How to resolve duplicate user IDs?

In the old forums, my user ID was DaveBurns. I guess the user name associated with my Adobe account though was DFBurns.I'd like to change DFBurns to DaveBurns so that all my posts, old and new, appear from the same person. When I try to change my user name from DFBurns to DaveBurns, it tells me that name is already in use (as I pretty much expected). Is there a way to resolve this?

When these forums started, an email was sent out detailing what you needed to do to associate your WebX account with your Adobe ID. I do not know if it is still possible to do this. Try sending a private message to adobe-admin.
