Hi,We have some software written in Go (including the FDPF library) that generates PDFs.This usually works well, but not for the file attached to this message. It can be opened in Firefox, evince and Chromium, but not in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.The used template (feeded into the software) already contained some texts, but they were outlined as objects.Properties of the template:Please find the template also attached to this post. Properties of the resulting pdf: Exact error message when opening this file:There was an error processing a page. There was a problem reading this document (110): Can someone maybe see where the problem lies? Please let me know if you need more info to help to clarify this issue. Thanks in favor!
No puedo abrir dos pdf distintos en distintas ventanas.Los abre en una misma ventana y hay que ir cambiando de uno a otro.Tengo dos pantallas en el ordenador y me es muy útil poder abrir cada documento en una pantalla.
Dear Adobe,Me and my colleagues have already made a vote. We hate the new icon for PDF files. We know, "hate" is a strong word for it, but that is what we feel right now. It's white, ugly and I get enraged when I see it. It creates confusion in all my files, like all my documents have been misplaced and I cannot find an order in them. Why did you had to change it? What was wrong with the previous one?The red color was more characteristic with the product and I was finding it more related.... that this ghost icon. (argh!!!!!)Is there any other way I can switch it back? I really really really hate it.Thank you!
Hi, We faced an issue where user is unable to open password protected PDF via Adobe Acrobat in Android device. Meanwhile we had tested opening the PDF via desktop & IOS Adobe Acrobat and able to open it as expected. We had tested with various Android devices including vivo, Samsung, google pixel and etc. The behavior is as below:1. When user open the PDF via Adobe Acrobat Reader app2. Adobe Acrobat will prompt the password input field3. Entering correct password and proceed4. App will return error msg - password is incorrect (using same password in desktop acrobat and able to open without any issue) Below are the details/specs when we generating the encrypted PDF:By default, encryption version 4 using AES with 128 bit key length is used for PDF 1.X, encryption version 5 is the most recent encryption method. It uses AES with a 256 bit key length and is only supported in PDF 2.0.We have tested and both PDF versions are unable to be opened in Android Acrobat
I just set up a new computer for myself. Lenovo ThinkCentre M920q. I have Adobe Reader DC installed. It is the default app for pdf's. I am trying to print to a Toshiba eStudio 3005C copier. On my old computer, if I had multiple pdf's to print, I could open my printer queue, highlight all the pdf's I wanted to print, then drag and drop them into the queue.I can still drag and drop and I get the message from Reader asking if I'm sure I want to print multiple pdf's, but they don't print.Any help will be appreciated. Once a week I have 20 - 30 pdf's that I download at one time and have to print. It's so much faster and easier to drag and drop than to open each one a print them separately.TIA.
I cannot open a pdf either from harddrive files or online.Acrobat Reader will not open instead displaying a error panel titled "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\Acrobat Reader"message is: "Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files 9x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRd32.exe'.I have "Repaired installation". Completely Uninstalled Acrobat Reader; Re-installed Acrobat Reader from Adobe multiple timesObviously there is an error in the registry but I haven't a clue since repair, uninstall and reinstall achieves nothing

I have an Apple (I don't know that it makes a difference in this case though), and all of a sudden Adobe Reader DC started making me log in to view anything and now it keeps logging me out automatically every day. This is very obnoxious. I am not even trying to view a PDF file and yet it makes me log in. I need it for school or I'd just delete the whole program. Is there a way to fix this?

A colleague has shared a pdf document with me through onedrive so that I can make edits. When I attempt to open the file through the link sent to me in Outlook, I receive the following error message in internet browser and the file doesn't open: Please wait... If this message is not eventually replaced by the proper contents of the document, your PDF viewer may not be able to display this type of document. You can upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Reader for Windows®, Mac, or Linux® by visiting http://www.adobe.com/go/reader_download. For more assistance with Adobe Reader visit http://www.adobe.com/go/acrreader. We have the latest version downloaded. I can download the pdf file and open the file but this defeats the purpose of sharing through onedrive and not having to worry about managing different versions. Would love to get this working I'm constently being sent pdfs to edit through onedrive. Thank you.
Hello everyone!I have a problem opening .pdf files by double-clicking them in Total Commander. Adobe Reader starts in the background, but doesn't open the document.Otherwise, I can open files just fine.ceThank you in advance for any suggestions.
Hi, I have read on the forums almost the same issue but instead of printing the pdf from chrome or a browser, this is just by opening the PDF file from explorer.double-clicking the PDF file, Adobe Reader DC opens, Print and it prompts me to save as. I am a Window 10 user. Even in the print dialog box, the print to file is nowhere to be found, I also click the Advanced section, to look for "PrintFile" n/a.For now, I right click the PDF file, and choose Open With -> and I choose Microsoft Edge, then print it from there.
Hello I have an issue, I don,t know how to save my pdf file directly into my pc, in my document carpet instead on the cloud.Could anyone help me??,?Thanks in advanced
Hi All, Posting here on behalf of a colleague, their icons for pdfs have updated this morning and are now just a white outline, they have dragged a file to their desktop to capture the attached screenshot. Last week it was the regular white and red icon with the Adobe logo, does anyone know why this has changed or how to change it back? Thanks in advance
I am trying to make the Adobe Acrobat plugin for Google Chrome the default PDF viewer when opening PDF's in Chrome. I've already got the Chrome setting set to "Open PDFs in Chrome" but specifically, I want to use the Adobe Acrobat extension and NOT the built in Chrome PDF viewer. Does anyone know of a way to do this?
hello community 🙂I would like to change a parameter in acrobat reader version. 2024.003.20180 do you have an address to download recent admx? Do you think it is possible to deactivate the new interface (version) of Acrobat Reader via these admx? it's annoying, it freezes a lot with the new version, we have to push : Désactivate the new version of A R a big thank you
Hi All!I teach math at college level, and create most of my material with LaTeX -> ... -> pdf. LaTeX has a package that allows me to insert links to other parts of the same document. For example, when my text refers to an earlier Example or a Theorem, I can make that reference clickable. Those clickable links still work, but for the life of me I can no longer find the back button! Imagine I'm lecturing, and I get the vibe that students need to see what exactly Theorem 3.47 said. I can click that all right, but I obviously want to then continue from where I was.I used to have a pdf reader (most likely from Adobe) that let me do exactly that. How is this done with the current version? I would gladly tell you the version number, but I cannot locate the "About" item from its menus.Cheers,Jyrki
While I was working on something, keyboard presses were completely normal but then my kitten walked across my keyboard and now... Ctrl zooms out.Enter scrolls down.Shift scrolls up. Nothing else is being pressed or used in conjunction with these buttom presses. Did my kitten press a function key that messed everything up?
Adobe Reader "Reading the File..." delays under Windows 11 with 64 GB Sdram installedand a setting of the Maximum Cache Size to 20000 MB, should not occur. However these delays occur repeatedly and it does not appear as ifAdobe Reader ever allocates any more than around 2 GB of Sdram for itself, according to Windows Task Manager. Most of my PDF files are on an external USB HDD and I assume that Windows 11is correctly turning off the HDD when it is idle.Adobe Reader is precipitating these delays and causing the External HDDto be turned on regularly and wastefully because Adobe Reader is notmaintaining a complete copy of each PDF file in the 64GB of Memory.(maybe 8 files at a time, many of which are 100MB to 300MB long.)Adobe Reader should implement a Memory Display feature, to displayexactly how much memory it has allocated from Windows 11,and how that memory is distributed between the PDFs which are open.
Dears,I have noticed for the last 14 days or so that PDF files open very slowly on my computer, so that if I click twice on a file that is saved on OneDrive, it opens in about 15-20 seconds. The problem is the same when the file is placed on the desktop or anywhere else.I don't have this problem on another PC.What could it be, how can I fix this problem? This is a very annoying issue when dealing with a PC in an office where PDF files are worked with constantly and over and over again on a daily basis.Thank you.
Merci.
How do I return to a free Adobe Reader account? It seemed I had to purchase an Adobe account in order to convert a pdf to a Word text, but I have never had to do this before in nearly 30 years of academic research, and I don't foresee having to do it again. So--I want to cancel that account (still w/in 14 days), and return to an Adobe Free reader account. How do I do that? I'm trying to cancel the "Export" account, so that I get reimbursed for the $24.9X and do NOT get charged every year for a service I will not use. I'm retired now, and I can't afford to have recurring payments like this pile up on me. -- HELP. Wendy L. Johnson
