Just a heads up guys. I received this PM a few hours ago. It looks like a Phishing attempt, and when I Googled her name, I found this. I am sure people are too aware to respond to this sort of message, but it does not hurt to have suspicions confirmed. I've raised it in the Back Room so I imagine the account will be pulled.

Got the same one Trevor. Dennis, pushed into my spam folder. Seen these many times. Also got a calls from someone with a Spanish accent calling me grandma and sorry he called so late. We are in a retirement zipcode area so lots of these. I tell them to call my attorney son-in-law etc. for bail money. :+) JH

Yep. I made a similar post in the Back Room. The account is still active as I type this, but I am sure it won't be long till it's gone.

Norman, Szalam says he 'had a bit of fun' with the post. There was an interesting TV program a while back about a team who take these people to task. They suck them in, and get them to fly to the UK from Nigeria, and meet in out of the way places. After giving them the runaround, and getting them to waste money on flights etc. they front them out on camera.
This page is just one I found on Google, but will be the same sort of thing

I received a robo call yesterday.
....and your IP address has been compromised in several countries. It will be disconnected within forty-eight hours. To avoid this, and get a new IP address plus a free new router, press one to be connected to a technician."
Your IP address has been compromised is a known scam to extract personal info and a credit card number from victims. Don't fall for it.

I got an email from a Nigerian princess! She said her husband the Prince had been arrested and she had to flee the country for her life, and she wanted to send me her entire $3million fortune, and all I had to do was wire her $3,000 to bribe some guards! People are so nice!
