Acrobat SDK

My adobe will close down while in the middle of a book for no apparent reason.  Please help

If i buy the subscription for Pro DC, I understand I can use it on two computers, but only one at a time. If i have one computer with PDFs open in Pro DC...can I open PDFs at all with the other computer?  perhaps with the free Adobe Acrobat? or will i not be able to open PDFs at all until the other computer gets out of Pro DC?(I have two computers at home - one in my office and a laptop i use throughout the house.  I often leave PDFs open on the computer in my office and wondered if i'll still be able to open PDFs on the laptop, if the computer in my office opened the PDFs in Pro DC and Pro DC is also installed on the laptop)

We are using Acrobat IX, X and XI with Lotus Notes 9.01.  Are users are unable to access the Address Book.  They navigate to the screen where they can click the "To..." or "Cc..." buttons but nothing happens after clicking.  This is happening too all our Acrobat users.

The result is an error, "No PDF file was created because Adobe Acrobat DC encountered an unidentified error."Process:1. Launch Acrobat Pro DC.2. Select Tools > Create PDF > Multiple Files > Combine Files.3. At the Combine Files window, click Add Files... > Add Email.4. The Add Email instructions window appears; Click OK.5. Per instructions, I drag a couple of e-mail from my Inbox and drop then in the Combine Files window. (The e-mail icons display correctly in the Combine Files window.)6. Click the Combine Files button.The e-mail icons appear black with small error icons (Orange triangle with black exclamation point) and the error message appears.Anyone have any suggestions?Thanks.Sean

I have been using Adobe LiveCycle Designer to edit forms.  I can then get the field names using LiveCycle, and I can fill in the forms from an asp .net application.For example, a field name might look like this:VA0740a[0].#subform[0].FFField21[3]My question is can I do the same thing with Acrobat XI? That is, can I obtain the names of the Fields using Acrobat XI so that I can access them from inside my .net applications?Thanks,Dave

I purchased the package+disc for Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional and installed it in PC 1. However, I would like to transfer the Adobe in PC 2. Is it right to say that I would have to uninstall the Adobe in PC 1 first, before using the disc to install the Adobe in PC 2?

Hi,I'm working with someone on a document. However, when he sends me his PDF, some of his comments aren't viewable. In particular, there are areas where he replaced text with something else, but on my end it only shows as the text being crossed out (it doesn't give what was typed to replace it). Does anyone know what would cause this? We're both running Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 15.020.20039. I did do a search for possible solutions, and I heard that it could be caused by the file being flattened. However, no one flattened it.Update: I don't know if this is relevant, but the person who sent me the PDF is using a PC and I'm on a Mac. I tried deleting and redownloading the file, and now I can see the comments. I still don't know why it wouldn't show in the first place, though. Any ideas?

No matter how I tweak the settings, when I try to compare PDFs  that I created in InDesign, I keep getting this error message:  "Acrobat could not compare the documents completely.Do you want to see the report anyway?"  If I go ahead anyway, the comparison basically doesn't work. I see only a few of hundreds of changes.Thanks in advance for any insights!

Acrobat XI all of a sudden just will no longer accept my fi-6130 for presets.   Very inconvenient to enter custom all the time now.  What is going on?

When I am comparing two documents it shows that items within both documents have been changed.  There have been no changes made. Most of the changes are noted on items that have hyphens in them.  - Adobe Acrobat Pro 2015.006.3033- PC Win 7 EnterpriseIntel Core i5 2.00Ghz32 bit OS

i am total new to this and i would like to find out when on a adobe acrobat pro dc>order pdf submit form- im trying to set up the submit button to email i have tried different thing but i also dont understand alot of information. what im trying is ive developed a website with expression web plus and i have added the pdf on it. and i have up loaded the site on the net but when i go to the pdf form and go submit it does not send it to anything i would a explaintion one that is easy to understand on what i can do. the site carpenterswh.co.za

I regularly need to assemble PDFs from 38 or so separate documents. They need to be in a particular order, with bookmarks assigned to each, specific indentations/outlines for the bookmarks, and specific names for each bookmark.Currently I do this by highlighting all of the files in windows explorer, right clicking, and selecting "Combine supported files in Acrobat..." which results in quite a bit of manual editing that is very time consuming.I am wondering if Acrobat has a more efficient way of accomplishing this. For example, is there a way for me to import/insert a file to a bookmark that is already in place? Alternatively, is there a template feature that would allow me to specify the ordering/bookmarks ahead of time?Thanks for your time

can no longer find scanner after upgrade to Mac OS Sierra

After todays update of Acrobat Pro DC for Mac I still face the problem that it is impossible to choose the option "Ask for scanning additional pages". So I can´t scan more than one single page in the program. Hope Adobe can do something about it soon.Lars AndræLund, Sweden

I've been using the document compare functionality in Acrobat Pro for years, but I only recently switched from Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro to Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. The documents I compare are admittedly quite complex. However, when I run the document compare feature in Acrobat XI Pro using any combination of document descriptions, almost everything on the page is marked with the color of 'replace color' on both documents, so virtually every line and every word is marked. The issue is that about 95% items that are marked with the 'replace color' are identical between the two documents. As a result, since everything is marked as 'different', it is now almost impossible to find actual differences between the two documents--I may as well print them out and proof read the documents manually. I've tried almost every setting I can think of to solve this problem to no avail. Is there a way to get the Compare Document functionality to work correctly in Adobe Acrobat XI Pro? Is there a work around, or i

The normal compare feature highlights changes, but we need it to redline any differences and write the original above the redline.Something like an automatic legal red line comparison.

Have field (Criteria) and a fillable field (Dim) and a result field.Some of fillable field should be in the range of Criteria +/- 2,5%and other in the range of +6/-2.Please help

Made fillable PDF form w calculations(on MAC) but 4 PC users calculations not working. Cannot figure out why. I have successfully made other forms for same end users, ANYONE have any clues on what is broken?
