@Dmitrii35956449d9tl Are you accessing the link you've posted in an Incognito mode in Chrome? If so then this error may be related to that. Try in a regular browser tab and see if that helps!
Additionally, the link that Sameer has posted is a better link, and if that works, I'd recommend using that to access Photoshop web.
Let us know how it goes for you.

PG

Hi everyone!
The Photoshop team has made some QOL enhancements to the process of creating and editing arrowheads with the Line tool, check it out!
What's new
You can now create and modify arrowheads from the Properties panel and update the arrowheads on an existing line or lines!
Known issues Width & Length values are not synchronized to the line tool gear menu Width & Length value unit types get converted to the last used unit type (i.e. px, cm, inch)
Give this new update a try and let us know what your initial thoughts are and ideas to make this better!
Thanks!
The Photoshop team

New behavior for Hover layer bounds is now available in the latest beta build! m.2568 and later You can now navigate through the layers that share pixel coordinates by using the [ (next layer down) and ] (previous layer up) while the Move tool is over objects on the canvas. If Auto-select is enabled, you'll be able to click and interact with the layer who's boundaries are being displayed.
If your keyboard does not have [ and ] keys, you can customize this keyboard shortcut to your preference in Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts > Shortcuts for [Tools]
Note: The default directional hover cycling behavior follows the behavior of Opt+[ and Opt+] to change the selected layer. Curious if the direction of the keys makes intuitive sense? or should it be reversed in both instances?
Thanks to our Prerelease testers for sharing working PSD files to help describe the challenges of using Hover layer bounds on more complex documents!
Hopefully this adds a bit more functionality and usefulness for more complex documents.
Let us know if you have any feedback on this new behavior.
Regards!

@johnr26363143, Thanks for the report! We're looking into this one, but haven't been able to reproduce just yet. Any additional information you can provide is helpful for sure. A couple things:
Does this also happen if you bring up the font browser from the Contextual Task Bar? (This will use the legacy font browser UI)
We've made some updates, so please try again in the beta build that comes out next week and let us know if you still run into it.

PG

Good suggestions @Trevor.Dennis! @johnr26363143 , I'd also recommend resetting the font cache and restoring Photoshop preferences back to default to see if this fixes it for you.

Hi @cerysc30551222 ,
When you say font filtering, can you provide more info on what's not working for you?
Are you using the new font browser that's in the Beta?
If so, are you in Your Fonts, or More Fonts?

Pete

Hi Rob,
Sorry about the issues with working with shapes and I appreciate your adding of screenshots to the posts.
Wondering if you've been able to land on any specific set of steps to reproduce this one?
Am testing with 25.6 and haven't been able to reproduce the hexagon issue while moving 3 anchor points. Not sure if I understood the other scenario.
If you can help with some clear steps to reproduce, perhaps a video of the issue, that would be super helpful to track this one down and log for the team to investigate a fix for.
Get back with more detail when you can.

Pete

@Carlos_Oliveras -- Great to hear that you're enjoying the new feature set for browsing fonts! Thanks for the feedback. I'll check with the team on what would be expected/reasonable amount of delay when clicking through More fonts (Adobe fonts).
@Trevor.Dennis -- Yes, makes sense. That's too bad about fiber not being available for you yet, it looks so close! Hope they're able to extend it across the street. hah!
Will see what expected delay here is/should be.
Trevor, you also wrote,
"when I fiirst looked at this, I was not understanding that I was seeing the Adobe (Typkit as was) fonts" -- Should I take that as this should be more obvious from your perspective? Or would you expect "More fonts" to be explicit in saying "Adobe fonts"?

Thanks @Trevor.Dennis, curious -- are you filtering within Your fonts or the More fonts?
One other thing you could try is to clear the Photoshop font cache...can you give that a try?
Steps are here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-fonts-photoshop.html
If it's still slow, let us know and we'll take a deeper look at it.

Hi everyone!
We've made some improvements to the experience of browsing and selecting the best fonts for your project.
You can access the enhanced font browser in 3 places: 1. Options bar 2. Character panel 3. Properties panel (when a Type layer is selected)
What's new
“Your fonts” tab provides access to the currently installed fonts on your system or from Adobe Fonts.
"More fonts" tab allows you to easily filter, browse, and preview fonts from the Adobe Fonts library directly on the canvas without the need to install them first.
Clear All button lets you remove any filters you've applied such as, Adobe Fonts, Font Class, additional Font Tags, Favorites, Similar, and Language filters.
Feedback and votes
Please try this new font browsing experience and vote via the Beta Feedback panel to let us know if it's ready to be released.
Additionally, please let us know any feedback or ideas for improvement you have here in this thread!
Thank you!

@Trevor.Dennis and @marliton many thanks for your initial thoughts, and glad you're enjoying the functionality so far!
Regarding the "selecting the top-most layer when layers have overlapping pixel content at the mouse position", we're working on a solution for that to be able to select the layer content underneath as well, but that didn't quite make it into the first iteration of Hover bounds in beta yet, stay tuned for that it's coming soon!
If other thoughts on ways this could be improved come to mind, let me know! I'm all ears 🙂

Pete

Hi Photoshop beta friends!
We have just added a new feature for the Move tool called "Hover layer bounds" to the Photoshop beta, and it is available to you now!
What does it do?
This new feature adds the ability to mouse over an object on your canvas and show an outline of that layer. Additionally the corresponding layer will be highlighted in the layers panel. It also has additional function with layers with masks that display both the shown and hidden pixel data.
Hover layer bounds also works in the reverse direction as you mouse over layers in the Layers panel.
Hover layer bounds is very customizable;
You can customize the color, thickness, and the Layers panel highlight color in Preferences > Guides, Grid & Slices
and customize the behavior in the new Move tool gear menu in the Options bar.
We would love for you to give hover layer bounds a try!
Please let us know what you think and how we could make improvements to this feature.
Thank you!

Hi Everyone,
First, our sincere apologies to those that are seeing this tutorial pop up at every launch of Photoshop and the frustration it causes that it hasn't been able to be disabled for you.
This seems to be caused by OS User Accounts that have non-standard characters in the account name. The workarounds we're currently aware of are:
Switch to another OS User Account that does not have non-standard ASCII characters
Roll back to Photoshop 25.0
We have identified the issue and are working to resolve it in an upcoming update coming likely in January. Stay tuned for that, we'll report back to this thread when it has been resolved.
Regards,
Pete

Hello Photoshop community!
If you've used Generative Fill and Generative Expand, it's possible you've seen this dialog:
On November 7th 2023, the filters were adjusted to be less overly-sensitive, and we're still working to find the right balance here. If you continue to encounter issues after 11/7, please let us know in this thread!
Also, within this notice dialog, there is an opportunity to provide feedback to the team and request a review of the content. Please continue to use the feedback option to help us make improvements to this experience.
Thank you!

Hi @Daystar328087103rna,
Does an Uninstall and Reinstall of the Photoshop beta help at all here?
The reason I suggest Uninstall, is this has been an issue if the filter needs to be replaced. Ideally an Uninstall should remove the filter itself, but in the case that it doesn't it can be removed manually by deleting these two files. Delete those then reinstall if the first round doesn't work.
On MacOS:
Delete the "/Applications/Adobe Photoshop (Beta)/Adobe Photoshop (Beta).app/Contents/PlugIns/Required/Filters/MaterialFilter.plugin" file
Delete the "/Applications/Adobe Photoshop (Beta)/Adobe Photoshop (Beta).app/Contents/PlugIns/Required/Filters/MaterialSuite.plugin" file
On Windows:
Delete the "C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop (Beta)/Required/Plug-ins/Filters/MaterialFilter.plugin" file
Delete the "C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop (Beta)/Required/Plug-ins/Filters/MaterialSuite.plugin" file

Hi @nanifotografie,
I've tried to reproduce this so far with not much luck and wonder if a preference reset on your system might fix this on your end. Have you tried that yet?
https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back to return to your previous configuration.

Sorry for the interruptions to your workflow and frustration this causes @annk47167796 .
That's an interesting use of the dialog, to intentionally force the rasterization of the smart object layer. Thanks for providing that workflow idea.
You can disable this auto-creation of a layer when using the Brush tool in the Photoshop General Preferences here:
You'll want to uncheck this option.

Sorry for the program error trouble @Elizabeth33163533330o,
Does this happen with all .jpgs that you're trying to open? or particular ones?
You might try using the Cleaner tool to uninstall all things Adobe and reinstall and see if that fixes it.
Let us know how it goes for you.

Hi @RedFishBlack,
Thanks for posting on this badge on layer masks, and apologies for the workflow disruption this causes. The preference to disable this badging will be available in the next release of Photoshop.
Here are some solutions that will help in the meantime:
You can use Creative Cloud desktop to roll the 25.1 release back to 25.0
Install the latest Photoshop beta (Version: 25.2.0 20231018.m.2368 or later) and use the Layer panel options to disable this badge

Pete

Thanks for bringing this one up Trevor and all, apologies for the workflow disruption!
This layer mask badging went out intially without the preference to disable it when desired, and that preference has now been added to the latest Ps beta version Adobe Photoshop Version: 25.2.0 20231018.m.2368 in Layer panel options > Show layer mask badges.
