Any stats? I would be curious how many people have left these forums. How are they doing? 😉

Surely there is room here for everybody?  why have people hopped it, looks like a pretty cool place.

Once the cobbwebs are gone, floors dry mopped, windows cleaned and the trash taken out life will be better. Also, stop callig me shirley.

In Premiere Pro and Encore, we've lost a good dozen regular contributors. In Premiere Elements, I'd say about five. Obviously, some could have new screen names (as I ended up with), so one might not recognize them.

How many "hangers-on," would be anybody's guess.

Amongst the fora, that I frequent, I will say that it seems about four different, er-r-r less than respected posters bit the dust.

Would be interesting to get some kind of idea, but the Adobe fora span such a broad area, I cannot imagine that even they could put real numbers to it.

You can get pretty much all aggregate data you want from the webservice

interface. Overall, I am not seeing a significant drop in the number of

messages on the forums. I have no idea about the quality of the posts

    though.

As I just wrote elsewhere, I'm just about giving up.

The last straw is the censorship vendetta being carried out by the upstart Zeno Bokor.  No point in even calling it to the attention of the powers that be.  Have others seen his mug shot?  Not only would I never buy a used car from anyone who looks like that, but I wouldn't even open the door of my house to such a creature.  Scary.

    I see your point Ramon

Well, we've effectively lost the entire photography forum.

Ann, Fred, Linda, Shep, Larry, Wade, Hopper, Nick, Ramona  - just to name a few.  I can't recall all the names and going back to the forum only reveals new names that I don't recognize, primarily because we all had to change our login names.

It would be my guess Adobe wanted the oldies to disappear. I could draw no other conclusion.

And what used to be a happy community of volunteer helpers has turned into a residue of edgy, angry grumps.

This particular grump is getting grumpier than ever out of sheer frustration with the infinite variety of forum quirks.  I'm hitting the Mark All Read button with increasing frequency.

If someone wrote a magazine article about these new forums, nobody would believe him.
