Acrobat Reader Mobile

I am experiencing what I think may be a new feature, but possibly not, when you open a .pdf and update it, then using the back button exit the .pdf which auto saves it, when you next select on the same .pdf it somehow opens the original unedited version but as a new document with a number in front of the .pdf, e.g. 2.pdf, each time you update and save the .pdf and open it again a new file is opened. - Is this the correct/expected operation - I am expecting to open the same/updated document each time not the original unedited version, can this 'new' feature be switched off? - From reading other Q&A's I think this is being seen by other users but they are assuming that updates to the .pdf did not save as they are presented with a blank/original .pdf when they re-open the .pdf following a save.

Is there any reason why Adobe Acrobat Reader version 18.01.22 on iPhone 5S iOS 11.2.5 is failing to update?My phone is able to otherwise update other apps

Since the last update, Acrobat reader always asks me to create a local copy to save changes made after I went to consult another app or define a word in a web browser, even though I was already working on a local copy of that doc. So, I have to close the app in order to keep working on the doc with all the comments and highlights, when I do that I choose the option local at he top of the screen, the select the doc I need and have to highlight again the last ones cause the app did not save them.before the last update this error did not happen. Can you please tell me how to fix it?i have an iPad with 9.3.5 iOS and the Adobe Acrobat reader 18.01.15thanks

Hello dear members!Since some days I'm trying to create some nice PDF with forms.Form fields should have default values and would be editable.Many things tried, but I'm still have some big troubles on Android (on Windows PC it works).1. Problem - after opening a document, default value is not visible.2. Value is visible after click in filed, it is editable, but after release of this field the value visibility is gone.3. Appearance looks totally different on Andoid and PCI play a little and found out, on Windows PC theycan looks nearly same, if NeedAppearances is false or by some other gimmicks.So maybe it is only problem with appearance streams (either if /DA is used on annotation widget) on Acrobat Reader for Android?P.S. because I can change every piece of creating software (it's completelly under my control) I can do absolutelly everything in order to solve this problem.On PC is Acrobat Reader DC is installed, on Android the current actual version from Playstore.Some other question

I am wondering if there is an option to enable moving with two fingers (scrolling or zooming,..) while adding handwritten notes to a pdf in Adobe reader on android. It is kind of annoying when I start writing and run out of space, that I have to close the pencil tool, then scroll/zoom/navigate through the page and then open the pencil tool again to continue may notes.Is there a chance for an improvement update?

Auto save feature not working on my iPhone. Because it won’t save it also doesn’t allow me to upload or attach the pdf with my changes to email or cloud storage. Is a fix coming soon?!?!

Hallo zusammen,ich habe folgendes Problem:Ich habe ein ausfüllbares PDF-Formular für mich und meine Kollegen erstellt. Damit dies im Original (im unausgefüllten Zustand) zur Mehrfachnutzung erhalten bleibt habe ich ihm auf meinem PC-Arbeitsplatz das Attribut "schreibgeschützt" verpasst. Das funktioniert auch auf meinem PC-Arbeitsplatz wunderbar. Wenn ich das Formular dort ausfülle und speichern will (bzw. den Reader verlassen will), wird mir "speichern unter" angeboten und ein neuer Dateiname verlangt. Beim gleichen Dateinamen wird der Schreibschutz erkannt. So soll es sein.Das Formular soll aber hauptsächlich auf mobilen (Android-) Geräten benutzt werden. Da wird aber beim Verlassen des Readers das Formular mit dem ausgefüllten Formular überschrieben. Der Schreibschutz scheint da nicht zu interessieren.Wie erreiche ich den selben Effekt wie beim PC-Arbeitsplatz?Grüße Jörg

Adobe Acrobat reader help options are ridiculous. I can't figure out how to find specific answers for my questions. All the available options listed do not contain my questions. Adobe Acrobat reader needs to add a better search options?!?!?

We have multiple people who are trying to send documents through the IOS App. The issue is when they send through email as a Flattened Copy or an Original. The email will show up blank. If you select Open with email. It will still show up blank once the email is sent. The person receiving the email also receives a blank email with no document. This happens when we send the files through the Native Mail App and the Gmail App.

Hello,I could use some help. I am working on editable pdf files on an iPad mini, the files were created on an iMac. I have had no problems for a long time until recently, and now I am having problems saving files. The first time, I was all done with a report after 2 1/2 hours of work and it had been saving just fine. Until I went to print and I got an error message and it wiped my file clean of all my work. Now I am having difficulty saving. Sometimes it saves, sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't, I loose whatever I did since it last saved. I have had to resort to saving after every sentence. I have tried downloading the original template file I made and still the same. I have tried a different template and the same. So it does not seem to be the files themselves. I  believe I have the latest version on the iPad because I could not find anything allowing me to update. I work in the field and can't have this happen. Please any help would be appreciated!  Thank you.

I am using the latest version of Reader from Appstore on an iPad, and since the update we are having issues where the pdf when sharing, using flattened copy, send via email, the PDF isnt attaching itself to the email ?  I am seeing this quite alot not since the update last week, as we have 12 engineers out on the road who send us files everyday.  It seems very intermittant, so its not everytime, is anybody else seeing this ?  Is there a work around, or are Adobe aware so an update patch can be issued ?Thanks Phil

Just out of curiosity, why, all of the sudden, can I no longer save fillable PDFs to my cloud? I was able to last month, now when I went to add my contact info to my company’s new Watkins digital Catalogs, and went to save it to my cloud, I get: “An error occurred Saving to cloud.” How can this be fixed? They are set to allow them to be filled out. I was able to fill them out, but it wouldn’t save the filler out PDF.

everytime I create text it just shifts down A few spaces on the entire document. Only does it when I email or save the pdf

Recently adob asking me to creat a local copy during saving a highlight anything in the document... it cut off my space in I pad, i wanna know how to get rid of this thing...

Hey you all,my iPad pro 12,9'' cannot open pdf files. When I select the file, which is supposed to be opened, the select screen disapperas (as normal), but after that the app does nothing. The file was not opened and I am back looking at the start/ home screen of the app at the list of files, which were opened at last.I hope that somebody maight help me.ThanksKilian

I've distributed a form and would like for the recipients to be able to submit the completed form back to me from the iOS app. No matter what I try though, it's not working. Any advice would be appreciated.

is there a way to restore what I had in adobe export PDF? I accidentally deleted it off my iPad and now when I go back into it what was in local is no longer in local 

HiI am a newcomer to using Acrobat Reader DC on my Android tablet.I followed screen prompts and saved a local copy of a pdf file in order to be able to add comments. I then selected the Share icon to send the annotated file to a colleague via Gmail. But the file he received did not include the comments I had added. Am I doing something wrong?Thanks for any advice you can offer

The Adobe Reader Android app frequently loses all writing after pressing the blue checkmark. If I try writing notes again, the second attempt will usually succeed.

Tengo un libro guardado en este app Adobe en mi ipad, por error borre dos doc que decian respaldo y era del libro. Ahora que abro el libro porque aun me aparece en el app cuando carga me sale que esta vacio. Que puedo hacer para restaurarlo?
