Acrobat Reader

Dear Network I have Adobe Acrobat Pro DV bought by my company but I cant edit or export pdf. The pop up widow shows then and want me to upgrade my plan "upgrade now".  What is the issue?Regards 

When certain members of our team open Adobe Reader it also opens a blank screen with Adobe borders that is visually similar to the sign in screen. This imediately closes and then re-opens repeatedly until they select the close window button at which point this window remains closed and they can use Adobe Reader as normal. Please can you advise on how to stop this from showing? We have tried re-installing Adobe Reader which has no effect and this is only occuring with some team members. Also it happens regardless of whether you open Adobe Reader from a PDF in File Explorer or just open Reader by itself.

I have a Microsoft Surface Pro X with an ARM processor running Windows 11. I can download and install Adobe Reader, but the program does not open after the installer completes.  I double click to open the app, and it just goes to the spinning blue circle cursor and never opens. I can see the adobe icon on the taskbar, but I can't right-click to close, and it never opens. I have to go into the task manager and kill the task. I've installed using the installer, and using Windows Marketplace. I've tried all of the emulation compatibility settings.  Adobe Reader runs fine on this Surface Pro X on Windows 10, it doesn't work on Windows 11.  Any guidance is appreciated.

hi there, i need help. i download pdfs and save them on my desktop folder. i then comment using the adobe acrobat reader. i used to be able to save these documents under the same name as the original downloaded copy (and replace the orgininal downloaded item). now it says i cant do that, now i have to go into save as and then it comes up with a random title (usually just jumbled letters). It does this every time i try to save my updated comments on the same document.     [Question moved to the correct forum by Moderator]

Hello. I want to print a PDF file with a virtual printer, when I chose printing, i want to print whit a virual PDF printer but it doesnt give it to me as an oppourtinity. can anybody help me what can be a problem?

I am trying to install Adobe reader via intune using the latest version donwloaded as an exe. I got in touch with adobe support who gave a link to an aritcle outlining the switches for the install of adobe reader but for the msi. How can i get the msi and can the complete install and uninstall command sbe provided please?

I was using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2019. Everything was working fine. Whenever i launch any PDF files rdrcef.exe was not running (in task manager). Now i updated this with April 2022 patch update. Now whenever i launch any pdf, rdrcef.exe process is starting and consumes around 50-60% of the CPU.  I do not have any requirement for Adobe to connect to any cloud or even to the internet.  How do i stop this rdrcef.exe from running? Below are my PC details:OS - Windows 10 64bitAdobe version - 2022.001.20117 (April 12 2022 update)

In recent months I find that every now and then I am asked to log into the Adobe account while using DC Reader, why is that?

When changing direction in scrolling there seems to be a lag or someething where I need to scroll two positions in the desired direction for the page to actually move. Once I'm scrolling in the desired direction it only takes one scroll wheel postition to cause a change. For instance: if im on set on full page mode I can scroll down and each scroll wheel position/click will change the page but when I go to scroll back up the first positionchange/click does nothing and then the second one will change to the previous page. This is minor but annoying. I dont remember this being the case ever before, maybe a weird update or new setting? is there anyway to fix this?

HELP! Suddenly I can not print my PDF documents. Every time I click print, the PDF automatically closes. I am using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the problem persists.

Hello Community, i have a really big problem with the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2022.001.20117.The newest ADMX Files for the Management i could find in "ftp.adobe.com" are from 2015.When using those ADMX files in the goup policy the Reader compleatly ignores the policy.Using "gpresult -r" i can see that the group policy is used by the Computer. As soon as i open Adobe Acrobat Reader i get a splash screen (wich i disabled in the Policys) and in "Options - Security - extended"the Secure Mode on Startup is activated. Wich i also disabled! Its driving me crazy and i can't import any PDFs in our ERP System. Thats a huge issue for the Company and the Support won't help because it's just the Reader DC. Does Anyone have newer ADMX Files or any idea what registry Keys i can Use to disable all Messages, the Security Mode on Startup and the Splash Screen? It would really help me!

I am unable to unzip a large PDF file on my iphone.  I have unzipped it on my computer.   The topographical maps are too large to transfer to my iphone, so downloaded zipped file to phone.Anyone know the best app to extract files on my phone? Thank you

HiI found these instructions on the web on how to attach a file to a PDF document, however, when i get to step 3 (underlined in the instructions below)  "Click the "Add" button at the top pof the attachment navigation panel to open the "Add Attchment" dialog box.I do not see an "Add" button available. I am using acrobat pro 2020 dc(OS:Win 10) for 3d-pdf.I tried below things to disable 3d measure tool. There is no problem when opening 3d pdf file in acrobat pro dc.how-to-disable-3d-measure-tool However, just only 3d measure tool is visible in acrobat reader dc even though I protected file at pro dc.Please help me to solve this problem. 

Users do not have admin rights, yet Adobe Reader is somehow upgrading to Acrobat Pro. Causing all users to not be able to open PDFs.How do I stop this upgrading? - Absolutely unacceptable by Adobe.

My computer crashed, now on a new one but my pdf's come up differently.  I cannot find the snapshot tool anywhere.  There is a tool bar at the top of the pdf but no snapshot.  Any ideas?

How can I set the default paper size for printing to A4 ? (Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 64-bit, Win 10). It's pretty boring having to go to 'Properties' and use the pull-down menu for every new use of Acrobat Reader. And even worse it I forget and the size comes out wrong.

I need advice with a real person. I want to spend money now!! I would like professional advice. Not ai and videos. I might spend a lot if a human sales specialist could suggest solutions to my ignorance to the proper product, upgrades and what they prefer from their personal experience.  Yes I realize that your customer service will be open tomorrow.  I  wrongly assumed a human being would be available.   O well, I think I will look for alternative solutions. we have a large number of pdf portfolios that have separate folders within them that contain year specific files. The folders in those portfolios can no longer be viewed with Acrobat DC or Reader DC on my computer that created the portfolios using Acrobat XI Pro.  we neglected to convert the portfolios before flash player stopped working. Others who only have Reader DC on their computers can view the folders within the portfolios but those that need to work with them cannot.We uninstalled Flash player and repaired the installations for Reader DC and Acrobat DC but they still cannot be viewed. 

I have a new PDF document that is editable. I am able to open it once, click "Save As", rename it, and continue editing it.  When I continue to make edits and attempt to save it again, it changes the file to a .tmp.  This file cannot be edited or saved and disappears once I close it.  If I go back to my documents to open the previous "saved as" file it says that file is not able to be opened and the document vanishes.   Please help!
