Hello . . . Sometimes I have to work on PDF files.With the text in some files I have no problems: I can select it and modify it to my liking.In other files instead the modification is impossible: the selection extends for most of the page, sometimes in the shape of a cut egg, sometimes in the shape of a rectangle. Acrobat, once, when opening an image, it automatically started the conversion and after the conversion, the text that was previously part of an image, became immediately and totally editable. Now no longer. Why ?If I manually start the text recognition from "Scan and OCR", nothing changes! I found a solution: I export as an image, and - in the many ways offered by Acrobat - I open the image, or import it, or create it from a file, but the result is not flawless, it is not presentable, it looks like an acquisition from low resolution scanners, especially if compared to a successful acquisition. What's the explanation? Is there a more professional

Bonjour, J'utilise Adobe Acrobat Pro et de temps en temps je ne parviens pas à sauvegarder le fichier que j'ai commenté car le message d'erreur suivant apparait : Impossible d'enregistrer le document. Paramètre erroné.Ensuite le document devient tout blanc, impossible de l'enregistrer ailleurs. Tous les commentaires se trouvent perdus. Je suis sur le système Monterey et la plupart de mes fichiers sont stockés sur Icloud, faute de place. Il est possible que le document soit envoyé sur le cloud alors que je suis en train de travailler avec lui. Est ce que quelqu'un aurait rencontré le même problème ? 

I'm trying to Adobe Reader on MacOS 12.6.6 (21G646) After opening a file, it freezes and the only way to stop it is by either using Force Quit or, if started from the command line, use ctrl-c I have tried different PDF files and always have the same problem. Good afternoon.I have read the various threads and cannot seem to find an answer to my problem.I have scanned a file to PDF using a multifunction copier.The copier then emails the file to me.I then save it to my OneDrive folder.From there I attach it to our Accounting software for other users to be able to access.When I click on the file I can open it.Other users get the above error.I have tried printing to PDF and saving that, but with the same result.I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro version 2023.003.20201. 

I have a few users who cannot open certain pdfs with out it being gibberish, they can how ever open pdfs form other senders and the appear fine. I can open the pdfs that appear in gibberish for the user, and the pdf looks normal. I uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe reader and it worked for a little and now the user sees gibberish again. I am not sure what is changing in between that Adobe needs to keep being uninstalled.

HiPreviously there was an FTP server were you could download older versions of Acrobat Reader.The URL was: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/I can't reach that URL anymore. I don't know if  it is something wrong with my browser or if the link doesn't exist anymore. Does anyone know?

Hello,I had hoped to use Reader DC for reading course materials in school, but a critical issue is that every now and then (perhaps every 10th or 15th time I try to highlight) it freezes and crashes, usually losing everything since my last manual save but occasionally recovering some or all. Highlighter having issues seems to be a longstanding issue but I'm wondering if there's a fix. It happens across documents, but not in documents where Reader can recognize the text--in other words, it only happens when I'm drawing highlights freehand. Let me know if there's a fix or another product that would function properly.

Adobe will not recognize default email (outlook).  Default is already set on computer to outlook.  Have checked settings multiple times.  Need help.  Thanks

As the title says, I noticed the Default Zoom Level is Not Working in version 2019.008.20074.  I have gone to edit>preferences>>page display>Zoom to 100% and it's still opening documents at 175%.  Please fix Adobe!  This used to work before version 2019.

Hi Guys, I have an issue with my Abode Acrobat Reader DC with version (20.006.20042). Everytime when I opened a file, it can be readed normally but when I wish to copy the words from the PDF file. The PDF file corrupted just like the images below.It is fine when I was using Adobe Acrobat XI Pro to open the same file so it seems to only affecting Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. I had tried re-install the program and updated to the latest version. Even I used Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to open other PDF file, it's still the same problem. Anyone has the same issue with me? My laptop is running Windows 10.

Hello,I use a fillable PDF application form a grants program at work, and would like to convert the answers into an excel spreadsheet for easier comparison across applications. Is there a way for me to do this quickly without copying and pasting the information manually?Please note that the application form has places for long paragraph answers, so not sure if the same approach as converting a PDF data table into excel can be used.Thank you,Sarah

We have one user in a group of 9 who, when she opens certain PDF files, the fonts overlap and are garbled/unreadable.  This only happens on her computer.  Others can view the PDF without error.  She can even email the affected PDF to someone else and it views just fine on their computer. If anyone knows the cause, or especially a fix for her, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello all, Each time I open a PDF file, my screen turns unconfutable yellowish. To solve the problem, I tried: (1) uninstall and reinstall adobe reader (2) update my card video driver.Yesterday, I installed another similar adobe reader and the problem was completely solved. How can I come back to adobe acrobat reader, solving the yellowish screen?I appreciate any help.Regards

I had reviewed a file on one version of Adobe Reader and added several comments. I put the file on SharePoint and a colleague of mine tried to see the comments, but they did not show on her computer. I checked the file on my computer and it still had my comments. I decided to update my Adobe Reader, and after I did, my comments disappeared completely! Is there any way I can retrieve them?
