How to reply to a reply

I post a question. That question received a reply. I want to reply to the reply. I click the word Reply. That word reply turns gray. I type and nothing happens. I move the cursor all over the screen searching for seomthing to click on to allow typed letters to appear. Nothing happens. What is the trick to reply to a reply on adobe community page?

There were a few threads with the same question on this board. I've merged them all together into the oldest one I could find (this one). I'm not able to reproduce this issue but I've reported it internally. Do let me know if using a different browser or incognito mode fixes it. Thanks!

I just imitated your test at the stubborn site.  My test there was successful.

 

Is there an [unstated] limit to ?

  • number of characters
  • type of characters
  • case of characters

 

Particulary, number of characters?

 

As stated, I gain no error message.

The only limit that I know is a max number of posts within a given time.

And I encounter that, when a Reply seems to fail, so I try again, and am warned "Thou doth repeat thythelf too much, in the past 36000 [?] seconds."

 

And at that, it even specifically calls out [to the effect of] "identical content" [uses the term Post flooding], rather than number of posts, per se.

I'm unable to Reply in "https://community.adobe.com/t5/coldfusion/how-to-contact-forum-system-admin-i-am-unable-to-reply-to-...".  Using Chrome on Win10.

 

I click on Reply and the button disappears from that post and is gray in other posts.  Have rebooted etc. but no fix.
