Acrobat Reader

Unfamiliar with adobe, I have a form with text entries about demographics(name, dob, etc.) How do I get my form to autopopulate the same text information when entered in one box to the rest of the form? I'm working from a mac which is also new for me, so I would appreciate any advice, or help. Thanks!

Need Help !!!  I accidently blocked a website i was suppose to submit my forms too and I don't know how to unblock it so i am able to send the forms to the place. anyone know how to fix this issue ???

While using Adobe Reader (2021.001.20140 - just updated to make sure) I'm getting the "If this message is not eventually replaced by the proper contents of the document, your PDF viewer may not be able to display this type of document." error when opening a particular file that was emailed to us directly, from a bank.   When I go to open the document, I first get:...Then I get the "If this message is not eventually replaced by the proper contents of the document, your PDF viewer may not be able to display this type of document." error. I tried to open with all popular browsers (Chrome, Chromium Edge, Firefox) and got the same error. I can open the document using a competitor's software just fine.  I attempted to Save-As from there, and tried to open the new file in Adobe Reader, and I received the same error. What can be done to allow me to open this file with Adobe Reader?  This is extremely frustrating. Cheers 

Hi, new to adobe reader.During my studies, I need to write summerise to large books I view on PDF.I like using links to refernce specific pages in my summery.However i can't seem to be able to create a link to specific page, when using Acrobat-Reader.For example, for file "example.pdf" (attached) saved in "C:\Users\Documents", the following file URL will open page 3 in Microsoft Edge: "file:\\\C:\Users\Documents\example.pdf#page=3",but in reader will return:"There was an error opening this document. The filename, directory name or volume lable is incorrect".It seems Reader can't open file URLs, and path is not enough to link to page.Anything i should do diffrently, or any known workaround?Thank you! (sorry for English & grammer mistakes, not my native language)

Since the installation of ver. 21.001.20135, on 2/9/2021, Acrobat Reader DC has been unable to open pdf files in my OneDrive Personal Vault.  Reader can open pdfs copied to my PC and my other pdf program can open files in the Personal Vault.  (My PC runs Win 10 Pro, ver. 20H2, build 19042.746.)  I am thinking this is a bug in the new Reader version.  Any suggestions would be welcomed.  Thanks. 

Hi,I have searched, but can't find anything that helps. When trying to fill out fields in downloaded pdf's from different organizations, the font size initially looks normal and I can fill in all fields with a regular size font in the browser. As soon as I try to print or save, the font size changes to a ridiculous "super"-size, and the text runs out of the fields/can't be read anymore. If I open the pdf in adobe acrobat reader to fill it in, the text size is normal as long as I am in the field typing, when I jump to the next field the same phenomenon happens, the previously normal text size changes to the super-size (the largest font the field can hold height-wise, it seems).Happens with any pdf with a fillable text field from any source (not self-created).I'd really appreciate any help. HiI have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader on my Windows 10 pc, and I use Outlook 2016When I open a PDF file and click on the Email icon on the top, I then click on attachments and then it already has selected Outlook as email client and then finally it opens new email showing the pdf attachment.My question is, is there anyway to make emailing a pdf file faster without each time selecting outlook as email client to use?I did check in Preferences-Email that Outlook was already selected as default email clientThis issue started with updating to this newest version of Adobe reader, I did not have this issue on the previous version of Adobe Acrobat reader. Hi ,First I install version 11 and then 9.5 but , I wanna updated the version into dc new version,I used windows 8, I already download offliner of DC version and 9.5 old version, but whenI uninstall version 9.5 and install DC version, there is a message of 1722 error.I follow instruction from YT, but when I open folder program data of Adobe, there is stillcontaining 9.5 version, if you click Acro, if will run 9.5 version not DC version like demoin YT. I try also command prompt MSI and DISM.exe but not worked, I try also downloadupdate of windows 8 from adobe support community, download succeed, but when you tryto click it, but Installer countered an error 0x80070422. Please help, I am tired and Adobereader DC installment really a night mare for me.

while installing adobe acrobat reader it shows the message newer version already installed.

Dyanmic stamps aren't publishing for our Acrobat Reader users. They input the stamp, click publish, and close the document. When they reopen the document (or another user reopens the document) there is no dynamic stamp shown, but it does say the user had one comment.  Can anyone help with this? 

Hi, We use encrypted documents with video's in it. Is there a way to disable the function  'save embedded file to disk', so that the video can only be watched but not saved on the hard disk of the client? 

Hey everyone, I'm using Acrobat Reader to fill out a workbook which has text box's to answer my questions. After typing my awnswer I'm trying to use the scroll bar to view more of my writing but it doesn't move. Hope someone is able to help me solve this problem.

I have Adobe Reader XI running on Windows 10.  When I send a file to the printer, the top lines of my page (ie, 1040 tax return form), are blacked out, if I am in edit mode,  or just missing if I open the file up directly.  My printer is and HP8600. I can't figure out how to get around it. I don't see anything like this when sending other documents to the printer.

Someone sent me a PDF that I was filling out. Everything was working great until (I think) I signed the document. Then I saved the doc and reopened it and I could no longer modify any of the text. The editable fields used to be blue and now they are white. It is a very long form (107 pages) therefore I don't want to re-enter everything. Assuming that signing the doc made it uneditable afterwards, how do I remove the signature? In general - how can I make the doc editable again?  Thanks in advance! Mike

Hello,we have a really weird issue in our firm. Acrobat Reader DC and acrobat only can't handle some of our invoices in PDF files. Google Chrome or Edge working completely fine.   Instead of normal text, we are getting something like in the attachment.  The problem is with one of our domain accounts. - When I switch to local admin and opens the same file in Acrobat Reader, everything is fine.  - When I open the same file on the domain account, on a different PC the same file in Acrobat Reader, everything is fine.   The version we running is: 2019.008.20071 What we did:- reinstall (didn't help)- delete the profile and log in again (help for a while) - format (obviously help for a while too)- install a lot of fonts (didn't help)- tried to compare setting on the computer where it works (The are the same, still nothing)  Thank You in advance.  

Hi, I would like to cancel my account and I do not believe you should charge me a fee for cancelling.Your product is not giving me the quality of service I expected to receive when I signed up.Each time I try to use the product it sends me to a Free Trial page and takes me through a time-wasting and frustrating process that costs me focus on my work.This is the second time I am complaining about this.I am surprised that a company of the calibre of Adobe should have such a lousy log-in process. Each time you want to use the product to Edit or Convert PDFs send me to a Free Trial Page and asks me to go through a new Free Trial subscription, then after I get to sign in, it repeats the same thing.I have not bee able to use the product more than twice in the 2 months I have paid subscriptions, yet I work with PDF format files every day. This is simply unacceptable!

Hi, We have this printer in our main office a Konica Minolta Biz hub c284 e and one of the features used when sending a print job is to user User Authentication to track the printing for various department.This feature seems to work fine in other products like Microsoft Office but with Adobe Reader whenever printing a job it would straight away send the print job to the printer. In Office it would prompt a pop up to include a code before sending the print job. Is there a way to fix this issue?

I have a form to track different people.  I want to hide the additional information page until the user clicks a button and then that page will show and be fillable.  Is this Possible?

This doesnt seem to make sense, I randomly have this option dissapearing from one time to the other, why is that happening? Does anyone have similiar experience? 

I know the latest version of Acrobat reader is installed  (I get the message that the latest version is already intalled when I try to download/install.Acrobat reader.)  But nothing happens when I try to open pdf files.  They won't open. 

Hi all, Is there a way in Adobe Acrobat PDF to force the link / action (open file) to open new file and close existing rather than having the new file open in a new tab?

just receive pdf files from bank for the income tax.trying printing it on my imac, its printing without any boxes filled. if i try on a windows machine, all is ok.. what the problem ? Thanks
