How do I UNfollow discussions? [Branched & edited by moderator]

HELP!  I'm getting emails about responses to posts I never made.  I clicked a "Follow" by mistake, and I'm now getting odd things.  Is there any way to UNfollow something?

Thats not the way anymore is it? I'm already wasting to much time on this. How hard is it to have the "unfollow" in the followed post or the notification page?

click your icon at a forum page top right > click edit community profile (wait, have a cup of coffee, wait more) > tick the thread you want to unfollow > click unfollow
