I am in semester four in college and I have to build a portfolio, but I only have projects that I did in school and project I did for myself. What is the process in portfolio development for a beginner designer?My interest is illustration, print and multimedia.     

Hi I am Peter and I am about to enter the advertising industry (graphic design) and I just want to introduce myself to others who are in the same field. I am about to get my associates in graphic design. I have Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and I have learn everything that a graphic designer needs to know about effect and well put marketing materials from logos, print, to multimedia. My passion is to create and learn through out my career.

  I think,the price about the applications which are created by Adobe is too high.  In my country,I can find many many cracked application.It makes me to start to think about a question:Why are there so many cracked applications?  At that time,I felt very puzzled.I searched for the answer for a while.When I see the price of the applications which are created by Adobe,I was very suprised of them,and then I understood.They are too expensive that many normal families cannot afford it.  It`s the reason that why I submit this discussion.I sincerely wan`t Adobe can bring the price down.Why not clean up the market in a mild way like bring down the price?

I recently started freelancing in logo design & brand identity. I suspect my clients so far are ones with small budgets - a social worker, a small mosque, a local humanist group and a guy who wants a logo for his website and t-shirts. It seems to me that one way I can make money in my situation is to try something like this: If a client comes to me wanting a logo for cheap, then I tell them "I will design a logo for you that I can also sell (probably with modifications or other elements) on cafepress.com unless you want to pay extra for you to have exclusive rights to that logo". I'd love to hear your feedback.

Have any of you used a site like cafepress.com, zazzle.com, redbubble.com or some similar site lately for selling t-shirts, etc.? In terms of pricing, quality and customer service, which do you prefer and why?

Hi,  my name is Julie.I was filing up documents and when I had to rotate on page the rest of the pages got rotated withthe same text from the page that I did rotate to begin with.  Hard to explain. Need HELP!!

Somehow, the invisible files are showing up. DS_Store and subsequent files. How do I get rid of them or at least turn them off so I can't see them again? Followed helpx.adobe.com/ and tried typing in UNIX code suggested in Terminal but it wouldn't recognize my password that works for everything else. I am the only person using this Mac. OS X El Capitan version 10.11.4. I've tried restarting and that didn't work either?Message was edited by: Erin Downward

Hey you guys!   Starting work on an animated film that takes place in the 1960s...specifically 1965 to 68. Looking for software that would be good for this. For more let me tell you what we need:JD {protagonist} has neat long brown hair and very bright blue eyes. Been using Plotagon. And the characters look human. Problem is that you can only get two people in a space/scene and characters can't sing. Also. The sets are a bit too modern...a PC in a teenager's bedroom for instance. I could go with either 2D or 3D. But either way characters need to look human. I need to be able to make them sing. And because this film takes place in 1965 to 68 we need things that you would see during that time. And I might need to use my own sets.  Does Adobe have anything for making animated films??
