I want to convert text to outline.Step 1: add wartermark.Step 2: flatten transparency.I can't find a function that can flatten transparency.

I have recently inherited a system that uses AdobeForms to collect data, the system has been untouched for 12 months. I now have 1812 emails sitting in an inbox - each one with a response pdf attached.Is there any other way to export the data to the response file, other than clicking on each file individually? The response file is already set up and in use.I am ok with batch scripting and have a development background although I have never worked with javascript.If someone can point me in the right direction I would be grateful.Thanks,R

Using Adobe Acrobat DC - Create PDF Firefox extension Add-on (as well happens using Chrome extension) gives this errorI tried using different web pages.Also happens when I tried to combine several files and one of them is a web page file (url or local file).it stopped working. I was using this extension for more than a week.Other times gives this error.Best regards.

I want to make  pdf automatically fill the first date for next monday. example: now is monday 8/14/2017, the date fill with this date, but if i make timesheet tomorrow, (tuesday 8/15/2017) the first date will show next monday date (8/21/2017). Hi,I've got a simple function that I have added to the 'DocumentJavascripts' in Acrobat in order to change the style of a field.  I know that for a single field, I can use the 'blur' and 'focus' triggers to run it. I save a PDF into an Oracle BLOB Object in C#.net using ODP.  I read the data into an OracleBlob object using pdf.pdfDoc = (dr.IsDBNull(1)) ? null : dr.GetOracleBlob(1);How do I view this object so that it looks like a PDF??

Im new to javascript and have no idea what I am doing. Im making a form which, when a check box is marked, requires another field to be filled. In my screenshot, there is a check box if a person was referred by a doctor. I want to require the name and phone number of the doctor if the check box is checked. I have been looking around the forums but I don't seem to be able to find an answer to my question. Im certain someone knows how to help me with all of this great knowledge in the forum. I appreciate your help. Please keep in mind, javascript is NOT a forte.

In illustrator, i can create outline for text.How should I do the same in Acrobat SDK?

I created a template in Scribus and added pdf forms fields before saving it as a pdf. I then opened the pdf in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 and entered the following scripts in my percentage fields, but neither worked.if(event.value == 0 | event.value = "") event.value = "";if( Number(event.value) == 0) event.value = "";I entered each on their own, but neither worked. I also tried entering them in the "Run custom validation script:" and "Custom Calculation Script" sections and neither worked. Currently, my form will print out "0.00%" when no value is inputted into said fields. I want the fields to print blank if no value is entered. Any help is highly appreciated, thanks!

I cannot seem to delete pdf files under windows 10

I already have a custom calculation script setup but I wanted to fix it a bit. var v1 = Number(this.getField("NMS").value);  var v2 = Number(this.getField("CMS").value);  var v3 = Number(this.getField("CMS").value);  if (v3==0) event.value = "";  else event.value = (v1-v2)/v3;The script is giving me what I want in percentage. But what if I enter $5,000 in field "CMS" but left a $0.00 or blank in the field "NMS" yes it will give me a -100% in percent box but that's not what I want. I want the percentage to stay as "0.00" because if I do it the other way around such as $5,000 in the field of "NMS" but left a a $0.00 or blank in the field I get a "0.00" in percentage box. I need help from anyone.

I want to extract pages from pdf and display the images  in an HTML container on a web site for  clients to see their photo books before purchasing. read through some discussions and found the script below  that extracts the  pages from a pdf.  I can use jquery flipbook to flip the pages.  So the part I am not clear on is the Acrobat part extracting the pdf pages.What I want to know is what version of Acrobat do I need in order to do this simple step? I need to automate the whole process. I previously developed custom javascript for adobe XI that custom stamps and saves the file.  Now our company is moving to DC reader but want the same functionality.  Is this possible in Reader?

We have seen a new issue with Acrobat Pro DC 2017.012.20095 and multiple plug-ins. We are aware that it affects plug-ins from multiple vendors.The plug-ins add tools which appear in the tool pane, can be added to the right hand pane, and appear as options in Quick Tools. So long as Tabbed mode is selected, this works as in previous updates to DC.However, starting with this update, if tabs are switched off in Preferences, the plug-in tools do not appear in the tools pane, right hand pane, quick tools selection, or quick tool bar. They return if tabs are switched back on. The plug-in remains installed and active, with menu items that it added still working normally whether or not tabs are activated.Does anyone have any info on this?

I have set up some basic formulas in my PDF.  Example....I have a Swing field and a Cycles field.  In the Cycles field under calculate I have a Simplified field notation:  (60*60)/Swing  The formula works fine but I have to have a number in Swing or it gives me a The value entered does not match the format of the field [Cycles]  - the format in Cycles is set up as a Number.  What do I need to change to be able to have a blank in Swing?

This seems like a simple one, but I've had some difficulty finding examples. I have Adobe Acrobat DC installed, and the Acrobat Addin for Excel. I'd like to convert say 3 of 5 worksheets in my Excel workbook into a PDF using VBA (and replace me having to do this manually). Hopefully this is easy to do.

We have encountered an issue where the size of the PDF files that we generate almost doubled in size when we upgraded the Operating System that we generate these files on from Windows XP to Windows 2012.  Has anybody else encountered this issue?  If so, how did you resolve it?

I am working on a script that is trying to read files (in .txt format) and manipulate them. I am trying to prompt the user to find and select an existing file on their computer. How can I write the code in such a way that triggers a pop up file explorer window (compatible with Adobe Acrobat DC)? I want the user to be able to find any document instead of dictating the file name or file location within the script. Once this is achieved, I would set the file name to a string variable called fileName. I am unsure where to begin with this process, so any help would be greatly appreciated. If there is an easier or more efficient method of achieving this goal please feel free to share. Thank you.

I need to create a fillable form that contains a simple drop down list in a pdf document that obtains its values from a web service that returns a small xml document and populates this drop down accordingly. I have the following questions on this topic:It seems I can add interactivity with Javascript so is it safe to assume I can use Javascript to consume a web service for this purpose? I read something about being able to access web services using something called Lifecycle Designer (seems to be really old posts about LCD), is this really necessary if I can use straight forward Javascript?If this is possible with Javascript, will all users who access this document be able to use it with Acrobat Reader without any issue be it security or other or do all users require the full version of Adobe for such an action?

Hi everyone.Im very new to javascript but learning. Im making i time sheet for my employer and have a calender widget on the first day of the week so whoever needs to use it can click on that datefield and choose a date. I wrote a script (With some inspiration from around here) to fill out the rest of the dates of the week. So if someone chooses monday 08/14-2017, the rest of the dates gets filled out by the script.I was asked if i could make it stop autofilling if a certain date is hit (We need to make them start a new timesheet at 2 dates each months , even if its midweek.) and im not sure where to go from here.This is the script i put in the costum calculation scripts for the other days.
