When I try to combine a PDF with a word (2003-2007) file, the page that used to be the word file appears to have a shading around it which I cant get rid of. I just want all pages of the document to appear the same. It is a four page document - the three from the original pdf look fine but the one converted from word has a shading round it like the page is hovering over some imaginary table with a shadow around the edge of it. Does anyone know how i can get rid of this effect?
Hello, was wondering if one of the Adobe products provides the means to automatically generate customized PDF files on the fly for our online customers, populated with fields drawn from our online database. This would occur in a JavaScript / PHP hosted server environment. If not, any ideas for how best (easiest!) to accomplish something like that? Thank
This is a continuation of my problem in loading Acrobat 11 onto my machine with Windows XP Professional x64 Edition Version 2003 Service Pack 2.I have added the requested additiional upgrade, but now can only get to this error message.Error 1305 . Error Reading From File /Adobe Acrobat XI / Data/A1.Cab. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.I searcched the disc and could not find a file by that name on the CD, but I am assuming the search is inconclusive and that it is on the CD.I removed AntiVir , as it is very aggressive. I still have Malware, which always stays unopened until requested, and Spybot, which does the same. The machine is not onine. I use it for my writing and photo work offline.Help would be appreciated in finally getting this product, which I recently purchased NIB.
I have created a simple scorecard in Acrobat Pro where the user enters answer values from 1 - 10 for a number of categorized questions, and the scorecard then tallies the totals per category. The scores per category are given a ranking: v>=0 && v<=19 is POORv>19 && v<=30 is AVERAGEv>30 && v<=41 is EXCELLENTI'm a complete novice at javascript for PDF forms and have thus far been able to find all the answers I needed on this forum - mostly I just needed to sort out simple calculations and change the colour of the "total" field based on the range of values above, to indicate that category's ranking. So that's all working out at this time. Now, however, a new challenge has come up wherein I need the form to dynamically count the number of times throughout the scorecard that a user's answer was within the POOR classification, the number of times their answer was within the AVERAGE classification, and the number of times their answer was within

Dear all,I created a Microsoft Word document with links to files and folders (which are stored in a network drive, S:\). This document is published as PDF within our Intranet. We use Internet Explorer (11) für browsing, and files are opened with the Acrobat PlugIn within Internet Explorer. If the folder or file contains an Umlaut (ä, ö, ü, which is quite common in Germany, where I live), all links to files or Folders with an Umlaut are not working: only an error message appears. When I open he identical file directly with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (2015 version, Classic, 2015.006.30094), all links are working. All links are also working when inserted in the URL bar in IE. I assume there is a bug with the ActiveX control (version number 15.6.30060.147031).Can you confirm this behaviour? Or do you have Workarounds?I know we could change the behaviour of opening PDF files directly in Acrobat - but this is not an option as we also use LC-Designer for creting PDF forms and we need the preview with
When I attempt to change the fill options for the rectangle tool (or any shape tool) under the Markups and Commenting Tools section, it will allow me to select a new background color, but when I close the color picker, the background choice is still none (red diagonal line through the "Fill" box in preferences. Very annoying. I can change the line weight and color, but not the fill. Anyone know how to fix this? Latest updates installed, Mac OS 10.11.6.
Hi.I ran a very strange issue when importing attached image file as a signature in Acrobat Pro and Acrobat Reader, versions DC and XI.Go to "Fill & Sign" and try to import this image as a signature: Acrobat will decline arguing that this image is more than 10 Mb… Which is obviously not the case.We were several guys to test this file on many config. and in several versions of Acrobat Pro/Reader: answer is always the same.Changing this image format (JPEG, TIFF…) and changing its size don't change anything: Acrobat still decline it.(This is not my signature, it's the signature of one of my clients' CEO.)So we guess that there is a kind of shape recognition, or something like that, that prevent this image/signature to be imported ,but how can we be sure? Please, experts and not experts, would you try to import this image as a signature in your Acrobat and let me know the result?Thank you.
I have been referred on to the forum by Adobe support, who could not resolve this issue. I've found lots of similar reports, but nothing that works in this particular situation. Hopefully the experts out there have some ideas!I installed Acrobat X Pro as part of CS6 Design and Web Premium. All other products activated and worked correctly, but Acrobat will not activate. Whenever I try and run Acrobat I am prompted to either start a trial, or license the product. Regardless of what option I selected (and I've tried them all!) the dialog window goes away, only to return a few seconds later.I have tried:1. Uninstall all Adobe software, and reinstall from CS6 installer--> Other CS6 products work, Acrobat doesn't2. Deactivate and then reactivate CS6--> Other CS6 products work, Acrobat doesn't3. Help page (Doesn't launch after 30 days | Installed as part of a CS6 suite )--> The acrofix.exe file exists with Error Code 5. I have no idea what this means, and support couldn't help
I just installed Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 but I can't open it and it never asked for the serial number, so I presume that's the problem - How do I resolve that?
Adobe Acrobat XI Pro continues to give errors (recently in the past week) when trying to print and printing is unsuccessful from quick print in Outlook.Error pops up and regardless of the menu selection it does not print."This operation is not permitted as this document is not trusted. Do you want to trust this document?C:\Users\userName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.Outlook\JQF326eY\filename.pdfHELP YES NO"Temporary file is generated in the above referenced location and printing does not occur. Error comes from Adobe Acrobat popup window.Previously, printing was able to be done quickly to the default printer. Now, regardless of resetting the settings, selecting "Yes", or doing any other configuration changes in Adobe, it does not work.Repairing Adobe Acrobat brings the following error:Program is not compatible.Using Windows 7...
My Acrobat 9 Pro has been unable to update in Windows 7. Does Adobe still support 9 Pro ?
Adobe is one f the most used programs at work For some reason lately every time that I try to print a fillable form or a form that was already saved it will come out wrong with weird letters and long black lines across instead of the info that was wrote on the boxes of the form Can somebody has that experience When I called the IT guy he says it must be the program If I use another computer like a laptop that has the simple adobe reader it will come out fine What the problem can be Thanks
Is it possible to convert an Adobe slideshow presentation into a standard video format so that it can be run as a DVD on a standard DVD player? If so I should be very grateful for advice on how this is done.
Hi ....I have a very large (696,000 KB) file of a book which appears to be a scanned PDF. I want it to be searchable, and currently it is not. When I try clicking on edit, the tools shown on the "how to" video do not appear. So I tried converting the whole thing into a Word document but got back the message that it exceeded the 100MB file size.I can't, however, get the text inside the scanned PDF to select in order to create a small file that would allow me to convert it in chunks.Any ideas or solutions?Much thanks
I have a pdf from my online college that is protected. Printing is labeled as being permitted, yet after I unlock the document, as soon as I try to print, it re-locks the pdf and will only pages that say it is a locked document. I have tried disabling enhanced protection and restarting the program as well as the computer. Can anyone help me?
I have downloaded Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I am trying to convert multiple pdf files into individual excel files in one shot. Is there any easy method to do that? I did read up on creating a rule under save but only lets you convert one file at a time. I want to convert multiple PDF files to individual excel files in one try? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Using Adobe Acrobat IX Pro, how do I display advanced property settings, specifically pixel dimensions?
Hi all, I work in Finance and I am tired of people printing, using a old school rubber stamp, scanning, and emailing. I created a dynamic stamp. However, some people want it so easy that complain about having to go to "tools" and "add text" to write on the stamp. Is there a way that when we stamp, there would be fillable fields without having to go searching for the "add text"?Thanks!
Hi all,I have been at this for days now, trying multiple methods to fix the issue via the forums and nothing is happening for me.I'm using Acrobat 10.1.16, with the latest update from the Adobe FTP installed (was suggested through another forum post). This issue has been happening to me on both El Capitan, and now also a FRESH INSTALL of Sierra.I can't save a file without the above message appearing. I have to Save As, and save it into a different folder/on desktop. I can then drag it to the original folder and overwrite the file without issue.I am on the only one in the office with this issue - my colleague is still running El Capitan, and he isn't having the problem. My other colleague is running Yosemite still, and he doesn't have an issue. The files are stored on a windows server. But this doesn't seem to make a difference. If I move the files to my desktop, then try to edit and save the file, the same issue occurs. It's killing my production time at work, and I feel like I've exhauste
We have been using Adobe DC now since it first came out without issue. All of a sudden we are unable to use the draw, comment, call out etc in multiple PDFs at one time. This is something we REALLY need to be able to do. We are also unable to move pages around in the document or between documents anymore. I don't get why this was not a problem until two weeks ago. I know that you are able to use these features in whatever the last document is that you open, but that is extremely inconvenient and I find myself having to open and close documents over and over to create my finished product. If anyone knows of a solution to this issue so we can go back to how it was, I greatly appreciate it. This started happening to all of our computers in the office at the same time so I am assuming it was from an update, but unsure. If we cannot get this fixed its going to make for a really annoying tax season! Thanks!
I recently installed the Adobe Pro DC on my computer. My company will be replacing my computer soon. How can I transfer the software onto my new computer without having to purchase a new license?
Now that I have created my form, I want to post it on a web page so that the general public can download a copy and fill it out. I have set it up with a "submit" button geared to the target email address. Any tricks or concerns I should be aware of?
I have installed Adobe Acrobat Pro XI on my new computer (wanting to move the product from my old computer to my new one). After installation, when I open Acrobat Pro XI I get this message, "Serial Number is valid, but a qualifying product could not be found." I am sure I am using the correct serial number but why is the new install not recognizing Pro XI?
We have several copies of DC pro, and LiveCycle, are we free to post as many fillable PDF forms as we want on our company website? It seems like you should be able to do this, but co-workers tell me Adobe keeps calling us to remove them?I relate it like Microsoft calling to say you can only use 10 Excel documents???Is there some license requirement that I am missing here?
