Acrobat Reader

Hello - Adobe Acrobat Reader 11 - Version 11.0.08I have a dozen users who are applying a dynamic stamp using keyboard shortcut "K" once initially setup. Process goes like this: open PDF doc > select dynamic stamp > save / exit > open new doc > press "K" (which inserts last used stamp) > save / exit. I have a user in which this function does not work - simply pressing "K" does not insert the last used stamp...any idea why and where does adobe pull the last used stamp info from and/or is it defaulted somewhere? Thanks in advance. 

When I have multiple documents open on adobe reader, and I want to switch to the adobe window, I have to first click on the adobe reader icon on the task bar, which opens a list of documents currently open on adobe reader, and then I have to click on the document I want to view.  Is there a way to set it so that when I click on the adobe reader icon, it immediately switches to the adobe program and to the active document (similar to switching to a browser)?  I would rather select the document I want using the tabs in the maximized window than have to squint at the thumbnails which my monitor doesn't have enough resolution to fully render at such a small size anyway.

I don't know what I have done, but some of my PDF files have no more a white background but a spotted one. Could you help me please?Anca

Hi,i have just updaed to the latest version which is now regret version 2023.001.20063 64bit.when i open a pdf it opens fine then a few seconds later the top of the windows disappears and and all the menu items also disappear. if i click on Home it comes back but a few seconds later is lost again.Can i get a download for a pervious version? clearly there is something wrong with the latest version. i am running Win11 and has not updated for some time so this IS a reader issue.As i open 50-70 pdf documents a day this is now critical.Mark

Hello! Experiencing issues with pages seemingly logically ordered, but not in the correct order anyways. This is the first (första) and last (sista) page of a 8 page document Then, pages 2 and 7 are shown.Lastly, these pages are also put in wrong order.  The issue occurs on all computers I've tried. Tried Windows and Mac. Any idea of what might be the issue and solution? 

Seit dem letzten Update funktioniert das Unterschreiben mit einer grahpischen Unterschrift nicht mehr. Die Unterschrift lässt sich farblich im Vorwege ändern, aber nachdem man sie im Schriftstück eingefügt hat, funktioniert keine weitere Aktion mehr. Die drei Felder (zwei zur Größenanpassung und eines zum Löschen) zur Bearbeitung sind inaktiv, ebenso wie das Verschieben oder Ändern von Größe oder Position. Das Dokument kann so abgespeichert werden, allerdings ohne das die größe der Unterschrift angepasst werden konnte, d.h. diese ist im Verhätnis zu groß (siehe Beispiel)     Stand der Adobe Acrobat Reader Version: Gibt es eine ander Möglichkeit die Größe der Unterschrift doch noch anzupassen ?

I'm filling out a grant application that has fillable fields with adjacent scroll bars. Everytime I save the document, to be shared, the pdf truncates the field. How do I save the document so the entire form field's content is viewable? Thank you!

Hello, I need to print a PDF my doctor sent me on my Mac. When I clicked on the button in her medical care program it automatically took me to Adobe (I *totally* don't want Adobe, and have begged for my unwanted subscription and payments to be cancelled, but that's another story).  There's now no way I can just download the pdf from her message to my computer downloads file like I could pre-Adobe.    When it opens in Adobe there are all kinds of buttons that say I can add comments, highlight it, etc, etc, but none that just say "File" or "Print." Surely these should be there? Where are they? How do I print this so I can take it to the blood lab?   Thanks from a frustrated  middle-aged user! I'm attached an image of the top of the page, but cut most out for confidentiality.   

How do I stop this message from displaying everytime I launch Acrobat. I did the trial, got the full version from a work source. This is on my personal home computer. I do not want the Pro version on this computer, I want the message to go away and continue to use the free version!!

I want to make my surrent secondary address the primary one.    When I try to modify the primary address field to the use the address that's the secondary one, there's an error 'Email already used' - I'm guessing that's because it's set as the secondary adddress.   Deleting the secondarry address it doesn't fix the problem.   Hoew should I make the change?  I'm going to lose access to the primary address in a couple of weeks so change tis is critical to my continuing to access the account.    Thanks

How do you combine multiple pdf files into one? I use to know how to complete this task. I think the newer, updated versions cause confusion. HELP!!

Hi All, I have a white bar image I need to copy about 150 times down the side of every odd page in my PDF. About 12 months ago, doing this with Acrobat was very easy - just insert the image, place it where I needed it, then control c to copy and move to the next page and control v to paste - and the white bar image would appear in the place I need it to be.  Now however when I try this the control v paste step puts the white bar image in the centre of the page.  Is there a way to copy an image and paste it in place on another page?  Any guidance appreciated!  

Hello,I have a problem with the cross references/links in PDFs.In the original document (PDF) the links work - no matter if I open it with Acrobat or any Reader. But as soon as I want to save only a part (page x to page xy) from it with the "Print as PDF" function, the links don't work anymore.How can I save only a part of a PDF and keep the cross-references/links? (The target of these links is of course in the corresponding part ...)Is there a possibility? Thanks in advance!

Initial view tab under document properties is missing in adobe reader, is it pro only feature or available for free users as well? If yes then how do I enable initial view tab in document properties, Thanks!

Tried to open an a 20 year old PDF. A pop up appeared questioning whether I am connected to the Internet since it cannot verify my subscription status. Shows a link to a connectivity guide which is non responsive. Now all my PDF files cannot be accessed for the same reason. Cannot figure out how to stop this pop up even though I am connected to the internet and can sign into my Adobe Account

For some reason, my Adobe Pro reader now displays super large icons and when I go into the menus, some of the content is off screen.  How do I change back to smaller icons so I can see everything in the window?

I recently upgraded to a new pc with Windows 10.  Since, I am no longer able to combine files and perform other tasks within Acrobat Reader DC, it now forces me to go to a website to perform this function.  This is not efficient for me, as many of the files I often need to combine do not need to be saved until they have been combined.  Performing this, and other, functions online requires me to save each individual file before combining.  Can someone please help???

i'm logged in to acrobat reader App on my laptop with my account and  i'm trying to sign on a pdf file, however once i'm clicking on the sign bottun, nothing happen.. the icon is with a color (not grayed out) but it is not letting me to sign.this issue happen after i switched to a new laptop, on my old laptop it is still working fineso i dont understand what is the issue.

Have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Continuous Release / Version 2018.011.20040. Want to add certain Comment Tools to Quick Tools but there is not a 'Customize Quick Tools' option in any drop down. There is a 'Hide Quick Tools' option. Add Sticky Note and Highlight Text are in Quick Tools. I can customize the Comment Toolbar but don't want that extra row or to have to add the toolbar every time I open the application.Thanks

Im using a 5 year old computer with windows 8.1. My problem is that im using adobe acrobat fill and sign for applications, now for some reason it was working before and now when i go to save as. the box is not coming up to save it. I unistalled it and reinstalled it and its still not working. I went onto youtube and did some changes like going to edit then preferences then showing online storage when opening and saving files and something else and its still not working. I did try to make it a default program but its not coming on the box to the left, now please someone help me with this matter cause this has been taking me hours and its not resolved and im trying to get these applications over and done with once and for all
