Acrobat Reader

I have yet to get an answer to why my Adobe Reader is crashing while doing a SAVE AS function. It's been over nine (9) months. I've upgraded to Windows11, uninstalled using the special tool, reinstalled. Nothing helps.  It is extremely annoying and not worthy of Adobe.

The Acrobat Customization Wizard allows you to modify the start menu shortcuts.You can create new folders and shift where the shortcuts are created.But the rename option is greyed out.Is there anything I can do to be able to rename the shortcuts?Adobe Reader x64 defaults the name to Adobe Acrobat DC which I would like to change 

And I have tried every password imaginable. Can't open certain PDFs. How can I get around this? Since I am unable to open the PDF I can't go into Protect and turn off encryption. So now I havePDFs I can't open. Anyone know of a workaround?

Hello everyone, While I tried to open a file in Acrobat Reader I had an update warning and couldn't open the file, then I uninstalled the existing software and downloaded the new version from the website.Despite I always downloaded and installed this software  the same way, this time I got a warning message saying I already have the latest version of Acrobat reader and therefore the version I was trying to download is failed (I was trying to downlod the new version after I uninstalled the existing version).I would be pleased if anybody knows how to fix this problem..Best wishes..

When I want to mark something in Pdf it switches all the time to the function "to select". It is very annoying, is there a way to turn it of so that i can use the function "to mark" constant without it switching all the time? 

In desktop mode, we can jump to specific page when open a pdf from web browser.(e.g. https://www.adobe.com/jp/print/pdfs/preflight_low.pdf#page=4 )However, it does not work on Mobile App (Android / iOS).   It can download the pdf file but cannot jump to specific page. How to do the same for Mobile App?  

Hi,  Scrolling with finger on touchscreen in no longer available in my Dell XPS WIN11 laptop.  When you try scrolling it mealy highlights the text.I have re-installed Acrobat DC 64bit and restarted laptop several times.Any ideas?  thanks in advance. Dale

Hallo, ich verzweifel hier. Vor ein paar Wochen bin ich auf Win 11 gegangen. Immer wenn ich den Reader öffne, bekomme ich diese Fehlermeldung. Das Programm startet aber und funktioniert auch. Ich kann die Fehlermeldung wegklicken, sie kommt aber nach Minuten immer wieder. Auch, wenn das Programm nur im Hintergrund ausgeführt wird. Ich habe auch schon deinstalliert, den Adobe Cleaner genutzt. Als Admin neu installiert, immer das gleiche Bild... Hat jemand eine Idee? Das nervt leider sehr.

I received a PDF file that contains a font (DavidD) that did not embed.  When Reader opens the file it announces "Unable to find/create font DavidD" even though that font is installed in my computer.  How can I get Reader to recognize this installed font?Thanks for any assistance.--Howard

Hello. Can anyone tell me how to remove the "PIN or Digital ID" password when someone is trying to sign a pdf document? There is a p.12 certificate that is installed in one computer that comes with a password that is used only when it is installed only once, and in other computers it does no ask for the PIN or password when a document is about to be signed, only is this one, so i think there is some settings in Adobe that i need to change. Thank you for your replies.

Good day,I have the following problem: We are using the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, and we are also using Microsoft Outlook 365. When printing an email including attachments from Outlook, the attachments are unfortunately not printed. This is the system print, which is located in the print options of Outlook. With this, the attachments are automatically printed with the email. This had already worked after I disabled the Adobe's security settings. [Settings -> Security (advanced)]Unfortunately it hasn't worked for a week now.

Hello Comunity. I wonder if there is a way to make a PDF file after underling text when making a resume. I mean: I resume a document underling text, and then I create a new file with that text underlined. I aknowledge the answer.

Some how playing with my Adobe program I somehow told it to turn every file I download into a PDF file.  I don't want it to do that, I want the file I am downloading to remain as the original file not a PDF. Can anybody help me with this????

When attempting to open a .pdf using Adobe Reader, I get the following error on one PC only (at this stage). I've attempted to uninstall and re-install Adobe Reader but the same issue occurs once re-installed. Bonjour, avant la nouvelle version d'Acrobat Reader (ou le passage à à le MAC OS Monterey 12.6.8) sur mon Macbook pro, tout allait bien.Maintenant, avec mes documents PDF que j'utilise comme prompteur, il y a 2 problèmes :- après un cmd+L, le zoom avec 2 doigts n'est plus fluide (page noir puis enfin le zoom) et une barre de zoom apparait en bas à droite de l'écran.- le défilement par le biais de la pédale saute des pages et n'est plus calibré comme avant.J'ai cherché par le biais de "affichage" etc...Mais rien n'y fait.Merci de votre aide.

I have no idea how this happened, but it's the most frustrating thing when I use adobe reader primarily to read research papers that require selecting and highlighting text...my select tool has turned into a crosshair cursor and it won't change back to text selector when I hover over text. When I attempted to select with the crosshair it creates a blue box, which is no use to me. I have no idea how to change it back. I've even uninstalled the adobe reader software and reinstalled it. Is this a glitch with an update?...PLEASE HELP.
