Acrobat Reader

I am using Adobe Reader and all of a sudden when I try to convert a Microsoft PowerPoint to a PDF I am getting a message that says: I can only do 1 PDF conversion per month or upgrade to professional! I've been using Adobe Reader for years and never seen this before. Anyone have any ideas?

Hallo liebe Community,ich habe ein Problem mit dem Drucken von schreibgeschützten PDF Unterlagen mit dem FileOpen Plugin. Über Adobe Acrobat Reader DC lassen sich die Dateien zwar mittels eines Passworts öffnen, allerdings lassen sich die Dokumente dann nicht drucken. In den Sicherheitseinstellungen wurde das Drucken von den Autoren genehmigt. Unter Rücksprache mit den berechtigten Autoren, handelt es sich dabei um ein Problem bei Adobe: ,, momentan haben leider alle Personen, die Apple-PCs nutzen und das neueste Update des Betriebssystems gemacht haben, Probleme beim Drucken der Unterlagen. Es steht ein Update von Adobe aus, das auf die Änderungen bei MacOS reagiert ...'' Laut Adobe besteht allerdings kein Fehler.Auch Apple konnte mir nicht weiterhelfen. Woran könnte das liegen ? 

Since the latest version was release, I have experienced issues with saving PDF documents.  I fell like I am forced to save a second version of the file just to save it.  As an example, today, I just wanted to password protect a document for viewing.  There were no changes to the document information, so in my opinion, I should just be able to protect the document.  I had to first do a 'Save As' and create a new file and only after that could I save.  So now I have 2 files with different names.  I have to then go back and delete the original file and rename my new password protected file.  This is highly inefficient. Does Adobe consult user groups and test actual functionality of the software before implementing this?  If you are ever looking for individuals to do the test run, I would gladly volunteer.   I was close to requesting our I.T. department remove Adobe and install BlueBeam due to my frustation using the softwar

Salve ho appena acquistato il piano per usufruire dell'Assistente IA, che ho trovato molto utile.Dopo aver chiuso l'applicazione ed averla riaperta, però, non mi appare più il solito menu dedicato e quindi non riesco ad usufruire del servizio al momento.E' capitato ad altri? Bonjour, j'ai créé une signature électronique dans adobe acrobat version gratuite et on ne m'a pas demandé de créer un mot de passe.Lorsque je vais dans "signer électroniquement" j'ai beau appuyer sur la croix rien n'y fait ma signature est toujours là; Et je ne peut pas ajouter une nouvelle signature.Une réponse Merci d'avance

I have A4 files (pdfs and docs) and I need to save them as A5. But I need not only the paper size, but also the content to be shrinked to fit A5 properly. I was trying both from adobe reader and ms word. When I just change the size to from A4 to A5 in Word, content obviously gets cut. I would like the content to get smaller and look on A5 exactly how it looks on A4, just being two times smaller.This has nothing to do with printing two pages per sheet on A4. Margins are completely different and for printing purposes I need to have separate files formatted in two different sizes.I literally would like to keep the whole look of my documents, but just change the paper size to A5. So I need everything (content and pages) to be two times smaller.How could I achieve this?

when I send a pdf doc  in whatsapp the contents of the document is already visible (see photo) that I do not want or at least I find it inappropriate. How can this be repaired ?

When I have Acrobat Reader opened but one other app, the Acrobat Reader's cursor keeps overwriting my original one. For example, when I chose the hand tool on Acrobat Reader and switched to a Chrome window, the cursor icon of the hand tool overwrites my cursor so it still shows the hand tool wherever I move it. Also, its window likes to pop up to the second layer—that is, when there are several windows in front of it, sometimes it suddenly jumps to the front except still behind the first window that I'm on. Is this a setting problem or a glitch?

HiI've received architectural drawings in PDF format, the scale on the drawing is listed as 1:100 on A1 size paper. I'm trying to take measurements using the measurement tool in Adobe Acrabat Reader DC, but after changing the Change Scale Ratio and Precision option to 1:100, I'm getting obviously wrong results. I've noticed that in the bottom left corner of the screen it shows '11.68 x 8.26 in' which, if represents the page size, isn't A1 paper size. Is this something to do with my issue? Any advice would be appreciated.

I am unable to open Reader on Win 11.  PDFs from Outlook also will not open.  I have searched high and low for a solution, but none have worked.  Reinstalling, cleaner utility, deleting left over install files, compatibility mode, Outlook Trust settings, and so on.I can launch it as Admin by selecting ‘Open with Protection mode disabled’.  But if I turn the feature off in Readers preferences it still does not open unless I launch it using admin.Any ideas?

Hi,I am using Open Source library PDFBox to create PDF Document. In my document I have few pages in portrait orientation and a few in landscape orientation. Is there a setting available on PDF document that when it is sent to printer, it always prints my document in duplex/2-sided and binding is always on the long edge, regardless of the orientation?Thank you!

I am trying to put several photos on one .pdf, but I need them to get larger for the viewer when they mouseover the image.  Is this possible?

Whenever I install (i.e. also when I update) Adobe Reader on my Windows system I end up with a bunch of continuously running background processes: "Acrobat Update Service" and "Acrobat Collaboration Synchronizer".I don't want these programs to run on my system! I am regularly checking for updates myself (using a different tool) and I have no intentions to use any Adobe collaboration features, so both are useless to me and only enlarge my system's attack-surface (something for which Adobe has quite an unfamous history). So, how do I get *permanently* rid of these processes, i.e. ideally also across re-installations?

The receiver cannot sign or edit my document and yet all the settings on my side are fine

I recently installed PDF Gear and all of a sudden when sharing files from Adobe, they are sending as links instead of PDF attachments within Outlook.  I do not have Always Sent Files as a link checked in my Adobe settings.  I just uninstalled PDF Gear and it did not correct the problem.  I am reading it might be an add-in, but I don't know which one to disable.

Buenos días:Actualmente, en dos ordenadores distintos, tengo instalados correctamente 3 certificados digitales de la FNMT. Uno de ellos lo instalé en septiembre de 2022 y los otros dos hace dos días, en octubre de 2022. Cuando instalé el primer certificado, fui a Adobe Reader para actualizar la lista de certificados para poder firmar correctamente cualquier PDF. Para ello, fue a "Edición" y a "Preferencias. Allí fui a "Administrador de confianza" pulsé en "Actualizar" en el apartado de "Actualizaciones automáticas de la Unión Europea Truted Listed EUTL". Después de hacer este proceso, procedí a comprobar si podía firmar un documento PDF. Podía hacerlo puesto que cuando prodecía a realizar la firma me aparecía una ventana para poder seleccionar la firma digital que tenía instalada. Esto lo realicé en ambos ordenadores y hasta aquí todo correcto. Este mes he instaladado dos certificados digitales más en ambos ordenadores. Para que Adobe Reader reconozca los dos certificado

Quiero cancelar Adobe Reader porque es un producto increiblemente defectuoso que me acaba de borrar un índice completo  que hice durante horas con la opcion de marcadores, y se supone que aún así debo permanecer suscrita de manera forzada hasta cumplir el año o pagarles? Váyanse a la M, deberían pagarme uds a mí por hacerme perder mi tiempo. 

Hello,I am trying to solve issue with Adobe Reader and signing pdf by certificate that is occuring for 2 users in my company.Issue:When trying to add signature with certificate, "Sign" button doesn't do anything. I have a user running Windows 10, Adobe Reader DC.  When he tries to open a .pdf from a network drive he gets the following error:  "There was an error opening this document.  Bad file handle"  He can move it to his pc locally and open, and we are able to open web documents.   I have tried doing a repair, remove and install, and switching the default app to edge and back again and have been unable to fix.  Any help is appreciated.

I selected "Fill and sign" on a W-4 document. I was able to fill in everything but the date. It isn't allowing me to do this. Any ideas for a solution?

Hi there. I have an excel file of inventory that I'd like to put into an adobe PDF form. I've named all of the data categories exactly how they appear on the form and I've changed to file format to a text tab deliminated text file. When I try to import this data into the form I get the error message, "could not load data from the text file." Additionally, even when the data begins to work and it shows a list of all the data I get an error message saying "some data in the text file was not imported successfully" and the form remains blank. I really need assistance automating this process as I have hundreds of forms to complete. I'm not sure if this is a factor in my issue, but I am only filling out some of the forms on the data sheet and am leaving others blank. I have tried creating a txt file with all of the categories and put in information to see if that was the issue but I still got an error message.

PDF viewer does NOT work in windows explorer and it is driving me absolutely insane. I have tried every single thing in this page (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader-discussions/the-new-version-fails-to-generate-thumbnail-for-explorer/td-p/11824293) to try and correct the problem and none of them worked. browsing my multitudes of pdf files by name alone is maddening. I need this feature to work, please advise.

Hola buen día, para que la tipografía aparezca con ese icono o letra roja,  y no aparezca de la otra manera, es porque es una tipografía que descargue? tendría que comprar la tipografía? o solo es cuestión del programa de origen, me ayudan? necesito que aparezca igual, ya que realizo modificaciones en el archivo.

Hola a todosTengo un problema con ADOBE READER Siempre he usado la versión gratuita de adobe READER sin problema, lo uso para resaltar subrayar y hacer comentarios. Accedo a mis documentos desde ONE DRIVE y GOOGLE DIRVE, y estaba guardando perfecto lo que subrayaba o resaltaba, sin embargo hasta el día de ayer no aparece mis comentarios o las palabras subrayadas o resaltadas en todos los documentos en los que lo había hecho. Necesito ayuda, necesito recuperarlos Al darle guardar una copia aparece error al guardar y no permite guardar en ONE DRIVE y GOOGLE DRIVE. Ya lo desinstalé y volveré a instalar pero el error persiste. Por favor alguien que me ayude a saber si estos documentos se perdieron para siempre o si hay alguna forma de recuperarlosMuchas gracias
