Hi! since the latest Acrobat Reader Update to "2022.00120169" 64Bit there is a bug in the comments function: in the German version, there are now two shortcuts with the button "E" in the list: in the past there was only "settings" (Eigenschaften), now there is also "set status" which responses first on the shortcut button E. I added a screenshot, when right clicking on comments. please fix!
Just installed Windows 10 fresh, ran windows updates and driver updates. Download Adobe Reader DC from Adobe’s site and the installer at the end says “Adobe Acrobat Reader DC: Installation complete” but has a red “x” icon next to the completed status bar instead of a green checkmark. No error message or anything of value that might help me determine what the problem is.
Experiencing issue. When going through the steps, an error message shows and I don't know why. Here is what the error message says: "User provisional in sign with different IMS profile" Thanks for any help with this issue. It was working fine before. Thanks,Fiona
Over the last several years of editing documents in Reader and Acrobat, I have adopted a habit (potentially in bad form) of hitting escape after writing a comment with the replace text tool to close the dialog window. However, in the last few weeks this has caused the typed text to be removed, which it has not done before, such that the edit is just an empty replace text note. Is it possible I have changed a setting somewhere? I suppose a solution would be to just unlearn this habit. In that case, is there a keyboard command to close the text input that retains the text?
It seems I have found my way to the autosave folder in (C:\Users\LENOVO\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\AutoSave) and got 121 temp files there but the problem I am facing is I can't open those files. every time I try to open a .temp file it prompts with an error saying, "It can't be open either it's not a supported file type or it is damaged). I tried renaming it, changing the extension and even changing location though I know it won't help :P. Does anyone know how to open it? It would save my hours and it was my college assignment -_- why you crash adobe why -_-
Hi, I have a customer whom creates encypted PDF files and encrypts them in SodaPDF (the default is 256bit AES encryption). When attempting to open the file with supplied/correct password Acrobat reader states it cannot decrypt the file.I can replicate the issue myself and have created a test file. The files opens in SodaPDF (duh) and also SumatraPDF fine but not Acrobat Reader.Changing the encryption in SodaPDF to 128bit AES works fine in all apps (sumatra, acrobat etc) Any reason why this is happening? Test file attached, password is Password1234 Many thanks,
Speaking about last Windows 11 preview before the open version next after tomorrow day. When I try to login in Acrobat, the login window opens but shows me a message that I must upgrade my operating system. On Windows 2019 server I get this message while trying to install the Adobe Reader DC 21.005.20048. The software is installed then and can be used without any issues. Any ideas?
With recent versions of Acrobat Reader, we found that when opening a document with certification signature (DocMDP signature), There is always the warning indicating "Changes have occurred. Click to validate the signatures" in the signature panel. Click it and then after revalidation the warning is gone.I have attached the PDF used for the screenshots below. This also happened on the "Signed Version" opened by right clicking on an already-validated and valid signature and choosing "View Signed Version". We have seen similiar discussions on the forum but could not find a solution or workaround to get rid of this warning. We have found some PDFs which do not have the warning at file opening but also shows the warning in "View Signed Version". Therefore we suspect that the root cause is in the validation process of Reader. In addition, we have not found this issue in PDFs that have no certification signature or have two or more signatures (which may include one c

Hello, When signing a document with a certificate, it gives the following error:Code error 2007Description: page content can change silentlyThe author of the document has activated image interpolation. I don't know allow image interpolations.
When I send, or anyone sends a document to be signed to one of my users, when she clicks to sign, it automatically fills in someone else's name. She has to click clear, and then type in her name. Where is this cache kept in Windows or MS Edge? She does not have Adobe installed on her PC or an Adobe account.

My application uses Windows accessibility API to access Google Chrome address bar. It works fine on most Windows 10 PCs, but on some PCs it can't get access to the window of the browser. Here is some details:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/909527/why-i-can39t-get-access-to-ui-elements-of-a-browse.htmlLong story short, it seems like Adobe Acrobat Reader alters system accessibility settings on its installation. And sometimes it breaks accessibility for other applications. It also makes other applications rely on Acrobat Reader files instead of system library when they use accessibility API and uninstallation of Acrobat Reader breaks accessibility too.1. Is that so?2. Is there a way to fix it? Maybe I can somehow reset system accessibility settings to default on the installation of my app?

Is there a way to change the default behavior of redaction annotations to have the entire text highlighted instead of just the outlines? My organization opens and reviews the document in sharepoint which makes the outlines barely visible.
Hi, has anyone solved this problem? When I try scrolling up and down in Adobe Reader on Mac OS 13 beta 3 (the latest version, on 11 June 2022), It's severely laggy, so I cannot concentrate on my work. Is it only my Macbook that has the problem? My Mac model is Macbook Air M1 basic model.

When Quicken 2008 is running, and I open Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (latest version - fresh install after using removal tool) I receive a Quicken for Windows error "Error: Could not load SkuMap"I've reviewed support for Quicken on this error, but it seems to not be related to Quicken and only being affected by Adobe. This only happens when having Adobe Acrobat Reader DC open while Quicken 2008 is open.It only started happening yesterday after adobe updated. No errors at all if Adobe is closed.Reinstalled ReaderRemoved the local and roaming Adobe folders and allowed app to recreate them.Used the cleanup utility to fully remove Reader.Uninstalled and reinstalled Quicken 2008Same error happens immediately when having both applications open at the same time. Selecting OK on the error makes it go away for a moment but it comes back and Adobe goes unresponsive.I have no idea how to fix this issue. Please help.
