Acrobat Reader

We use a PDF document with over 100 pages and several chapters. I would like to create a contents page at the beginning, so readers can simply click on the chapter or section we are discussing without having to scroll through the whole document.  Is there a quick and easy way to do this?  Or would I have to create the whole document from the start again?  Do I need a different version of Adobe Acrobat? Any help at all would be useful, thanksJude

 I pulled two documents into Adobe so I could read them and print them. I still am not that familiar with Adobe, so I touched an icon above the documents. It looked like a light shining on a desk. After I did that, a smaller screen popped up that is all white, and only the red button is available--not the yellow or green. Also, I cannot do ANYTHING!! All of the possibles under each heading are faded. NOTHING works. And the red button does NOT get rid of the smaller white screen. HELP!! Everything is frozen. More help, please. Why can't I undo touching that icon??

Hi, I've been recently trying to load a multimedia file within a pdf. However when I open my file in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, I get this notification saying "To view the Flash technology content in this PDF file, please install the required version of Flash Player" So I went to install the latest version Adobe Flash Player 26 however I still keep getting the same notification. My friends who are using older versions of flash player are able to load the file while i'm unable to load it. Is there any way to resolve this issue or is there something else which needs to be configured?P.S. I've tried this on both Windows 8 and Mac and both give me the same result as well.

WE have several computers where the mail icon is blank. WE reverted a few to an older version but when they get the last update the issue retuns,  seem to happen when update 21.007.20095 is instaled   

Hello,  I am trying to transfer my signature from an old laptob to a new laptop.  I have "Exported" and Downlaoded the File via "Digital ID and Trusted Certifcate Settings" on my old computer.  I have the file downlaoded as 3 file types: "cer" "fdf" and "p7c". I am on a Mac... I tried all 3 to see if one would work...I now have it under Trusted Certficates but the certifcate is "not trusted". There I cannot use the info to Sign documents. Can someone please share how to "isse by a trust anchor" and how to ensure the certifcate is trusted.Thanks!  

I have a MacBook Pro and have been using abode reader for a while now. But recently whenever I open up adobe reader it starts to overheat my machine and the exhaust starts like crazy. I think it might be related to an update it had recently.

The acorbat reader had a different way to highlight text, where I can highlight as well as use it as a pen to write somehwere else in the page, back in India. But sadly, it is more restrictive and I can only higligth the selected text with the the tool in Canada. Why is it different in both the countries?

I have tried evrything on the troubleshooting printing page, but nothing has worked. Whenever I print using adobe acrobat reader dc, to a paper size that is not 8.5x11, it says that the file could not be printed and it doesn't print. It doesn't matter what printer I select, and I can print to other paper sizes just fine using other programs. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

I updated Adobe Acrobat Reader DC today but now I can't send any emails. The share button greys out  and I am unable to do anything because the right side of the screen goes white.

When the user goes to press the mail button on the top right of adobe the mail box goes white. Not allowing the user to choose any options.

I am an editor who occasionally works on PDFs via the Comment function. It used to be that I could just start typing to insert text at the cursor, or select text and start typing to replace it, or backspace to delete text, and so on. Today, all of a sudden, I cannot do this—I have to go up to the toolbar and click on the buttons. Suffice it to say, this is majorly slowing me down. I am on macOS 11.6; Acrobat Reader says it is up to date (v 2021.007.20096). Is there some way to restore this functionality?

Hello,Currently I'm having an issue with Adobe Reader, at first it wasn't allowing me to save as an Adobe pdf. It would tell me the license was expired, so I tried to download another version. Now I no longer have the option to save as an Adobe PDF, that option is just completely gone. I tried doing a repair install as well.

Each time I open a pdf (not one, all of them), it opens above the screen view. I'm constantly having to resize each pdf and cannot acces File, Edit, View, Close Out ("X"), etc. without resizing. If I resize and then save the file, it will move the file back above the window screen. It's not a preference change and I don't want to open documents in Reader, I need to edit them. Can someone create a fix for this? I see I'm not the only person having this issue, but none of the "work arounds" listed fix the issue.  Top of the screen looks like this: 

I am using original windows 10, adobe reader DC on my PC is crashing with in 5 seconds after launch. Please help. I have tried all the methods thats I could find in the forums. I am facing this same issue in few other computers as well.  

Hello, Can I install only Adobe Acrobat DC without installing Adobe Creative Cloud ? My another computer is very slow with all Creative Cloud background process. Thank you.

When I try to print a PDF that has comments on it and select "Summarize comments" it cuts the PDF off on the left hand side so you can't read it.It didn't do this before and has only done it since the update.

Me gustaría saber si es posible abrir todos los hipervínculos de golpe o automáticamente o si hay alguna manera de extraer todas las direcciones de los hipervínculos.¡Muchas gracias!

When starting adobe the sign in box below displays about 10 times flashing different names up, this started after Adobe Photoshop 2021 on customers PCThe User is also unable to click Sign In button once Reader has displayed.Definately connected to the internet, not that they are bothered about sign in just want the dialog above to not come up. Removing and reinstalling Adobe Reader made no difference. 

wenn ich "speichern unter" anklicke erscheint nicht mehr der Verzeichnisbaum, wie im Datei-Explorer, sondern nur noch die Zeile  "Dateiname", dort muß ich mich bis zum Zielverzeichnis von einem Verzeichnis zum nächsten weiterklicken, bis ich am Ende die Datei speichern kann.Wie kann man das ändern?

I have a form that looks much better when the blue text form field highlights are turned off. I have been able to turn them off in the Acrobat Reader Mac app, but cannot yet find a way to turn them off when viewing the PDF in the Acrobat Reader iphone app. Could be wishful thinking that this even exists... 🙂
