Since sometime last week, I keep getting the following error when opening the Lightroom forum page or trying any of the other community forums (feedback.photoshop.com works ok : "System error We're sorry but a serious error has occurred in the system"I have cleared "forum.adobe.com" cookies and cleared browser cache.Once I delete the all "forum.adobe.com" cookies it will let me access the forum until I exit the browser then reopen it or visit the forum the next day I have repeat cookie deletion.Normally, I use Firefox but the problem occurs when I try Chrome as well and should have separate cache/cookie from Firefox?Any ideas to fix this?
Hi guysI posted a question about a year ago pointing out I was suddenly being moderated (Suddenly Get 'Post Being Moderated' tag. It seemed to get better, but lately I am being moderated again. I have been with the Forum several years now with good behavior, so wonder if there's a way to have my name exempted?Regards,Graham
Is there no function to block certain community members?I don't want to report anybody, deal with mads or Adobe employees.I just want the choice to not see posts from certain users. It's a health issue for me.I need to keep my blood pressure at certain levels.Thanks,-Paul[Moved by moderator from the forum Lounge to the Forum Comments forum.]

Some months ago I received notifications from this forum for older messages where there was no new activity. I was getting emails for some of my old messages, as well as older responses from others. I ignored those email notifications at that time. Today I discovered the date/time for at least some of those older messages changed from the actual post date/time.Was there some forum error or maintenance that caused this? Anyway, this post here is an FYI regarding this issue. The following link is to a post I just entered today 7/3/2017 regarding this issue... it is within a thread that has the mysterious date/time changes. My post here should explain my experience in this regard... Re: Error Compiling Movie and bug reports To be clear, I don't have any current issues which need addressing. This is only an FYI post. Thank you!
Adobe Idea Exchange is moving to join the Adobe CommunityAt the end of July (July 20), we will move all the content and users in the Adobe Idea Exchange from the current location on ideas.omniture.com to the unified Adobe Community at forums.adobe.com. This is being done as a part of our coordinated efforts to improve the overall experience of help and support across all of our Clouds and Solutions. The aim of the community is the same: to provide customers with a single place to connect, share your feedback, and get help with all of your Adobe products and solutions. While the information and help in the current community is useful for customers, we recognize that by having a fragmented community experience, with many of you participating in multiple communities, we are not being as helpful as we could be. With this move to our single Adobe Community platform, you will also benefit from improved performance and reliability, as well as additional community features including replying vi
What the hell is going on here? No day without new surprises, served by Jive!Look at this screenshot from the Muse forum (unfortunately in German):Evidently I selected „Sort after newest activity (Newest first)“ (or whatever it is called in English)Now look at the posts:• The first post in the list says „Latest Activity: Juli, 13th"• The second entry in the list says „Latest Activity: Juli, 14th"You see: The sequence of sorting isn’t correct, and that has as a consequence, that many forum members are waiting for an answer, but I never saw their posts! Preran, could you please prompt somebody to have a look at this? Working in the forum actually is really a pain!
I posted this thread earlier:Minimize Compression Artifacts in Dark Areas?Minimize Compression Artifacts in Dark Areas? However, the link that I provided is no longer functional. I would like to simply be able to edit the question so that I can update the link with a functioning one, but it seems that I'm unable to do so. Is it possible for me to edit my question if a moderator allows it?"Once someone else has replied directly to your message the Edit/Delete option goes away. In the situation that you still need to delete your thread, please post in Forum Comments so a moderator can delete."
Hi all i had issues with my system while I cannot find older versions of the driver on either Intel or Lenovo's website. However, the version I have isn't actually the latest version, it is I believe the second newest as the latest one was not approved by Lenovo for use on its machines and therefore the install failed. Are there any other possible solutions? Thanks.
What hapened to the system error discussion. It was here one minute and gone the next. Maybe Adobe are just embarrassed and have deleted it?LOL this has to be a joke, right?Firefox in Mac now works, when it didn't all day yesterday but clicking on the quote icon to replicate the OPs question in the answer, now doesn't, when it did last time I used it a day or so ago. Now Safari on Mac, which was the only browser working yesterday, doesn't work at all. I'm now met with:System ErrorWe're sorry but a serious error has occurred in the system.Chrome now works when it didnt all day yesterday. These idiots seem to get one browser right and knock the other one out.I have no idea why Adobe put up with this [unnecessary expletive removed by Mod] from their supplier.
I have been seeing this error (pasted below) for at least the last week or so. System ErrorWe're sorry but a serious error has occurred in the system.I basically cannot get into the site. In fact, before I found a solution, I just avoided using the forums until it would eventual "fix" itself which could take days or I had to clear all cookies. This is to say that a problem like this should be fixed and that Adobe may be missing important site traffic, the all important neighborhood bustle so to speak which makes this community vibrant. My current solution is to go into my browser's settings for cookies and, instead of deleting all cookies, I just delete cookies for forums.adobe.com (not adobe.com, but specifically forums.adobe.com). After I do that, it allows me into the site without the need to login... apparently using my existing cookies/login state for adobe.com. So something forums.adobe.com (Jive?) stores in users' browsers cookies isn't working or is causing something elsewhere n
there's an older thread regarding this recurring problem:System ErrorWe're sorry but a serious error has occurred in the system.but as yet no solution or explanation from adobe. very frustrating indeed....
Happening again for anyone else?In Firefox Mac I get a blank white page trying to access the forum and a message:System Error We're sorry but a serious error has occurred in the system. In Safari all is OK.

Has anybody else had to deal with the redirect loop on the Adobe forums? Neither my phone, nor my work computer would let me get on the forums when I first signed up. I had to go onto Adobe's website (not the forums), sign in, then change my username. I found that on a separate photoshop forum. Once I changed my username, it loaded perfectly fine. Anyway, it sounds like it has been an issue for a while. Has Adobe indicated any plans on fixing that or addressing the issue?

Hi, I would like to delete a thread i started because it contains info in an attachment that i do not want indexed. The title of the thread is 'Removing Digital Scribble...Possible?'. Thx.
I use the word 'banned' as I joined this Forum to specifically ask a simple question (as I could find no answer to it after a great deal of effort searching 'the web'),and I have tried posting it several times but it is not allowed to be posted. Why?

Finally, after two hours of hair pulling I get a discussion box. I have a problem that is not relevant to this particular forum regarding Photoshop. However, everywhere I go on these forums I get FAQs, and responses to a million and one issues other than mine because when I type in my question specifically I get "zero search results" regardless of how I rephrase it. I even posted in a question box, "How do I post on these forums?" Of course, none of the responses were from people having this problem. So, for two hours I have sifted through, "is it this?", "Is it that?" and I scream at the monitor, "NO, you've already told me that no one has discussed my issue. Let me ask my question!"So, is there a kind soul out there who can tell me where I can go to ask a simple question about Photoshop that alters resolution characteristics, or appears to, from those I have set on saving. It's probably really basic but I need a solution some time before Christmas.
