I want to change the sort order for my comments on pdfs in adobe acrobat reader. The options are to sort by page, date, author, etc. but I can't find a way to change from ascending order to descending order. I want to see the latest comments first, so the order should be "Newest to Oldest". Does anyone know how to do this? The document is fairly large and 300+ pages, and I'm using it to study, so I need to access whatever I wrote last quickly and it's not ideal to scroll through the file each time, because I use the comment feature to write my study notes. Latest comments need to be shown first. Thanks
Hello, All our company's computers are showing error message "Insufficient data for an image" with some pdf files after updating Acrobat Reader to version 24.002.20759. As a result of this error some images are not displayed in the document. There are no problems when using Acrobat Reader 24.001.20615 or Chrome/Edge. This page did not help: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/insufficient-data-image.html There is probably a bug in version 24.002.20759. I can share a sample pdf file if it would help solve the issue. Please help with this problem.

Recently, Adobe keeps making changes to Acrobat that are not wanted nor are they helpful. First they forced a new User Interface on us, but only after the fact did they tell us we could disable it! Now, without me changing anything Adobe (I assume through the miracle of un-asked for updates) removed the plus/minus (+/-) zoom buttons from my menu bar. I asked in this discussion group how to get them back, but the so-called Adobe expert has twice now provided advice that doesn't work. Why does Adobe keep f_cking with us, making unwanted, and often unnecessary changes? It seems some people there are desperate to keep their jobs and show their worth by ascribing to the 'write new updates or perish' credo, which may insure them a paycheck, but at the expense of screwing us over.
This is a bug about displaying images generated using matplotlib in Python. In a very specific scenario, where the linewidth is 0, linestyle is not solid and marker is not None, the saved images are not displayed properly in Acrobat Reader. Sometimes, there will also be a message pop-up saying "An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem". After changing the linewidth from 0 to some finite number and changing linestyle from "dashed" to "none", the problem is gone. Since the images are displayed properly in Chrome or Edge, I suspect that this is a problem of Acrobat reader. The reason this occurs could be because Acrobat reader is trying to display lines that are infinitely thin and something goes wrong when doing calculation of the spacing of the dashes on the line. Hallo, ich habe ein PDF-Formuar mit einfachen Summenberechnungen ersatellt. Diese funktionieren auch im 1. Schritt einwandfrei. Ändert man aber einen der Werte, änerdert sich die Gesamtsumme erst, wenn man das daruntrerliegende Feld (Datumsfesld) beschreibt. Woran kann dies liegen? In der Erstnutzung funktioniert wie gesagt alles ohne Probleme. Danke schon mal für die Unterstützung!
We have received few PDF files having rotation as 90 degree, when we try to change back the rotation to 0 degree without actually rotating the file, the size of the pdf is increasing to almost double, initally it was 53kb and now it is 106 kb.Kindly help me with any kind of solution.
I purchased a PDF eBook that continuously provides content updates throughout the year. Every time the content is updated I download an updated version of the eBook PDF. I initially entered comments and highlights to the original PDF but now that I have several updated versions of the same PDF I am looking for a way to move/migrate the comments I made in the original file into the updated versions of the PDF eBook. Someone suggested the following product by Evermap but it is very expensive. I have two computers that reset all the preferences when restarted. For example I set up the comments pane to not open when comments are present but the next document opened the comments pane opens and the setting to changed back to ticked off. I set up the quick tools with our preferences and they revert back to the default on the next open. Windows 10, Adobe Acrobat Standard, up to date.
I would like to inverse the pan directions in Acrobat Reader. e.g. pan the same way that you pan in AutoCAD.
Olá, pessoal Estou com um problema chato no Adobe reader, versão básica para PC. O programa fecha sozinho do nada após algum tempo de uso (2 ou 3 horas). O fechamento geralmente ocorre ao tentar utilizar alguma função básica, por exemplo o ctrl+f (pesquisar) ou grifo e anotação. Eu trabalho com pelo menos três textos pdf abertos, além do word e o navegador edge com algumas abas abertas. Sou pesquisadora e utilizo o programa para leituras. Cheguei desinstalar, limpar os arquivos e reinstalar experimentando a versão pro, mas o problema permaneceu. O erro acabou de ocorrer enquanto trabalhava de madrugada e tem me atrapalhado demais!Sei que não é um uso leve, mas também não é pesado, trata-se de um uso profissional esperado. E não parece se problema de perfomance do computador, os demais programas não apresentam erro. Meu notebook é o lenovo gaming 3i com 16gb de ram emd ual channel e ssd nvme. Alguém já teve e solucionou este problema?
Good afternoon I have a computer that is generating a crash report when closing Adobe Acrobat.This occurs when a pdf of opened and then closed. (no editing of the document occurs, no changes)The document can be opened from an email in outlook, locally from storage or from a cloud based database, this issue will still occur. Hi everyone,a couple of months ago I bought an annual plan for Adobe Export PDF. I need it for work, to convert .pdf files to .xlsx. The problem is the conversion is really inaccurate. Usually the app fails to recognize rows and columns properly. Unfortunately I can't show you with pics (or, if there is a way I can't find it)The result is that the excel conversion is unusable to me, unless I waste a lot of time to normalize the data, aligning them to the right cells.So the question: is there a way to give some parameters to the conversion? Can I draw some kind of line (for example as default columns) in the .pdf in order to help the app converting the files the way I would like them to be converted? I'm working on a service agreement that is contains several fillable text boxes that I fill out for each agreement. Once I have it completed, I am sending for e-signature through Acrobat. Once I click the "Request E-signatures" and it brings it up to specify where to sign, all fillable text boxes are empty. I have saved the file with the text and reopened and the text is still in the boxes. I tried to send again after reopening and same thing, once it gets to where I specify where to sign, the text is cleared again.

I am using Acrobat Reader 2024.002.20736 (64Bit) on Win10 to "Fill and Sign" an Australian Tax Office (ATO) Company Tax Return PDF. The ATO requires that the filled text fields be in B:ACK. And indeed they are in black as seen on the screen.But printing to my Brother MFC-L3760CDW the added filled-in Black text always prints the same colour as surrounding nearby (fixed) text, an orange colour. Other Black objects on the page (e.g. bar-code) print black okay, just not the Fill & Sign textI have tried multiple options in the print screens, cannot get it to print the added field text black as it appears on the screen. Any ideas ?
Bonjour, Dans Acrobat Reader, impossible pour moi depuis plusieurs semaine de faire en sorte que les nouveaux fichiers pdf ouverts ne s'ouvrent dans une nouvelle fenêtre. Ils 'souvrent automatiquement dans un nouvel onglet, et c'est embêtant car si je ferme la fenêtre cela ferme tout les onglets... J'ai tenter de désinstaller et réinstaller sans succès, j'ai également été dans les préférences où d'après l'aide il faut trouver l'option "ouvrir les documents comme de nouveaux onglets dans la même fenêtre (redémarrage requis)" afin de la décocher.Voici la capture d'écran de l'aide adobe ou la ligne apparaît : hors cette option n'est pas présente dans mes préférences, il y à une ligne blanche vide là où elle devrait apparaître ! Voila la capture d'écran de mes préférences où la ligne n'apparaît pas... Je vous remercie par avance de vos retours, en espérant que vous puissiez trouver une solution à mon problème...

I have created a self signed digital id using openssl. After creating this id it couldnt attached to adobe acrobat reader. always showing this error. I have double checked the password for the digital id and pretty sure that password is correct. Further i created digital id using adobe itself and there is no error showing. But my problem is the digital id created by adode have more validity like 5 years and i found out that it cannot be reduced by any means while creating it. Thats Y i created using openssl with reduced validity but that file cannot be attached to adobe and getting the specified error.Question 1 : is there any way to reduce the validity period of the digital id created by adobe ?Question 2 : is there any solution for the error which is getting when i try to add the digital id created by openssl ?
Hi, When I am using checkbox I am not able to see text behind checkbox when button is checked. Is there any way, how to make own custom checkbox appearance, for example circle ️ that is not filled, so I will be able to read text behind it? Hello, since the last version of Adobe Acrobat Reader 2024.002.20759 we have the same problem as back then with the update 2021.011.20039. Documents scanned in color with JPEG2000 can no longer be opened with Adobe Reader. Error: not enough data for an image. The documents can be opened with MS Edge [moderator corrected html formatting errors]
