Problem with forum software?

Community Expert ,

Today at different discussions I can't see the replies.

Sample of discussion:

I can see only my own reply.

Yes I am seeing the same thing, looks like the servers are out of sync.

Same thing happening in the Premiere Forum this am.

Also, I have noted the 'Views' number going down?

From 10, to 8 then to 6?

An example.

How could there be fewer views after six minutes?

Also, Ann's post is not visible in the thread.

I have the same troubles. And it depends on server only because I use mac os with opera and firefox browsers.

I have found out that you can see other people posts when you post your own reply

Replies not seen in both the Bridge and Photoshop forums this AM.  Last post says it was posted quite some time ago.

OK, I see as soon as I posted my response and charles both showed up.  We have seen this about 3 months ago also.  Nodes not in sync.

For what ever reason, if you reply to a thead that has a post that is not showing, it will appear at same time as your response.

I can confirm this behavior.

I just replied, then deleted the reply in this thread:

http://forums.adobe.com/message/5378430?tstart=0#5378430

Once I did that, 6 missing posts were displayed.

Here is a tip from the computer junkie Noel

When you get a thread that seems to be missing responses, try something:

In the URL, replace the term "forums" in the server name with "support.muse".

For example,

http://support.muse.adobe.com/message/5378259#5378259

I've found this to be an effective workaround to the inability to see invisible posts.

Some minutes ago, this was the first thread in this forum:

Reply.JPG

However, when I opened the thread in IE10/Win7, I could only see the opening message. I got all 6 messages when I opened the thread immediately afterwards in Firefox/Mac. Just back to IE/Win whyle typing this, and I only could see the first 5 messages. Same issue?

Jive has cleared the node caches. Are you still seeing the issue?

John,

I just had to post, then delete, to see your post, so it seems it is still out of order.

Please don't do it because it creates unnecessary load on the servers.  These are Jive Forums and they are not as resilient as one would expect;  After all Adobe relies on these forums to service its client base.

Hackers are used to doing that to bring down any server on this planet but Adobe is not a big challenge here for them.

The issue is gone.

I just posted in a thread in another forum, seemingly making the first post, but then two other posts turned up before mine.

Please don't do it

I will abstain. It sounded like a good way to get things working when they are not, though.

Yup.  The Photoshop forum is messed up and has been for the past hour or so.  Tuesday, June 4, 2013.15:50 PST.  100 miles NE of San Francisco.
