Hello and TIA. My daughter needed to have the reader for a work proect last night.I was unable to install it on her Asus Windows laptop. Every time I download it (unchecked McAfee), it Finished and nothing happened. When I returned to the Adbobe webpage it said it failed. Called and spoke to support (They are not supposed to talk to non subscription sw users) and she provided me with a Cleaner tool. Used it and tried agin. Nothing. I have tried at leasr 8 times since last night. She needs this to work for tonight. I am beside myself. Using Windwos 10 Home with Chrome (and  clicked to add the Chrome Extension to the download).

Hi, I have used Acrobat DC to create a form that people can download on my website and then customize. The idea for them is to add their first/last name and upload their picture. I have inserted the corresponding fields on the form but when people download it, they face several issues:- nothing happens when clicking on the image field (it works on Acrobat DC)- the first/last name fields appear differently according to the navigator used (it is even cut on Mac computers).Anyone could help on this?Thanks in advance !  

HI there,  we have an issue, our end user bought adobe redaer pro, we send order on ADOBE and end user receve email to download it but unfurtunaly redaer is not connect to user profile.  SOS !  many thanks  chris.  

I am running the current version of adobe and am on Windows 10 20h2. This is a new computer that replaced an older Windows 7 machine. When inside Outlook (2019, 32-bit), I click Preview PDF and get the error "This file cannot be previewed because of an error with the following previewer: PDF Preview Handler" In Windows Explorer it just states "This file cannot be previewed" I have already confirmed "Show preview handlers in preview pane" is enabled in View Options in Windows, inside Adobe I have confirmed Adobe is the default PDF Handler, have checked "Enable PDF Thumbnail Previews in Windows Explorer", disabled "Enbable Protected Mode at startup" and "Enable Enhanced Security" is off. I have repaired the installation of Adobe, tried an older version of adobe, run Outlook in Safe Mode, confirmed the registry entry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Classes\CLSID\{DC6EFB56-9CFA-464D-8880-44885D7DC193} and  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\

HiI have added Danish voices in Windows 10. But I do not get the opportunity to choose a Danish voice in Reader DC.I have also checked text to speech function in Windows 10, but here I am unable to add further language.Is there anyone who can help me further? Or does Reader DC reading out loud function only work with English language? Best regards,Henrik 

Toda vez que faço algum realce no texto uma nota adesiva é aberta autoticamente. Já tentei de todas as formas e não consigo desabilitar isso. Alguém pode me ensinar como desabilitar? Essa abertura automatica atrapalha mt a leitura do texto. 

Hi, We have custom code which listens to Publish event and parses contents of dam asset. We are using tika parser(AutoDetectParser). It detects and parses asset based on the asset MIME type. We are getting below error when we parse contents of word document. When I upgraded my Adobe, everything changed to PDF. All of my icons on my desktop are PDF.  How can I change back?. I do not want to have to go through the laborious task of convertibg each and every one of my documents back to word.  HELP!!

Hello all, I have created a PDF with a video. It is an .mp4 (H.264) video. Once by embedding the video directly in the PDF and once via a url. On the Mac, both variants can be played with Acrobat Reader DC and Adobe Acrobat DC without any problems. On a Windows PC (Windows 10), both variants can only be played in Adobe Acrobat DC. In Acrobat Reader DC, I only have sound with the embedded video and nothing is played with the video via the url. In addition, the navigation for starting, stopping and pausing the video is missing on the Windows PC in Acrobat Reader DC and with Adobe Acrobat DC. Does anyone have an idea what this could be? Many thanks for the supportNadine

We use Reader DC as final stage of digital report generation, for signing. After latest update we notice there is a feature which tries to open older PDF's from a previous session. Turning the option off does not prevent a pop up message asking to do the same. This is causing problems for our report macro since mirror copies of Reader are now often open in background.First point is that this seems to be slightly random in that sometimes it does open a file and other times it fails to open (and shows yet another pop up msg), so it is hard to create error handling. Second, the obvious question is why would anyone want this feature? It serves no logical purpose.Please Adobe: could you make it possible to completely dsiable this feature, and disable all associated pop up messages. 

Hi,I downloaded the newest Adobe Reader DC free version on the PC and I can't find option to star file.I can find this option in browser but not on app on PC. I had to reinstall program because fill & sign tool gone rouge and suddenly started writing in greek alphabet (which I coudn't repair or change). I really liked starred files option and I missing it. In previous versions it was avaliable. Why it is gone now?

Hello, Recently we've had users complaining of getting a pop-up when trying to open PDF's our of our banking software. The PDF's are being generated from a software called Episys Quest and I believe that program uses Symform PDF specifically to generate the PDF files (I could be wrong on the Symform part though.) We are running Windows 10 Version 1903 OS Build 18362.1139 along with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2020.013.20064. The problem has been occuring for aproxmately a week and the only thing we've changed internally recently is we switched everyone's default browser from Internet Explorer 11 to Microsoft Edge (Chrome Edition). I've read other people stating that this error is caused from Protected Mode being enabled, but we push out a registry key that disables Protected Mode in Adobe for all of our users as this was a requirement from the Vendor we get the Episys Quest software from. Guys, you can clearly see it is not smoothy. Hard to read,also tried to zoom in but nothing changes. I drag that file to google chrome and it is very clear and readeble. Dunno why it happens on adobe acrobat reader app. Waiting for your helps ty.

I tried a free trial of Acrobat Reader.  It then destroyed the installed version on my Mac.  Now I cannot edit a PDF file as I could before - unless, apparently, I subscribe to a newer online version.  IS THIS TRUE?  If so, why was I not warned before trying the trial?

Hello, I'm preparing form in Adobe and:1. I am wondering if it is possible to add drop-down list with autofill, for example: I choose "ABCD" in drop-down list and Adobe autofill previously choosen fields from date base (for example Excel). 2. How can I highlight (invisible for printers) boxes to fill ? 3. Date box doesn't work in my Adobe :(, when I chose it, it works as normal text box to fill 4. Is it possible to add something from one box? For example I have two boxes to fill: in one box I write: 01.02.2021 and in another box I want to autofill it automatically dd-1.mm.yy+1 so in that case: 31.01.2022  

As the title states when I launch Adobe Reader it crashes on protected PDFs after enabling all features. I am on version 21.5.20048.43252 of adobe reader DC. If I run it as admin it opens no problem but this is not a feasible solution since we have hundreds of users in our organization. I was able to pinpoint the plugin in particular that is causing it to crash. It is the checkers.api plugin in c:\program files(x86)\adobe\acrobat reader DC\reader\plug_ins. Please note this did not start happening until we updated to the latest reader. PC specs:Windows 10 Pro build: 19042.1052Latest Windows 10 update is 2021-06 so I have the most recent updatesDell Latitude 5400 

HelloI have the next situation in my organization in witch I hope that someone can help me.- Workstations with Windows10 x64 enterprise and internet filtered by proxyIn Adobe Reader DC(2015.023.20070) when a person try to open a hyperlink from the document the reader becomes "Not responding" for more than 30 seconds and after that appears the Security Warning windows with Allow/Block/Cancel .I think that the reader is trying to validate the link somehow or something else witch generate this delay.I hope than someone can help me in this situation.My Best regards,Ionut

Hello, my issus is that we have Adobe installed on various computers and it works fine on most of them, execpt the one where it needs to work. Opening a PDF on this computer  provides a document full of changed fonts, those fonts are also used when the document is printed.Opening the same documents on another computer Adobe Acrobat displays the document correctly and also prints the document as it should. Is there a setting for a default font?

During the setup of  Acrobat Reader  the crapware "McAfee Safe connect" was downloaded and installed too.  There was no way to decline.  I think it is a disrespectful and pushy way to promote partnerships with other software companies.   Why don´t ask questions during the setup process and give people the possibility to choose what to be installed ?Another thing I am displeased with the lack of a setup screen to choose the driver on which I want to install Acrobat Reader.   It was installed on  a SSD drive C:\ , which I am trying to save space because is a 500 Gigabyte device and I have a 2nd nearly empty 2 terabytes disk.
