Adobe survey crashed my browser

While visiting the forums, a pop-up asked me if I wanted to complete a survey on the Adobe site.

I said yes, but it then requested I enable javascript and immediately froze my browser (Firefox 3.6.3). In fact I had to restart the computer to resume my work in the forums.

Do you actually remember the URL.

Look it up in you browser History. I'd love to go to it.

I am with you. I am just sorry that I was in the middle of a rush Project and just did not have time at that moment. I try to take all Adobe surveys, just to get my impressions and observations back to San Jose.

Phillip,

That might be a survey that Adobe would need to hire a bunch of "sailors," to review, due to the "salty language... " Would not want the poor processors to be faint of heart.

No salty language. But they would find in uncertain terms just how awful this Jive forum is and how silly it is to make bug fixes on pre determined schedules. And to ignore others.

Glad it worked, now everyone can have a chance at submitting their feedback rather than a random few (not that it really matters though).

User,

Thanks for that link. All worked perfectly, and I was able to complete the survey on Chrome, with no issues. Now, as soon as I told Adobe that they could contact me, my InBox filled with porno spam - well, that is not true, and I actually hope that they do contact me, so that I can share my perspective with them, regarding the fora.

Again, that link is appreciated,

Heck If they would call me I'd be willing to talk to them personally. Of course they may have to have some cooling savee to put on there ears after hanging up.

I would welcome the call, and would do my best to keep On-Topic for their survey. After all, the person on the other end of the line would probably be employed by another firm and know zero about the fora, or similar - just doing their job to ask more questions and compile the answers.

I'd try to be a gentleman and also be understanding of their role in things - trust me!

The savee wouldn't be for any salty langiage. but a

ll the details of what's wrong with the forum software would take so long b

ecause of the many bugs their ears would simply fall off.

Make the random line-breaks #1, OK?

I can just imagine the poor caller. After you finish with them, they would look like the popular depictions of extraterrestrials - no ears and their eyes bugging out!

What is this? It smells like a spoof. If it's legit, Adobe should forget about getting responses from cautious professionals.

I got the same thing.  I don't mind taking a survey (if the company  actually wants to hear what I have to say), but sending it from a  non-Adobe address (in this case) is just *stupid*.

Can  anyone tell me if this is legit?  (I'd ask adobe, but they seem to have made it exceedingly difficult to ask a general question...)

Thanks,

BJ

Yes it is legit. the dummies at adobe don't have the links correct for the form

If you you look in this forum there is actually a thread with the correct link to the Form. It won't make one iota of difference if you fill it out. In fact to my mind if there is enough criticism they will take down forums altogether.

I wonder if adobe didn't conciously adobe the sorry Forum software just to drive everyone away so they could shut it down.  Adobe doesn't care about anything except getting you bucks anway. If you get stuck aftwards no skin off their nose, they got your money.
