I have a fillable form that I've made for our sales team to use on sales calls. There are about 20 different fields per row in which they must either fill in data or choose an option from a dropdown menu. I've added a check box beside all of the rows except the first row that the user can check if they simply want to repeat the entire row of entries above. If they uncheck the box, the copied data is cleared from that row.The script that I've added to the box works for the form fields, but not the dropdowns. Can anyone help me figure out the script that I need to add/revise in order for the check box to work for the entire row above, including the dropdowns? I am trying to make a tax form into a fill in that will calculate. The problem I'm running into is that I have to make a custom calculation script and I've never done that before. Most of the forms i have to make are very simple. line 1E (this is the line i'm putting the script in) shows (1A-1B+1C+1D)Sometimes line 1C can be a loss (negative number) but when calculating the taxable income you cant use a loss, only zero or positive numbers.So i believe i'd need an if/else statement something likeif 1C is < 0 then 1A-1B+0+1Delse 1A-1B+1C+1DI just have no idea how to put it in as the custom calculation script.I've read thru the forum but cant find anything dealing with this.Thank you!

I need to be able to copy an entire line of form fields and dropdowns if a user clicks a "copy line above" checkbox. I've figured out how to copy form fields, but the script I'm using won't work for the dropdown lists. Is it because I'm trying to copy the dropdown selection into another dropdown menu and not a text field?Thank you for any help

Using Acrobat Pro XI on a PC.Have form with 2 combo boxes.  Box 2 (descriptionSelect) is dependent on Box 1 (locationSelect).  Box 2 list contains both items and values, populated from array.  The values from box 2 are used to determine format of data entered into another field.All of this works great, except for one small problem.  When the form is submitted (to a network folder), the descriptionSelect item value does not transfer with the other form data.  Instead of the selected item description, it appears to reset to it's default value of "-".What could be causing the selected item from the descriptionSelect combo box to be reset to "-" upon submitting the form?Box 1 item list is already populated.  Item values only, no export values.  Custom Keystroke Script: "SetDescriptions();"Box 2 - item list dynamically populated from array. Hello Team,            As on today we are running the .Net application on 32 bit, but now we want to run our application on 64 bit machines. We are using the AxAcroPDF Viewer to view the pdf files in our application it is working perfect in if we run the application in 32 bit, where as if we build the application on 64 bit  platform the AxAcroPDF Viewer is not showing the files.  Please let us know if we have any solution to this problem.Thanks,Chakradhar

I use the ClearScan option to OCR my pdfs.  All are high quality scans and OCR is very accurate with one exception: Ligatures. Characters like ff, fi, fl etc. are not encoded properly, i.e., they show up blank.  While they look fine on screen it makes it impossible to rely on the OCR for searching the PDFs. To my bafflement Acrobat recognizes ligatures accurately when I don't do ClearScan but keep it as Image. I've tested multiple documents with both options, it's always the same.  Simple words like "different" are fine with the Image option but show up "di erent" with ClearScan from the same source. Clearly the mapping of the ligature to the respective two code points doesn't work as it should.How can I fix this?And, especially:  How can I fix this after the fact, given that I already have a large number of PDFs ClearScanned.Any help greatly appreciated!Thanks!

Hellosince Acrobat DC update, the Save As PDF Location window is... totaly blank !If I uninstall Acrobat DC, then at the very first start I have a list of folders, but after a while it stays definitely blank, and no options are provided else to close the window !the only way I have is to : Save As differently / Reduced Size / First save it, and stop before a reduced size one to get my document saved ! Crazy !Closing and reopening the software doesn't help.Why can't we have a regular Windows 10 "Save As" window instead of yours. We don't care about the previous locations, we can find them ourselves!Acrobat DC is definitely not a good update.Thanks for your answer/help

I have a form where people type a percentage. I would like to make that populate as a decimal in another text field.I have the current java used to populate several fields with this information:var n1 = this.getfield("TextField1");var n2 = this.getField("TextField2");n2.value = n1.value;  -is there a way to get Text Field 1 that is entered in as 50% to populate in Text Field 2 as .5 ?

I have the following formula in a form "this.getField("Thickness")/Math.cos(this.getField("TransducerAngle")).  I am trying to calculate T/cosine(X degrees) where T is the Thickness and X is the Angle.  this is my best effort at it but it is not working.

I have been using Acrobat X pro for several years to create PDF forms and save them with extended features so that the forms can be filled out with Reader.Recently some of the forms created have an error of, This Document Enabled Extended Features in Adobe Reader. The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available, Please contact the author for the original version of this document.I have searched the Adobe forum, and found problems like this but the solutions given are not fixing my problem,I have let Acrobat check for updates, and I have run the repair installation tool.Below is a screen shot of how I am saving the document, and the error Reader hasI am grateful for help to fix this issue.

Users reporting this error;"This document enabled extended features in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.  The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available.  Please contact the author of the original version of this document."...when trying to sign a document... Note that it is not happening to everyone.The "original" document is stored in Laserfiche depository and cannot be modified. So the users are saving a copy to their computer to fill & sign, before sending to supervisor for next signature.  Would this error happen if the user has a local copy pre-filled out and saved to their computer that they are using as a personal template?

Just installed a new copy of Acrobat XI and got a serial number has been revoked.  Going through the "contact customer support" link is absolutely no help at all.  Gets into an endless loop.  Does customer support even exist???  Is there no way to contact a human??  Help anyone?  I'm IT and don't have time for these kinds of delays.

I am using  util.readFileIntoStream and util.stringFromStream for Reading a text file and filling a combo box.If the file have some "special" chars like "ã", "ó" and  "é" they disappear in the process and  not showed in combo.Any ideas ?

I am trying to prepare accessible documents from InDesign (and MS Word) and I have discovered that Acrobat Reader XI and Acrobat Professional X can not read documents that contain true typographic characters such as proper quotation marks, apostrophes, ellipses, and dashes. If I replace the quotation marks with primes (the quotation marks that don't curl), the ellipses with three periods, and the dashes with hyphens, everything reads fine. I do not wish to compromise the quality of the typography in my documents. Does anybody know if Adobe plans to fix this?

I have created several custom stamps and tried to use the create customs stamps selection in Adobe DC but none of the JavaScript Fields work? I even tried to re-add the dynamic file as a new custom stamp and the JavaScript on those does not work either when I add them? Am I missing something here, I cna not find any support on here for Adobe DC Pro stamps

This problem is new with Acrobat DC and a wxWidgets plugin. I switch on the checkbox to 'Minimize windows into application icon' in the Dock Preferences... settings. I iconize the window. With iconize(true) the window shortly appears before it is hidden. Asking the window, if it IsShownOnScreen() returns true but the window is not visible. If I switch off the checkbox in the Dock Prefs iconize works fine. A workaround is show(false) and show(true). But then the window will be rendered always two times. Is there a call to get the state of the checkbox in the Dock Prefs?

Script reading a text file works fine in Acrobat Pro, but not in Reader.Is it a configuration issue ? Thanks.

Hi, i will regularly be combining PDF documents. Each month I receive 2 documents: one in English, and another in Portuguese. Apart from the languages, the documents are arranged so that they are identical. A simple merge is not sufficient as the purpose of the merge is to facilitate language learning, so I need, for example, page one of the Portuguese document to become page 2 of the merged document. The idea being that each page of English text is followed by its Portuguese counterpart.i once found code whereby this was done programmatically, but for the life of me a can't find it again. After a PC hard drive reset, I no longer have the codecan you help please?

The field is supposed to get data from another field (which is a summary field) and state if its 65 or above and then print if it is or not. Hello,I have a question.I Build a PDF form for a client. They need to insert many images into a PDF. I do this wit the event.target.buttonImportIcon(); function in a button. This works really great.When the file browser opens when selecting a image, the browser (In windows or mac) shows at first only PDF files. Every time i select an image i need to change the file extension in the file browser from PDF to JPG to select an image. My client must making this step 50 times in a PDF, 450 times in a year. lMy question shortly:Is there an option to show automatically the JPG files in the filebrowser when uploading a PDF?.
