I have a PDF file which contains links to other PDF files. For only one person / one computer, Adobe doesn't know what to do with the link. It displays the Microsoft "you will need a new app to open this" window, and there are no options. However, there are multiple apps installed that could open PDFs. When setting the file association within windows, they all show. The links work on that computer if you open the PDF with a browser or similar, just not from within Adobe.Links to other file types eg Word documents are working fine from Adobe. So it's only how Adobe decides to open PDF files that is broken. Anyone got any ideas please? I've tried the usual repairs / reinstalls.
Hello, we have a problem: with the MS Edge in the IE-mode with the Acrobat Reader DC Plugin the PDFs are blurred after exporting from SAP. With th Acrobat Reader 2017 this error doesn´t appear. But the problem is that the Acrobat Reader 2017 has no longer support. Does anybody has a solution for this problem? Thanks a lot.
its 3 days, when opening my PDF file I get an application error AcroRd32.exe and hence, can not print or do anything further. the pop up window then reads 0x341525c (sometimes this # is different) memory at 0x00000000 . The memory could not be read. How can this be fixed? I have uninstalled and re-insalled DC reader several times to no avail. Help please![Moved from non-technical Forum Lounge to Reader forum... I am continuing to get the below error - Any advice. I have stopped all payments as there is no way to contact support except this. I hope the Adobe support reads this and contacts me on for fixing the issue.

First of all, I am using Adobe Reader Version 2022.001.2014.2 in Windows 10.For several years I have used an app called "Get Fire Shot" for making screenshots and saving them as a pdf.I've never had a problem opening one of these saved pdf's and making comments until a couple of weeks ago.First it was the geometric figures that didn't work, i.e., circle, rectangle, straight line, etc. Now however, I cannot even make a comment on any of these pdf's without getting a popup message that says:"Adobe Acrobate does not allow connection to getfireshot.com". How do I fix this? I would love to revert back to a previous version of Adobe reader since this one has been nothing but trouble but cannot find out how to do that either. Adobe Reader, that used to work so well, and was so reliable, has turned into a convoluted mess of a nightmare.
I live in Turkey. I use an electronic ID device that runs on java. My computer is a macbook air and its operating system is monterey. Even though I enter the correct the pathway to add my electronic certificate on Preferences>Signatures>Digital IDs and Certificates>PKCS11 Modules, Adobe gives an error and says PCKS11 module cannot be installed. Older versions of adobe are able to install the module but the latest version gives this error. How can I solve this problem?
I have been involved in IT for over 25 years. This problem has been happening more and more lately when I download a PDF file, and I am extreemly confused by the answers I have been finding. I have seen many iterations of the Reader program and I feel that Reader has been the most trusted PDF reader since the PDF format was created by Adobe. I have had so many issues with web browsers displaying PDF files correctly that my practice is to always download the PDF files to my computer and then open them with Adobe Reader and yet, this problem is happening more and more. I have cleared my Internet cache files, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Adobe Reader program, and I have attempted to repair the Adobe Reader installation to no avail. The only thing I haven't done is to completely reload my operating system. Adobe Reader would not open several PDF files and the PDF files are from different sources. To test my theory, I uninstalled Adobe Reader and downloaded another popular reader

We are experiencing an issue when using the Attach to Email option in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC v20.006.20034.39303. When we use this and then attach 2 or more additional attachments the 3rd document is corrupt. It always has a size of 4kb. If you try to preview the 3rd attachment in Outlook the error states: This file cannot be previewed because of an error with the following previewer PDF Preview Handler. If you try to open it the error states: Adobe Acrobat Reader could not open "file.pdf" because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged. I have replicated the issue with Outlook 2016 and 2019. I can take the same three pdfs and attach them just through Outlook and they come through with no issues. I have uninstalled with Adobe Tools Cleaner, reinstalled, ran a repair, and tested on multiple computers. I have also removed anti-virus software but still having the same issue. As another test I i
Whenever I open documents, it doesn't matter if I already worked on them or not, they don't open with the default layout I saved in Acrobat Reader (single page continuous). This happens despite making sure the settings are right numerous times, which they are. It's mostly the continuous scrolling part which I almost always need to enable again through the toolbar.
Hola a todos. Hace unos días el Acrobat Reader no me funciona a la hora de imprimir, me pone que se está aplanando, pero nunca sale de este mensaje. Gracias
I am on a desktop iMac, it is 3 years old. I keep the OS up to date as well as adobe. For the last 2 years, my computer crashes at will. I've turned off automatically opening adobe when I login, yet it still tries to open. I've started using google chrome almost exclusively, as things seemed worse with Safari, but things are worse now than ever. I've looked at my own sleep settings. I do have a new printer, which works beautifully, and perhaps coincidentally the crashes are now several times a day rather than 1-2 times a week. I did unmount and remount adobe once, things seemed better but this didn't last. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thank you [Topic edited by moderator for clarity.]

I recently cleaned my laptop Win 10 OS thru tune-up and also thru windows disk clean up and defragmented my C drive and registry. Everything was fine but now I'm unable to open PDF thru adobe reader although PDFs are being opened with other readers Eg. Edge, Nitro. It keeps displaying this error (screenshot attached) and doesn't make any sense. How can I resolve it? I uninstalled deleted Adobe folders from Local, Roaming, and program files restarted and reinstalled even tried checking in compatibility Win 8 and run as administrator. Still no luck.
Im seeing the Acrobat is starting to move to 64bit version of the product and I see that its available on the regular download page but I'm not seeing anything about 64bit on the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution download page. With the x64 enterprise download be coming at a later time?
Ho 2 file pdf di indirizzi, come faccio ad unirli in unico file ordinati per cap (codice avviamento postale) grazie.
I have a fairly length PDF created from a Word document. In Word, I can set up in "read mode" so that the text fits the width of the page (Alt+2) and I can suppress the headers and footers by double-clicking in the gap between any footer and the header of the next page. This makes the document scroll like one long page. I can do it one better by changing to Draft mode. That gets rid of the headers, footers, and margins and in one. I cannot figure out how to do something similar in Acrobat Reader DC. I can get it to scroll without respect to the pages by pressing Ctrl+2, but the margins, headers, and footers are still visible. I can switch to Read Mode (Ctrl+h), but then it also switches to full screen and removes everything including the bookmark map on the left. And that also screws up the window size when I cancel it (Esc or Ctrl+h). Is there any way to make the Reader show the document in a read mode similar to what I can get in Word? I just checked and I have th
Finally able to open downloaded pdf when opened directly from Adobe Reader. But then... when trying to attach/submit the filled-up form, the same dialogue comes back up. Adobe reader version is not latest. How do I resolve this??
Hello, we have Citrix servers where Reader DC is installed. I was spending time checking the processes running on the server and there were many, many instances of RdrCEF.exe running. After doing some research on this process I'm still not clear on what it does. Is it used for Reader updates? Is it used for syncing cloud services? Maybe both? Different posts say different things. Either way, we update Reader through other means and we do not need the cloud service, so we do not need or want RdrCEF running. I've searched and searched, but cannot find anything about how to stop this process from running other than renaming the .exe file.I saw this post below where other people were complaining about it on Citrix servers too, but there was nothing in there about stopping RdrCEF from running. RdrCEF high cpu usage I have implemented these registry keys, but RdrCEF.exe still runs. Am I missing other registry keys to stop the RdrCEF
Good day,I'm having a problem with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC; it displays forms fine until a user clicks to fill it in then the page goes corrupt. It happens to every form, not just one. I've done a scan of Windows to make sure there were no viruses / malware, all the Windows system files are intact and not corrupt (sfc /SCANNOW), and I've used the Microsoft uninstall tool to completely uninstall and reinstall Reader fresh. I've also tried some of the other fixes I've seen online (e.g. - select/deselect local fonts, etc.). None of that has worked to fix this. Below is a screenshot example of what keeps happening. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Hi Team, I am trying to sign some documents with my Token on my Mac and I keep getting the same error: Adobe does not recognize my Token. Can you provide some assistance, please? Thanks.
