I'm a High School Art Teacher. I teach Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premier Pro. A year ago, my  family decided that I needed to upgrade from a PC to a Mac.  Unfortunatley, I was in no position to buy all new software - even with the educational discount. I've been living off whatever I can get done during my free periods in school. But recently, I needed to develop some photos for my Drawing and Painting class ( for self-portraits - needed to work with the contrast, so I payed out of pocket for the month subscription. I didn't realize that it was an auto-renewal until I got charged again ($60 ) for the month of March. I never selected auto renewal....it is evidently selected automatically for you - go figure. Of course I raced to unsubscribe, but ....no refund. I'm stuck paying $120 now for a job that took me 4 days. When I called for help, I waited a half of an hour for a call back, only to be accidently cut off on their end, and no one called me back. I'm sorr

Is anybody aware that Jive is saving any profile changes for the past 72 hours?I tried to upload a new avatar and make some changes to my profile but It managed to do something but not everything.For example, my screen Name is not changing at all.  I must have done about 20 times but no luck there.My new avatar and new photo has changed but I can't make changes to my business address.  For example, how can I select this drop down menu:It is the State/Province I am trying to select so that my changes can be accepted but I can't.I am based in the UK so this might be the "problem" but why?  We ruled the world once .

Does anybody know a reason why the Photoshop General Forum may not be fully functional (since 13 hours ago it seems from the time of the last post)?Edit: The Reply-option seems to be missing in the threads.

I can't find anything about the change in upgrading paths from earlier versions to new ones.  Somewhere buried on the Adobe website was a statement saying we have to be on CS5 to upgrade to the next version.  Does this mean they've scrapped the three-versions back policy, or what I term "three strikes you're out!"  I've missed upgrades already because they sometimes come out too soon especially with the Point Five upgrades that to me are nothing more than updates demanding upgrade prices.Does this mean if I'm still using a CS4 product that when CS6 comes out, I have to buy the software at full price?  Does this also apply to Acrobat and Premiere Pro which I seem to recall did not fall under this restriction.  I'm already on CS5 or .5 for some software, but I still need to upgrade Dreamweaver and Photoshop.

Adobe as finally come out of the dark ages and allows for monthly subscriptions to use their office suites...now when are they going to allow us to move that to different computers so we can work anywhere and anytime...

Any idea how long before the Photoshop forum is functional again?

I cannot get the website forums to work properly anymore. I have tried on four different computers including one from a different location entirely. I also created an entirely different identity and it still doesn't work. If I go to log in, it logs me in and shows my personal info, allows changes to my password, whatever.  During the entire time I am in forums the top of the page says “Welcome, always frustrated” (that’s my user name). When I go to a forum question I posted a couple of weeks ago, I can view it, but I cannot reply and a "reply" option does not appear anywhere. It does say “logon/register” but that link takes you to a page that never loads. The same thing happens if I try to start a new discussion. This has gone on for a couple of weeks. After numerous trys, I thought I would try again this morning. Some how I got through this time. Can anyone help? (by the way, I may not be able to reply to this since I might not be able to post again).

I purchased a student edition of CS 4 Premium in early 2010. I am unable to find anything on the Adobe store of where I can upgrade this to CS 5.5 Premium for student or teacher edition. Instead, I only see that I can purchase another student edition for $449.00. But to upgrade CS 4 to CS 5.5 it is $649.00? Why does it cost more to upgrade? Is there not a upgrade price for student or teacher edition? Not finding it anywhere.

Hi! I am a new person here with little experience. I came here with the purpose of asking for help about webphone development. I would like to start building a SIP webphone with Silverlight. But I am not familiar with webphone development and therefore I need to find reliable applications for it. I found a sample program like this on the net: voip-sip-sdk.com/p_83-silverlight-sip-softphone-javascript-voip.html -I added this site just for giving you an example- but haven't heard about it before and I need some further assistance related to its development. Do you provide compatibility with the above sdk and webphone applications?  Thank you for your answer.

I know that the Acrobat forums are moving to http://answers.acrobatusers.com/ (not sure if that's a good idea or bad yet. I know the forum layout sucks eggs on a Mac in all browsers but that's another story) but, shouldn't there still be a notice or something letting people know where to go? They marked read-only but nothing is on the page explaining why or where to go?

I was wondering why is there an option to add more frames after hit? what is the main use for if cus' if I try to play a button that have more then 3 frames I don't see it and if I try to add gotoandplay(9) in a btn it still doesn't work... thank you for any answer you can give me.

So I registered CS5, with my email address.  I wanted to use a new email address so when I went to adobe dot com, under adobeID i changed to the new address.  After that under product registration it doesn't show CS5 anymore, I thought that maybe it was only linked to the old email address as the adobeID so I changed it back but it still didn't show up.  I then processed to change the id to something else and create a new account with the old info, the product registration was back, I should have stopped there but I decided to give it one more try and its gone now, and I have an extra account on adobe that I don't know how to get rid of.  So my quetions are:How does the registration connect to adobe products (specifically in my case it would be photoshop CS5)?Can I change the AdobeID or email address its connected to (the email address its currently connected to is to my ISP which I am changing soon)?How do I close an adobe.com registration that doesn't have any pro

I'm using RH7 and Windows 7. The browse sequences for my CHM files are no longer being shown. I can see them if I select View immediately after I generate the CHM file. However, if I then open the CHM file from the output location, which is on my C drive, the browse sequences are no longer shown. I've deleted the CPD and BRS files, created a new window, double-checked the configuration and cannot find the problem. I don't believe I have made any changes to my system that could be causing this.

I reported a question to piracy@adobe.com 2 weeks ago, but haven't got any reply, usually how many days it will take? So confused...

where do you go to get questions answered

Hi There~ I am relatively new to creating forms in livecycle.... I am wondering if there is a way to let 'form-fillers' know that their form has been succesfully submitted, after clicking the "submit by email".  I did a test of my form (application) and submitted it by email (to myself) and nothing changed on the screen- although it did go through just fine.  I am afraid that people will hit submit multiple times, without knowing if it is going anywhere.  Thanks so much for your help!
