How can I create a shortcut for an Adobe product on my desktop
Welcome to the forums.
Unfortunately, you have posted to the Forum Comments forum, which is for discussing the forums.
I would post to the appropriate product forum, and ask your question.
Depending on your OS version, it might be as simple as navigating to the EXE file for that program, and holding down a modifier key, like Ctrl, and dragging to the Desktop. Then, you might want to Rename that shortcut, as it will likely have the "Shortcut to ____ " in the name.
Good luck,
Hunt

As Bill already stated, it would be better if you asked in the appropriate product forum, and specify your operating system.
If this is about a product suite like CS6 on Windows, you will have all the shortcuts in the Start menu. Simply copy (drag-and-drop) each of them to the Desktop.
