Forbidden - You don't have permission to access

Hi.

First of all I want to apologise for creating new thread while older one exists (created by other person).

Older thread is marked as answered, so it looks like nobody is visiting it.

Here is the link to that thread: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4052703#4052703

My problem is that I can not access any Adobe forum.

I live in Ukraine (east Europe), tried three different ISP providers and still get 403 Forbidden error when accessing adobe forums.

This lasts for a couple of month now.

Trashing cookies does not help.

At the moment, I am writing this post using foreign proxy server.

Is there any way to fix this issue?

I really can not understand the reason for blocking whole countries to prevent spammers activity (as mentioned in older thread), instead of just blocking those spammers.

No, I am posting using forum interface.

In short, using proxy server makes all traffic go thru it, and forum host thinks I have proxy server's IP address and does not block me (because proxy is located in other country).

But this is not comfortable, and not always possible at all.

I see it waiting. Will get to it shortly.

This means that you received private message if I understand this sentence correctly (I'm not shure now because of all this questions above).

    Or should I resend it?

I got your list and I have sent it off to the forums support folks who will assign it to their hosting group.

    Thanks!

We are trying to work through it. The spam issue is complicated by the type of spam (links to illegal movie downloads) that put the site at risk of losing DMCA protection and the fact that as we closed IP addresses the spammers just kept coming in from new addresses in the range at the rate of more than 1200 messages a day.

Send an email to userforum at adobe dot com with your IP address and I can get the forums vendor to try to open that up for you.

    Thank you for your answer.

I will send you e-mail during next day.

As I mentioned, I'm using three different ISPs (from different places), so I want to ask - can I send you 3 ip addresses, or it is allowed to unblock only one?

I haven’ seen anything come in yet. You could also direct them to this thread.

If the entire Ukraine is blocked then I doubt you will ever receive even any private messages!

I will be in Ukrane next June for the Euro 2012 so does it mean I won't be able to access Adobe forums?  This is worrying!!

If they were able to post in the forum they can post a PM.
