I have created a fillable form using Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020. After entering the fillable field in the form, then save as to rename it when completed. My problem is when I upload it to my company’s routing software the form’s fillable fields are blank. The form and fillable fields show but the “fillable” data is blank.
It suddenly became totally unusable, now all I get is a large gray box in the center of the App.I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but that didn't work either.I had to use the task manger in order to close it. I will never use Adobe products again!
I'm not a techie person so forgive me if I use the wrong language. My adobe acrobat pro dc and reader are not working properly and I have no idea why. I'm receiving tons of Program Compatibility Assistant messages asking if Did this program work correctly? Acrobat licensing service, adobe systems inc. I can choose yes, this program worked correctly or no, launch the troubleshooter. In file explorer, when I double click to open a pdf, they are not opening and I get these compatability messages. I've been getting messages that say Adobe Acrobat Protected Mode - adobe acrobat cannot open in protected mode due to an incompatability with your system config. would you like to open adobe acrobat with protected mode disabled? What is this? I haven't changed anything on my desktop running windows 11. in addition to adobe not behaving properly, MS outlook is not working correctly. what am I suppose to do to fix this?
Hi there, I use Adobe Acrobat Pro Dc for work and every PDF opens as a new window. Can I open PDFs as a new tab instead of a new window? I work with a lot of PDFs at work and sometimes have 20 PDF windows open but I would much rather have them open as tabs. I have tried going into preferences --> general but then I don't see the option to chec opening new tabs instead of windows. Please help!
Is there an easy option to turn on/off high contrast in Acrobat Reader. I work with 'White text on Black' option. But often, the content is not readable and I have to temporarily turn off the 'Use High Contrast colours for document text' option and turn it back again. Presently, I have to access the option through Edit->Accessibility->Setup Assistant->Next button and click 'Next' another three times each time I need to change the setting. is there a way to quickly turn on/off the High Contrast option? I am using Acrobat Reader 2023.008.20421 on Windows 11 HomeWould be extremely helpful if someone can guide me on this. Thanks!
Hello everyone, I have a problem while using highlight option. I am reading a book on pdf format that doesn't have text recognition, and I highlight some parts of the text with colors (like if was painting on it). At some point, adobe started by default, each time I highlighted a line, to reset by default the option with "selection". I have each time to click again on "highlight" and bu the end it is time consuming. Do you know how I could fix it?
Hi- Normally my Acrobat Reader comes up with the Menu and Toolbar displayed. However, I have one particular document (it is a billing statement) that is always loaded with the Menu and Toolbar hidden.F8 & F9 always brings the Menu and Toolbar back (took me a LONG TIME to find that option/feature), but is that controlled by the document creator?I.E. - I only see this statement once a month and I FINALLY have gotten to the point that I remember the F8 & F9 options -- BUT is there any kind of option in the Adobe Reader that will have the Menu and Toolbar ALWAYS displayed, no matter what the creator did to hide them (whatever he did)?ron in round rock
My Acrobat DC doesn't display the color plane and background color. How can I display them?
Hi,When I first started to use Adobe Acrobat Reader, I could click once on the highlighter logo and then highlight as much text as I wanted. Now, I cannot anymore. If I want to highlight something, I must click on the logo, highlight the thing, and then click again to highlight another thing, and then click again... It's really annoying to have to click every single time. Is there any way to come back to the first setting which allowed me to highlight for as long as I wanted without having to click back again to the highlighter logo each time?ThanksAlice
l hit the wrong key in Acrobat Reader. Now I get the crosshairs cursor instead of the default, vertical cursor. when I open the .pdf file. I'm stuck. How do I change back to the default, vertical cursor when I open the .pdf file? Also, when I click on the document, the document turns blue. See screenshot attachment. FYI.
I’ve been having trouble with Reader since I upgraded my Mac to Ventura. If you go to this 9 Nov list of Adobe products compatible with Ventura, Reader isn’t on it. https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/macos-ventura-compatability-common-issues.htmlThe page says to wait til the uncompatibles are compatible, but I’m stuck and have to live with it. I’m guessing I’m not alone in this. The main manifestation of this problem is that my comment toolbar only has the highlighter in it, not all the others. In fact, I have to shut comments off to get to the workarounds I’ve been using. So far, the workarounds seem to work. But I’d feel better if I knew Reader was not going to go squirrelly on me or my proofs would be hard for someone to read my comments done in my workarounds.I stumble on this page: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/background-processes-macos-ventura.htmlFix issues for Acrobat Refresh Manager | macOS 13 VenturaIt mentions Adobe Acrobat Synchronizer, but I’ve seen scary
I have thousands of scanned documents, and I need to know which ones have optical character recognition (OCR) and which ones don't.I don't have the ability to open each document by itself to check.I have ABBYY FineReader 16Apparently there is such an option, but I couldn't find where to do it.Is there any way to check all my scanned documents and tell me which ones do not have OCR?Or is there any such software in the world at all?
Attempting to install updated version on Windows 10 for Adobe Reader DC by pushing with a RMM tool. Using the exe file (ex AcroRdrDC2300620380_en_US.exe). It begins the install and then I get the error: Setup has detected that you already have a more functional product installed. Clearly, I am installing the newer version and not trying to downgrade. I tried a couple of older versions as a base for testing and get the same result when trying to update to the latest version of Adobe Reader DC. Any idea why I am getting this error and how to resolve it? [Moderator moved the thread to the correct forum]
Windows 11 Pro. Adobe Acrobat Reader ver 2023-008-20421 64 bit. Previously, when I opened up a PDF document, the "export" feature would automatically open up on the right side of the document. Now, I have to manually click the very small arrow key on the right side to bring up the export feature. I have clicked on the small arrow to open the export feature once and then went to Edit > Preferences > Documents > Select the option 'Restore last view settings when reopening documents' and 'remember current state of tools pane' > Clicked OK. This did not work. Does anyone know how to now have the export feature automatically appear when i open up a pdf?
Impossible de modifier le PDF car il charge et n'est donc pas modifiable
How can I display the menu bar in Acrobat Reader DC (which doesn't have it) so that I can save a file under a new filename? (I tried asking Adobe's chat bot, but it insisted that Acrobat Reader is not the lastest version. However, elsewhere the Adobe website says it is.)
When using Adobe API (https://pdf-services.adobe.io/operation/createpdf) to convert a docx file to pdf, the comments in source file (docx) is ignored. Is there any option to retain the comments?
Hello, How, I could measure the perimeter and air of an area without having to do double work. Isn't there a tool dedicated to this?
quiero usar la herramienta "leer en voz alta" la que uso en la vercion de tlfn pero no la consigo

Why does Acrobat Reader require me to enter my password EVERY TIME I open the app? This happens on both my iMac (2021) and Macbook Pro (2015), all using fully updated software. It's become too annoying to use Acrobat Reader and I am now defaulting to Preview. But there are times I like to use Reader.
Fit to width no longer works on latest Acrobat Reader updates, causing the arrow keys to not work also when using two-page view. I hope it gets fix, but meanwhile I need to be able to use it. Where can I get an older version of Acrobat Reader?
