Maybe I'm doing something incorrectly, but I dragged a couple of photos from Bridge to my ID document. Then I decided to add a photo frame with a 2pt stroke. However, the stroke won't show up. Here's a screenshot, in case something is there that I'm missing. Thanks!

I'm dragging and dropping photos from Bridge into an InDesign document. Is there any way to mark these photos so that I know which ones I have used already in my document? It's a 60+ page book and it would be really helpful if there were a way to do this. Thanks very much!

I am trying out the latest version of Bridge on Windows 10. I was trying to drag and drop an image into InDesign, when a magnifying glass appeared. Now I can't get my cursor back. Never had this happen before. Is there a way to deactivate it? I'm not very agile in Bridge. Would appreciate your help--thanks!

I've been trying to put a stroke around this flower in Illustrator, but there are extra lines (they are very faint white ones). Someone said I need to remove the lines in Photoshop. I added a dark green layer so I could see the lines, but now I don't know how to remove them. I've tried the eraser tool and quick selection. Neither worked. Can someone please advise? Thank you!

Thank you! I tried using the Eraser tool to remove the lines and it did not work. Now I am trying Quick Selection and it is not grabbing the lines. What am I doing wrong? Is there any other way to see these lines when I'm using the Quick Selection Tool to get rid of the background initially?

Let me preface this by stating that I limp along in Illustrator. I'm trying to place a couple of images and add a stroke around them. The first image, I am getting an error message when I try to place this PNG. In the second image, I am getting extra stroke lines. I'm pretty sure I cleaned up the image in PS before I saved it as a PNG. What can I do differently with these images? Is there any way to remove the extra stroke lines if I can't clean up the PNG further? Thank you!

The Scan N Cut is not currently recognizing the images. I thought if I put a black stroke around the roses, the machine could then see the line and cut around each rose. I had a similar issue with some clipart butterflies. I drew pencil lines around the antennae and then the machine was able to "see" them.

I guess you could say a path. But I had seen videos on YouTube where people removed the white background in a photo and then created a stroke by double clicking on the layer and applying a stroke in the Effects menu. What I am trying to do is put a black line/stroke around each rose so that the machine sees that and not the entire rose. If that makes sense?

I am trying to get a Brother Scan N Cut machine to recognize the flowers in this photo and then cut them out. So far, it isn't working well. So I thought it might be possible to remove the background, select the flowers and add a stroke around each one. Can this be done easily in PS? If so, how? If not, is there an easy way to do it in Illustrator? Thank you!

I can't comment on my previous post as it has been locked/solved. I have run into another issue. How do I isolate each lady and make her into a separate png? I've tried cropping and while it appears to work, when I use the Move tool, I find the other ladies are still part of the file. I must be doing something wrong. After I painted the images with the brush, I selected Inverse, and I was able to move them around separate from the background. But when I exported them as a PNG, the background was still there, attached to the figures. How do I cut the figures away from the rest of the background? Sorry if I sound clueless here.

I'm trying to isolate each of the figures of the ladies here, and to save each one as a PNG so I can use them in a digital collage. I've tried different methods (magic wand, quick selection, select subject) and I still haven't got it down pat. I've even had difficult saving it as a PNG (the option isn't showing up in the "save as" menu). Please, can somebody help me with what would the quickest and easiest way to do this? Each method has its own drawbacks. For instance, "select subject" tends to just get the outlines of the ladies, and leaves the flesh tones because they are very much like the background cream color. Thanks very much!

The machine I have is the Brother Scan 'n' Cut. I can print the file out first, then have the machine scan it. Or, could I not open the jpg in Illustrator and convert it to SVG?

I want to put a stroke around each of these labels, because I'm going to use an electronic die-cutting machine to cut them out, and the software won't recognize them because they are so light colored. I know in PS, I can use the Marquee tool, then put a stroke around them.I think I'd have to do each one individually, though. Is there any easier way to do this? Would I be better off doing this in InDesign, and if so, can I automate the process in that program? Thank you very much!
