Strange email

Hello, I received a strange letter to my work email from Julia from adobe work account, that I’ve been selected by creative community fund to receive $ 10 k. And I want to be aware that it is not a scam.

If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. This has all the hallmarks of a scam.

What is the exact email address that you received the email from?

Ensure it's a valid email and not a phishing email

Did you ever submit a grant application to an Adobe Fund?  If not, either you're missunderstanding the email message or it's a total prank.

Congratulations!  Creative Residency Fund  is a legitimate Adobe Program.

They award $10,000 to Ukrainian refugees, people displaced by the Ukrainian war or people who are financially supporting the above.

Did you apply for this Fund and do you meet the Eligibility criteria?

If yes then it sounds legitimate.

I remember that I submitted my application, but I don't remember where and when, many things had been changed from February 24th in Ukraine and in my life. And now this email sounds really surreal..

I'm not surprised that is seems surreal.  It takes a long time for grants to be reviewed and funded.  But better late than never, right?   I'm very happy for you.  🙂
