LR CC 2015? I just tried this and it works fine LR CC 2015 -> PS 2018 -> LR CC2015. It works ok with File/save and ctl/cmd S. I am on a Mac Book Pro/Sierra machine.
