Since the t-shirt company requests vector files, you should complete your design work in Illustrator. Avoid switching between Illustrator and Photoshop unnecessarily. If you need to adjust colors, Illustrator provides robust tools for color correction and adjustments directly within the vector environment.

We're sorry to hear about this. Are you getting any error messages? If so, can you share the screenshot of the error? Did you try using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome) or incognito mode to see if it makes a difference?

You have already image traced it? And expanded it? Then select all and use the live paint bucket tool.

Why are you doing any of this in Photoshop? You mention a poster. Either finish the design in Illustrator or in InDesign. As far as deleting the "white background," select the Live Paint object in Illustrator and press the Expand button in the Control panel. Switch to your Direct Selection tool (white arrow) and click on the white background and press Delete. Repeat if parts of the background remain.

Actually, you can still purchase Adobe's Print Publishing Guide, Vol. 2... Official Adobe Print Publishing Guide, Second Edition: The Essential Resource for Design, Production, and Prepress, 2nd … if that link does not work, just google "Adobe Print Publishing Guide" and it will be one of the first listed. The "Print Publishing Guide" is different than the CS6 Print Guide which is application specific, typical scenarios encountered when setting up application files. The Print Publishing Guide gets into areas such as spot colors,separations, trapping, resolution ( image vs. output ), etc., etc.
