Slow, slow, slow (III) !

LEGEND ,
Mar 15, 2008 Mar 15, 2008
The thread with this name that was closed with no explanation did serve a useful purpose, so I am opening a new one to replace it.

Speed is back to normal now, and if there was a shutdown, I wasn't here to witness it.

There DOES seem to be a dot missing. I did a cut & paste so that's the actual addy it was looking for.

Thanks. I'll look into it. I can't think of what would be at that URL. And I cannot find that URL in the page source except in Graffiti's message.

What page is loading where you are seeing it hang there?

Thanks!

There isn't a dot missing. wwwimages.adobe.com points to css and js files for www.adobe.com. But we shouldn't be hitting those from the forum.

Here is an example CSS file from Adobe.com...

http://wwwimages.adobe.com/www.adobe.com/lib/com.adobe/template/print.css

I'll dig deeper on Monday.

It's in the source of the main forum list at http://www.adobe.com/support/forums/.

Seems to be fine now though.

Right. That list is on the Adobe.com site. No connection at all to the Forums other than that it has links to the Forum server.

I just wanted to say it's been working fine now for a while since that last hiccup.

Better than always complaining eh? :)

I'm not complaining but on the desktop I'm not seeing the last previous post anymore. Speed is good though.

Only, like, 80 miles almost due south of him.

Is there snow in the west?

High speed, as usual, and no snow here.

Hehehe not here since early 1977, when we had about one millimeter (1 mm) one morning in February, Jacob.

I saw snow in Houston in 1976 or 1977 (forget which) Thanksgiving time.
I was traveling back to Houston from Dallas. I can tell you most Texans have no idea how to drive in the snow.

"Slow, slow, slow" is NOT how Texans drive on ice. It seems like every February, we get a news clip showing some of the unwilling participants in the sport of freeway bumper cars in Dallas.

For the moment, though, these forums seem to be fast, fast, fast in the cold northeast.

Pathetic responsiveness. It takes WAY too much time to get into the Lightroom forum and then to access a thread.

I'm 40 miles west of Chicago on a very fast Comcast cable modem.

Bob,<br /><br />Let us know when you get to 10 miles out. <lol> Seriously though, a number of us across the country have been noticing speed issues again over the past several days.<br /><br />Neil
