I realize this reply is many years after the post, but I have had the same issue on my Dell work PC. The veiw is ALWAYS skewed to the left and up out of view when I open ANY document I've been working on. I alwasy have it centered when I save it, but it always opens oddly. It's a time-waster to always have to recenter the window before working on a file. Plus it's annoying. PC running Windows 10 Pro, ID version 20.01

I did the repair step and it seems better so far. However I wasn't able to create a new Preferences Folder. Good luck!

Hello All, I use Adobe Acrobat Pro 64-bit daily at work. EVERY single time I open a pdf, it pops up an error box that says, "Acrobat has crashed" ... but it HAS NOT. My pdf is open just fine, and I still get the pop-up. It's quite annoying to have to close the dialog box multiple times every day. Any idea why it's doing this? Or how to stop it? TIA Susan

I have Acrobat Pro DC Release 2022.003.20258 running on an iMac with OS 10.15.7. Today I tried saving a pdf using the save as shortcut. Absolutely nothing happened. No pop-up dialogue box, aside from the query of where I wnated to save it. When I clicked on the location, it disappeared and it did not save. I looked in preferences and the online storage option is not checked (which was a solution in an earlier thread). To save the file, I had to save it to the cloud rather than my computer. But this is an invoice to a business, and I keep all invoices in a specific file on my computer. How can I save it to there? It has always worked in the past, but I did updates a few days ago, and obviously they broke something.

The first thing that got glitchy with the email icon within the PDF menu was that when I clicked it, it used to immediately open a dialogue box that opened a new email with the pdf attached. That was about a year ago. Then something happened: when I cliked the email icon, indstead of allowing me the dialog box, it immediately got a dialog at the bottom of the page saying it was connecting to a socket layer. Eventually one of 2 things happened. Either it put an email in my drafts folder with the pdf attached, or it just crashed Acrobat and closed everything. I was annoyed by this, but at least it worked some of the time. Starting yesterday, 10-19-22, Whe I click the email icon, it still says creating the socket layer, but then NOTHING happens. No draft email with attachment, nothing. So now to attach a pdf to an email, which I do a lot, I have to take more steps, by creating a new email and then searching for the pdf to attach. Not too hard, but also not convenient or fast in my workflow as the old way of it working. I will say that this issue only happens on my work PC running Windows 10 Pro, but on my personal Mac, it still works the original way. Are you planning to fix this issue for Windows PCs please?

The tech guys had already created a new user profile. All that did was put the pdf attached to an email in my drafts folder. I looked at the help page and followed the steps (yes, I have the most recent version) and now when I click the mail icon from a pdf, it crahses and closes Acrobat. So that didn't work.

Hello. Prior to getting Office 365, I was able to click the mail icon in the upper right corner of the pdf and it opened a new email window with the pdf attached. Simple and quick. My office decided to update me to Office 365, and now the email icon will not work. Our tech guys tried changing the settings, and one of 2 things happened. Either clicking the mail icon caused Acrobat PRO DC to crash, or it sent a draft to my email window with the PDF attached, rather than opening in a new email window. So my workflow is crippled a bit. I have a Windows PC, running Windows 10 PRO. My Acrobat is up to date. Although my PC is 64-bit, the Acrobat app is 32-bit. Any ideas on how to get it back to how it used to be? TIA!

It's still the same for me. The only way I can get it to do anything is to delete the app and reinstall it EVERY TIME I WANT TO USE IT. This is utterly unacceptable, but here we are. Paying an arm and a leg for broken junk program.

147.04 GB. Also, I don't have the same issue with the other Adobe mobile apps; just with PS mobile. All others happily load and quickly connect to the cloud. All others give me the option of allowing access to all photos. PS just sits and spins, or just sits and says it's not connected to wifi. But it is.

I know some others were told to go to settings and select "allow access to all photos," but I do not have that option in my PS mobile settings menu. It only has "add to photos" and "none" as choices.

The only work-around I've found is to delete the app and then re-install it EVERY TIME I want to use it. This is really unacceptable and very time-consuming. PS mobile used to work great, about a year and a half ago. Yes, it had fewer features, but at least it would open the photos and let you edit them. More bells and whistles are useless if you can't use them.

I've been having an ongoing issue with PS on my iPad Pro. I open the app, and it has a never-ending loading screen. My internet connection is good, I've reset the app settings, it has permission to access my photos, and it still won't load. It used to open and immediately show my work screen, but now it will not. At this point, it;s utterly useless. I'm attaching a screen-capture video of the perpetual loading message.

It is now April 2021, and I am still having problems with the PS app on iPad. I've tried deleting and re-installing it to no avail. It just goes to the loading screen and stays there, ad nauseum. I can't open my files, or do anything. Absolutely useless.

That's your canned, stock answer, but your users (including me and my colleagues) absolutely hate the new icon. Keep in mind that the general public is also dealing with the icon change, so your problem is a lot bigger than just paid Adobe users. In a finder window, it's too hard to see against a white background. I already filed a modification request, but I want to express that this time, Adobe, you messed up.

I had a student version of CS6 on CD. I installed that and did not allow it to update. So far, it's working like a charm. I"d like to add that prior to giving up and reverting, I did try every single suggestion Adobe has made in this thread. I even sent them files as they are asking so many of you to do. In fact, I see them reiterating the same, useless advice they gave me to you as well. Keep in mind that I started having the rainbow beachball issue almost a year ago. You would think that, for how much our subscriptions cost, they could have done some serious bug fixes in that year's time, don't you? But I see no effort on Adobe's part to fix any of this. It's quite ridiculous that this thread is still active after all this time and that people are still having the same issue. Yes, I can happily use my student version of CS6 InDesign. But then WHY am I paying $600 per year for a subscription for the latest and greatest??????????

I tried reinstalling CC 2017. I tried downgrading to CC2015. No luck. Finally, today I re-installed my old student version of CS6. Amazing! I finally can work with no interruption or spinning rainbow beach balls of delay, delay, delay. CS6 is my happy place right now ...

Update ... since I downgraded to 2015, it works fine. My question is, why did Abobe release 2017 with this issue unresolved? It's obviously a pretty universal issue, based on the number of replies. I'd appreciate more thorough testing before your releasing a new app version, unless it's a beta release, in which case I'd not install it until it was ready to run properly.

Lightroom cc, When I re-installed 2015 last night, I ended up with both versions installed. Using 2015 fixed the issue for me.

Thank you, Steve. I went back to 2015, and while the text gets kind of scribbly looking when I'm typing quickly, I'm not getting the long hanging pauses I did in 2017.

I'm having the rainbow beach ball of death too. Every five or so words I type, it hangs. Last night, I was on chat with Adobe support twice, and they "fixed" the issue, but after my working a little more on my document, the problem is back and worse than ever. Now it hangs for 20-30 seconds minimum. I'm running it on an iMac with plenty of memory and hard drive space and Sierra 10.12.1. It's impossible to get anything done. Very frustrated!

I also have the issue. My CC app shows the fonts as synced, but InDesign does not. No idea why.
