Acrobat Reader

Greetings all, I have just installed Acrobat via Adobe CC on a newly built desktop PC running Windows 11 Pro.  All software, drivers, and versions are up to date.  I then set up Acrobat to use a self-certified digital signature (I created both the Windows and stand-alone certificates).   I then try to digitally sign a document via two menu options (both options cause the same result)Use a certificate>Digitally sign Use a certificate>Certify (visible signatures) In either case I am prompted with the option to drag a signature rectangle, but as soon as I drag the rectangle, the entire app window grays out and freezes, and the app can only be terminated via Task Manager.  I also tried certifying without a visible signature, and get the same result minus the prompt to draw a rectangle first. Please advise how I can fix this. Thanks! 

Hi all the expertsI am using Adobe Acrobat Reader (32-bit) version 23.8.20470.0 after updated with both Extended Asian Language font pack for Adobe Acrobat Reader and Spelling Dictionaries Support For Adobe Acrobat Reader installed, running on Windows 10 64bit english version with japanese IME enable, and tested on many computers, but the Japanese Font on all the Adobe documents are unable to display. Any one have any idea?

Hello,   I just installed the most recent version of Adobe Reader (and under Settings->General I no longer see this option:  "Open Documents As New Tabs In The Same Window"   I always selected it, as I prefer to have documents open in separate windows.   How can I do this in the new version?   I have exactly this installed: Adobe Acrobat Reader Continuous Release | Version 2023.001.20064 | 64-bit

I like to keep a current version of DC reader on my laptop to help me with fillable forms for work, but I'm not a big fan of the UI change in the last few months/weeks.  Is it possible to install two versions of DC reader on the same laptop (running Windows 11)? That way, I could use the older version for reading most files, and then use the newer one when I ran into trouble with forms.

I am new to using Acrobat Pro and was making a fillable form with image field so that images can be added. The image field fill and stroke is turned off . PDF is saved as Acrobat Reader extended (most users will have this instead of the Acrobat Pro). Upon testing it using Acrobat Reader, I found that when I select a black transparent PNG image (e.g. a black logo/icon with transparent background) it turns into full black square but it works fine when the image is colored or have white background. Is there any way to fix this?

Just a short while ago I tried to move a document to a folder. I had it open and then it was stuck on Content Preparation States. I canceled that multiple times and closed the document and still, I could not move or delete it. Why does it say it's still open when it's not? Help please sooner than later!

Dobrý večer. Ja by som sa chcela informovať a zistiť, či mal niekto podobnú skúsenosť. Dňa 17. 01. 2024 som si zakúpila bezplatnú verziu (potom mesačné predplatné v hodnote 23,99€). Počas tohto obdobia som zrušila túto bezplatnú verziu, ktorá mi mala skončiť 24. 01. 2024. Poplatok mi však24. 01. 2024 stiahli, ale následne mi bol aj vrátený. Myslíte, že naďalej mi tento program nebude účtovať mesačné transakcie aj keď v mojom konte mi píše, že nemám zakúpený žiadny plán? Ďakujem.

I'm trying to save documents on my computer, but when I click "Save" or "Save as", this happens:the window remains blank. I haven't tried restarting the program since I have important notes unsaved should I just consider them gone?

I am new but learning javascript and its use in Adobe Acrobat Forms. My version of Acrobat Pro is continuous release 2023. This is a hefty order but curious to see if it can be done. I will create a button named "Check version date" with javascript action to pull a date from a hidden field on the form housing the version/revised date of the form.  i.e. this.getField" ("VersionDate") Then, it gets super tricky. I want further javascript language to:Go to a URL intranet link of the same form and check the date of that version.Return an app.alert with validation, "This is the most current version of this form, please proceed" or "You are not using the current version of this form, please go to intranet and download the newest copy" Possibly add a reject notification after form submit if it is the wrong versionOverall goal is to have the check version button at the beginning of the form before users complete the form. Then, have the end user confirm they have the most recent

Hi,I have enrolled a certificate from an internal CA which is indended for Digital Signature,I can see it in Adobe Reader under 'Preferences -> Signatures -> Identitied & Trusted Certificates' successfully, and I also added the internal CA as a trusted CA in Adobe Reader,but Adobe Reader don't allow me to 'mark' this certificate for 'Use for signing' and use it for digital signature,If I use a Self-Signed certificate Adobe Reader does allow me to use the self-signed certificate for Singing, however, other tools, like MS Word in word or Foxit in PDF, allow me to use the certificate from the internal CA for signing, What do I need to do to allow me to utilize the Certificate from the internal CA also in Adobe Reader for signing? 

 Fill & Sign -When using the Sign feature, I click on add signature and the screen freezes.  Only thing I can do is go to tasks and end the Acrobat Reader DC app.Help Please!!!

Hi,I just had this problem on 3 different computers. I removed adobe reader. Installed the latest version.When I want to start the program, it does not open. Nothing happens.Already tried a repair installation.Tried to reboot. Nothing. What could be the issue here??Adobe Reader X64

I am partially sighted. When I find text using ctrl+f, I find the results are hard to locate. Is there a way of customising the appearance of the found text?I'm using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.Any pointers would be appreciated....

Just today something in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC for windows 11 changed: When i right click, the option box opens but is blank, until i scroll the the cursor, and as cursor passes over items they appear.  I tried uniunstalling and reinstalling from Microsoft store, but same problem  This only happens in reader, not other apps.  Any suggestions how to get full list of right-click options to appear again?     Thank you for your help.😊

I received a PDF document that was signed in DocuSign, however the signatures can't be seen when the document is opened in Adobe. I can see the signatures when uploaded to DocuSign

I have a pdf with a lot of links (imagine a paper with numbered lines and different lines are sometimes referenced with a link in the same pdf document). When I click a link, it takes me to that part of the pdf - great. However, I want to know if there is a way to have a preview of where that link would take me just with a mouseover of the link or something similar, rather than going all the way to where the link takes me by clicking. Does such a thing exist for adober reader?

I see all previous threads regarding this have provided no solutions. How do I turn off default double sided printing for Adobe Acrobat. No - it is not a printer configuration. No - the option to turn off double sided does not come up in the print settings dialogue.

I recently updated my Macbook Air to Sonoma 14.1.2 and now I can no longer print on Adobe as a POSTER. This option is completely greyed out. I also cannot uncheck 'print as image' as that is also greyed out. I am a teacher and an artist, so I used this feature all the time. I have read other discussions and tried everything suggested. I have also tried getting in contact with an agent, with no luck. Any help would be much appreciated. 

I have searched and found other people describing the same issue but their solutions never work for me.  The person who described it best was: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader-discussions/select-tool-not-working-properly-for-text-selection/m-p/13329965 That solution did not work for me. I use Adobe Secure Sign to request signatures for employment contracts. When I send the contract, I also send several other pre-employment documents. I've been doing this daily for months without issue. Suddenly, I can no longer drag & drop files. I have to click 'Add file' and manually add every single file (I can't click this and upload multiple at a time either) Is there any way to fix this?

When I first loaded Acrobat Reader on my laptop that is running windows I was able to open a PDF and when clicking CTL+A it selected text on all pages of the PDF. I have since logged into Adobe and now the CTL+A only works for the page displayed in the same file that it worked on before logging on.  I have tried signing off and it does not work. There are no document security limitations.   Help in getting this working again would be greatly appreciated.
