I use Adobe Pro XI to measure quantities from PDF drawings. When I enlarge the drawings by pressing ctrl +scroll on the mouse, the entire screen goes up and down, stabilizing after a few moments. Why does this happen

Hello,I am trying to convert individuals PDF files from standard Letter size to A4 size without losing any bookmarks. I have Adobe Acrobat XI Pro and was told this is possible but cannot find how. Am I wrong in assuming this is possible?Thank you for any advice.

So, I exported a for from Microsoft Word to adobe acrobat, and what I wanted to do was "prepare" the form (a.k.a. make the pdf editable with text boxes) using the "prepare form" add on in adobe acrobat DC. Once I do this the default font is always set to Helvetica, but i would like to change this to Arial. itried setting the default font in the preferences menu but no luck. Does anyone know how t accomplish this?

Hi,I'm just trialling Acrobat Pro DC to try converting some old documentation to PDF, and convert it to MS Word format so we can update and edit the old documents.I've scanned the original document in at 1200dpi and run a few enhancements on it to make it more readable, run OCR on it and corrected all the mistakes (of which there were quite a few, the original type-written document is quite poor in places).Now when I attempt to export to Word, Acrobat re-runs the OCR process on the document and I get a horrible mangled mess of a document again. I can turn this off, but I just get a bunch of images in a Word document that I can't edit.How do I get a Word document that includes the corrected OCR text that I have painstakingly spent 2 hours correcting in Acrobat itself?

Why does my Acrobat DC periodically freeze up while I am editing one or more document(s)?

How do I add white space between areas that contain text fields?I’m using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC  2015.I’m trying to edit an existing PDF. I need to add white space between areas that contain text fields to allow those text fields to be expanded and not overlap the existing text and the text fields below.For example:1.Progress/Strategies:2.Progress/Strategies:3.Progress/Strategies:4.Progress/Strategies: The space between each “Progress/Strategies” needs to be increased. A text field is underneath each one. If it was a Word doc, I could just press enter. What is the easiest way to achieve this with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC?

My computer crashed the other day, and it had Adobe CS3 on it (I only use Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat 8). I have now loaded it on to my new computer, but I cannot activate it because it says I have to deactivate it from my old hard drive first .... which I can't do because it is now dead.Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.CheersLaura

I am running IE v11 on my PC. Under Tools > Manage Add-ons, I have PDFs set to open in the browser window, not in Adobe Reader or Acrobat.If I open a link to a PDF form on a website displayed in IE 11, the PDF form displays in the browser window (as it should) but if I try to print it, the browser completely locks up. Has anyone seen this issue? Is there a fix for this? - Michael Fekete

I have a Dynamic XML PDF Form I created in Livecycle ES2...  Opened in Acrobat PRO and saved with Extended Features...  So users can now open the doc in Reader DC with no issues and can input data in all the form fields...  but when the file is saved, then re-opened, some fields are not saving while others are fine...  I can't see any difference in the fields that are saving versus those that aren't...  Any Ideas?

I am creating a fillable form. I want people to be able to fill in box 1. I then want that to copy to box 2, but I want to lock box 2 so that the info can only be edited in one spot. Is there a way to do this?ThanksLisa

I want to install the trial, however, it doesn't give me the option to not remove my prior ver as per instructions below.  I get buttons for 'Continue' or 'Close.'Anyone know of a solution to this?  I am uncomfortable with uninstalling the old until I know how the new works.Installation of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC trial by default uninstalls any earlier version of Adobe Acrobat on Windows devices. If you choose to retain the existing Acrobat XI on your machine, you need to change the default by unchecking the “Remove earlier version” option in Acrobat downloader UI. If you have uninstalled the previous version, then you can reinstall it when you are finished with the trial. Make sure you have your original serial number and installation disks.Thanks!  Gary

Hi, we recently had a system crash with a failed hard drive. have reinstalled most programs successfully on new hard drive but acrobat pro is coming up serial number revoked and directs me to support. however, i am just going round in circles trying to get it resolved. can anyone point me in the right direction of who to contact or email to get me up and running again? thanks!

In attempting to prepare a document for signing using Adobe Online services, Fill & Sign service within Chrome on Android (The default Android browser is incompatible) I am unable to convert .xlsx to .pdf on android tablet and am receiving the following message:"Could not convertThe file type of "*" is not known and therefore could not be converted to pdfThe uploaded file is missing an extension, please ensure that the uploaded file has the correct extension."The files have the .xlsx extension and I am accessing them in One Drive but cannot convert any of them.Any suggestions please?

Ich nutze Adobe Acrobat XI Standard und hätte die Links gerne für multiple Office Anwendungen benutzbar. Hauptsächlich aber für OneNote. I keep getting Acro Tray has stopped working. I just installed on windows 10 so is this a known issue with Windows 10?

Any time I attempt to convert a PDF (created in Illustrator) to HTML via Adobe Acrobat DC, it does this. Obviously, the text is intended to be inside of the graphic flyer. Additionally, the white text box should be semi-transparent. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having a really weird issue with my Acrobat Reader in which the app seems to be running fine, and I can open pdfs (which appear under "Window" at the top of the screen when Adobe is in the forefront).  However, the windows simply are not displaying.  It is as if the windows are there, but invisible.  If I click on the right click the open app and click to "show all windows," I get something akin to the attached image. As you can see, rather than seeing the window, it simply shows the file-name with like a weird white slit.  Additionally, when I go to "view," most of the navigational and zoom options are greyed out.I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and still nothing.  I'm at a total loss as I have not been able to find anything on this issue.
