Hi guys, the last question I posted helped me a lot so I give it another shot. This is my typical video: Coldplay - Hypnotised (Cover) - YouTube I'm using a Canon Eos500D with the original lens. Today I saw this and I felt like a baby: Issues - Julia Michaels - MTV Cover Of The Month - YouTube Ignoring for a moment the light, the movement of the camera and the fact that they are very young and good looking ... the quality of the image is stunning.It's something I can work on my camera settings, premiere setting or I should focus on the lens ? (pun not intended ) Or it's something I can get in Premiere ? Sorry for the very noob-ish and generic question !

This might seem like an odd thing to ask for, but I am genuinely looking for someone who is experienced in editing to kind of take me under his/her wing to give me some guidelines on what editing techniques and principles that are the most important to work on to become a great editor.A little about me:  I am 29 years old, I live in Oslo, Norway. I have 7 Products published on Adobe Exchange. All of which took for ever to be reviewed and I'm talking weeks. When Adobe Exchange emails me about products I've submitted, I am usually left confused meaning they have very unclear communication. Their customer support is painfully slow which is the reason I assume they have nothing to do with Adobe because Adobe's customer support is top of the line. Does any one else have bad experiences with Adobe Exchange? What are they?[moved to the Video Lounge}

I agree with RotoPawn on many points. Let me share a short story I had in my life while on a call with Adobe Support.  Scenario was I was migrating from Photoshop license to Creative Cloud.  I owned/licensed multiple instances of Adobe Products. After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator (since 88), Dreamweaver.  At the time the best cost savings was to use Photoshop license to get $30 a month, cable company pricing model.I was on the phone because the serial number entered was not allowing me to proceed with the install.  Of course I had a deadline the next day and needed the software to meet my deadline.While on the call the house across the middle of the street was on fire. Smoke was billowing on the street.  The smoke and flames were scary enough I told my wife to take our infant daughter and drive to my Dads house.  I however was determined to not drop the call, not knowing how long it would take to resolve the call based on numerous past experiences with A

Speaking of keyboard shortcuts that stopped working, it´s no longer possible to launch Premiere Pro and press Ctrl+N to create a new project. Adobe is the new Apple? Well, the Program Manager for Premiere Pro has actually worked for Apple "...as the U.K. Pro Video business development manager..."Not a surprise then why Premiere Pro has morphed into a FCP7 copy and why Apple users are their main target today.

Hi,I wish I could create such same kind of effect in my videos:video 003 - Vidme Is it possible to get it like that? or at least as nearest possbile to that?Is there any video effect tool I can use to create the beam-sound on text popping up on the screen? And the text effect which comes and goes in a specific way. And also inserting background-video and effects like shown in the video above?I am using Filmora Video Editor, but can't seem to find the beam-sound to add on the popped up text like in this video.Would appreciate the help.

So, your first mistake was in "upgrading" to CC2017.Your second mistake was believing that Premiere actually cares about catering to "power uses". Adobe is the new Apple; if they can lockdown the consumer market, nothing else matters. To make a story short...I got in love with animation....Tried few free programs and bought one for video editing...Found out that there is just one real program if you want to learn and make animation, editing and effects...I was to scary to get After Effect and learn it but...Today I decided to do it... I want to learn After Effects and do magic...Price is 19,99$... Well ok I told to myself it is what a average worker earns for one day in Croatia but I really want to follow my dream and buy it (Hope my wife want found out i spent money on my dreams - she said I am too old to have a dreams)Registered, entered credit card numbers and BAM!!!I can't do it from Adobe.com! Hi Everyone,I am trying to understand why Adobe has not already incorporated a 3D unified workspace in After Effects yet, this cheap software Hitfilm pro has it and adobe should be light years ahead of them. So I hope that Victoria Nece will read this and give us a 3D unified workspace.Let me explain the problem that I had the other day, but first I already know how to use mask to make this work, but as you know it takes a long time to do that. I have a 3D ship that I was trying to put a person in that was greened screened and could not get it to work and that is when I realized the problem. In a 3D unified space you can place 2D objects inside, behind or in front of 3D objects, "they behave just like a 3D object", no masking needed.If anyone knows how to make this work that I am not aware of please let me know.So if more of you would tell Adobe about this, they might make it happen.Thanks

I've been a motion graphic artist for over 10 years and I'm thinking of holding a training/class for After Effects in my area (USA). There seems to be a genuine interest plus it would be neat to get a bunch of motion designers together in the same room. I was thinking of charging a fee to get in the class (1 class that lasts a few hours) but didn't know if I needed to be an adobe certified instructor? I just want to make sure it's "legal" to charge people and that it's not against any rules for adobe. The only literature I could find on the topic was that IF you're an ACI, then you can be involved in adobe's trade shows. Nothing about just holding your own training program. If you wanted to work full time on online jobs using After Effects and related programs, what is the best way of doing this? How achievable is this? I've done online jobs (not many) but I was wondering if there was a way of turning it into a reasonably paying full time job. I was also wondering about the best machine for this (eg. I have Windows 7, 32GB, i73930K 3.2 GHz), eg. updating the RAM to at least 64GB, a better processor, Windows 10, etc. to make working on projects faster, easier than before, it would also help working on higher resolution projects eg. 4K.I was thinking of work such as: animated explainer/promotional type, whiteboard, kinetic typography. Maybe rotoscoping/editing/general compositing?. Hello, I know the title definitely didn't help identify the problem however I am unsure how to label this.So just as a bit of background to the problem. I am currently working on a production of Animal Farm that makes heavy use of projection.I am designing a computer game video that is played on the back of the show and interacts at certain points.The game itself is composed of two parts.The Game Boarder:And the game screen.The game boarder being a PNG sits over the game screen and has a png document cursor that naviagtes the game. So as i said the game changes as it goes on matching what is going on with the scriptFor example when the animals harvest the fields the fields merge to brown etc.I also have pop ups that appear that say eg "A sheep has died" and the mouse moves to this.So onto the problem.Due to being unable to accurately tell the timings of the actors what I have done is ive put all the occurences without gaps and so the video is simply paused.But i have hit a moment where

Hi all, I wanted to ask you how do you do to meet new people and colleagues to work? How do you grow some confidence with new colleagues?I'll put a bit more context into my question to make it clearer.I used to live in a very stimulant and big city and due to life I moved to a smaller town. In the beginning everything was very stimulant. I opened my own boutique production company and made big strides. Everything was new and you could feel the progress. Some years later I feel like things began to stall. I met most of the people in town, most of the companies with which you can collaborate, and I have a pretty good idea of what the place is about. And what the limits are in such place.How do you do to keep growing, to keep meeting people, interesting people with which you can collaborate? How do you engage with people similar to you in order to get involved in projects that are more challenging, appealing and bottom line makes you happier?I look forward for your comments
