Adobe Service Outage Update | Adobe Customer Care TeamWhy wasn't something like this posted across the forums during the outage rather than leaving us all guessing?
Hi.I have two questions about the new forum design.1. Where can I find my last posts? I could not find the link to read my last posts.2. I can not open the pages for the older posts. Where can I find the link for second pages on forum pages? Here has one, but, there is no "load more pages" link in the Photoshop forum, for example.
Hi,If I want to search for an answer, I go to the relevant community and switch to the overview tab.I then enter some text into the "Ask a Question" box and then my instinctive action is to hit the enter key. This causes the forum to log me out.I am using IE11 on a Windows 7 system. Do I have something set wrong or must I just avoid using the enter key?Brian
Is there a control over Inbox where every read comment will be reflected as read in the specific community thread listed under "Content"?As I realised today, if I have read a contribution to a specific thread in a Forum and switch over to my Inbox, that is always open in another browser tab, that comment if also listed there is also marked as "read". That's ok.But not the other way around. That is making the Inbox less useful. Not to say useless.Uwe
Why is this never changing?I have posted a reply and it is nearly 30 minutes but it never changes!!! Is it working or one should ignore it and not rely on it. I thought I can rely on it to see if there is any need for further clarification but the feature is completely useless.
I Am finding no useful information on the forum overview page. There is no way to tell if the thread has been read, who the last comment was from, or if the thread has been viewed by anyone. In addition to thar, if the thread is a long one, especially if there is more than one page, clicking on the conversation in any of the views no longer takes you to the most recent unread post. This change in behavior makes it especially difficult for users to get to pertinent info. Please fix these two problems. Providing assistance to others on the old system was much easier when we could see what was going on in each thread as soon as we landed on a forum. It now takes 4clicks to get to a view that gives any usable information on a thread other than the title. My specific concerns are the After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver forums.
I guess this is updating my status. When I clicked on "Update your status" on my profile page it took me to a stream page with no place to update anything other than start a discussion. Seems rather stupid but I'll play.My current status is... annoyed with the new forum. Why are support forums trying to be like facebook? We don't need multiple photos of ourselves, bios, or status updates that don't update anything. We are not here to make friends or find a date. We just need a place to ask and answer questions. No one gives a crap about this other stuff or they would have asked their questions on facebook and then browsed Aunt Mildreds photos of fluffy. Either this function is broken or it's completely useless. If it's been disabled by the Adobe admin who brilliantly chose this crap for a support forum, then jive should remove the useless links/features from the profiles.I've never heard of the jive forum until today, and I have to admit they picked the right name. My first impressions
How do I change my Jive username? I think it's a violation of Privacy Policies to use our real name without our permission!
I'll admit I'm old fashioned and don't use or trust social networks much, but do we really need our requests for help with Adobe products being so easily shared with all of these companies? (Listed below, copied from the share module on the left of the content list) Is Adobe getting kickbacks from them or something? This seems to have no real benefit to the users of the help forums. If someone really wants to share a post, can't they just copy the url like we did in the good ole days before fbook? I don't remember anything in the privacy policy about my posts appearing on facebook and every other frickin social network on the planet. These forums should allow knowledgeable people to be able to easily find our questions AND be able to easily reply to them so we can get on with our work.Lose the stupid social and share crap already and focus on a forum that works properly.[links removed by moderator]

Hi,http://forums.adobe.com/ suddenly stopped working on my Windows Phone 8 running Internet Explorer 10.I believe this must be an error in the configuration of supported OS/browsers in the forum configurations. All forums worked perfectly well up until some days ago. The change occured around May 1st, I believe. Now I get this error message. Please fix this as I use my phone as the main browser for accessing the Adobe Forums as a licensed user of Photoshop Lightroom.
I feel there's a need for one....
My biggest problems in using the new forums effectively.1 On the old forums, I had set up “my forums” to be the ones I was interested. My “forum home”, used dozens of times a day, was the list of forums. This was not perfect, but if used frequently it showed me the new messages in the forums I was interested in, and not anywhere else. How do I do something like that? In other words, how do people who want to track and have the opportunity to reply to all messages in particular forums do that?2 On the old forums, the list of “trending questions” didn’t just show the thread creator, but the person who posted last. I used this info constantly to avoid revisiting messages where nothing had happened since my last reply. Can I get this back?3 The list of “trending questions” used to have a “more” option to go back further. How do I do that?

Nokia Lumina less than six months old, fully updated.Whether IE is set to 'Mobile' or 'Desktop' I get the same screen when trying to get here; saying that IE7 and below is not supported. That is nice, but my phone isn't running IE7 or before. And, since this is a work phone, I am not allowed to load another browser. Nor would I be inclined to load another browser merely in order to accommodate one malfunctioning site. So, until this is fixed, my access here will be limited to those times when I can get to a desktop machine (like now).--OB
Where Do I Go to Access My Profile?I have got to turn OFF E-Mail notifications, as I have gotten over 3,000 since the "new & improved Jive" went live.I know that it's just hidden, on say page 300 somewhere (like posting this question!), but I cannot find it.TIA,Hunt
I'm going elsewhere for my Adobe support. This is the worst design, ever, for a forum. You can find me at SitePoint forums.^_^

Everyone seems to have16,385 points from what I can see.Is the points system still in a state of flux, is it essentially now meaningless, or do I have a local problem that causes me to see a bogus value for everyone?-Noel[ image removed by moderator - private email address visible ]
Yet another clever change in the forum software. Where is the "Mark all read" button gone ?
The Insert Image button (the camera icon) is greyed out and doesn't work. So much for screenshots, which are very helpful in explaining and troubleshooting.
Excuse me for dropping in here, but how do you create a new topic in this forum? I finally found I can open a page for a new thread by clicking on the pencil symbol in the top-right corner, but the site won't allow me to post my question. It just gives me a message saying "You are not allowed to create or update this content." What the hell?
