the document could not be saved the file is too big for the current operation. I have around 500 pages scanned book on JPEG format of a 1.5GB total size. After converting and combining it to a single pdf file, I get this message when I try to save it. What should I do

When I open a large document in Acrobat Pro (approx. 400 pages)  and I try to search by words, most of the time the top bar greys out. Also, when scrolling through the document, most of the time the program freezes on me and I have to shut it down and re-open it.Is there any solutions for these issues?Thanks in advance

Hello, my name is Zac.  I spent a lot of time trying to figure this one out for myself, but I couldn't find what I needed.  A few threads looked promising but I realized they only applied to LiveCycle.  A lot of other threads link back to Thom Parker's 2006 discussion about this, but he's very advanced and I have a feeling that what I need isn't as complex as the solution he provides.  I never used Adobe Acrobat until a few weeks ago, but with help from Bernd Alheit and George Johnson I've managed to create a document with fly-out help windows and scrolling lists and radio buttons that dictate choices.  It's looking great and it works.  The last thing I have to do is create a text-box (or some kind of box) that will display a pre-written block of text based on the user's choice in another box (a combo box).  Like this:  I wish it was as easy to create as it to draw a picture of it!  If the user selects "Algebra 1", for example, a specific de

I have moved and lost my key.  How can I reinstall my product? 

I've tried downloading to 2 different drives and in each mode ["skip files" "overwrite files"  etc] and nothing works. I also have the original installation DVD from 2011 but that won't accept the original serial number so the Adobe chat person said to download the installer. I've got desktop running Windows 7 Home Editiion

During the download of Acrobat Pro DC within Adobe's Installer, I receive the following error code and message: Error 1714.  The older version of Adobe Acrobat DC cannot be removed.  Contract your technical support group.  Right before giving this message, the download progress bar jumps from 30-40% to 75%.  The only adobe product I currently have installed is 9.5 Pro. I cannot seem to find a related problem and solution elsewhere.  I am running a Windows 10 laptop.

I don't see where I can download once I login. It is saying I need to purchase again. Help

All of a sudden today I am experiencing pdf files that will not print.  I can see them on the screen, but they do not print.I re-installed the printer files and then reinstall Adobe reader, still does not work.  Tried saving a file from my bank, saw the pdf file, but the data in the file does not print, only lines.Tried another document of several pages, just empty pages coming through the printer.  Just can not understand what is happening.tim

I would like to know how to preview a photo I am getting ready to print. 

I'm using the latest version of Acrobat Pro DC on a MacBook Pro running El Capitan v10.11.5, trying to print to an HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 A909n, and no matter what I do, no pdf will print.  I keep getting a message that the file looking for the printer, and it remains hung.The printer *is* online, the driver is current, and it prints just fine from everywhere else I've tried, just not from Acrobat.The files came from DropBox, and even after saving them directly to my hard drive, the problem persists.I've tried everything I can think of and can find online for troubleshooting, including checking the syntax in Preflight, and everything checks out fine.Please help; I'm desperate!Wendy

My "Print in grayscale" option is always grayed out.  How do I get it back?  Using Windows 7.

I have developed a plugin of Adobe Acrobat DC, but when I put it on Adobe Acrobat Reader DC the reader show me a error:"Invalid plugin detected. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC will quit."And the software quit.I want to know the cause of the error.I used the Acrobat DC SDK developed the plugins and the develop center instructions "Develop software that integrates with Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader.". I subscribed for Adobe Acrobat XI for a year and half. After XI was upgraded to  DC, I found it very difficult to use the software. My subscription fee too increased, while my usage was limited few documents per month. So I cancelled my membership of both DC and CC. However I was given a free membership to CC. So whenever I tried to open a PDF document, the CC page would pop-up and the streaming would go on, always disturbing my work. Hence I got fed up and deleted adobe software. Now I feel the need for XI, I need only Acrobat XI, not even CC. Please help me in this regard.

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on a Mac and was trying to print on 11 x 17 and Letter size. On "Preview" for Mac I am able perfectly to save different setups depending on the size of paper and color or Black and white. I am using a Ricoh Aficio MP C2050 printer. I can't do it on Acrobat. When I try to set up the size of paper, it prompts me a text saying "The Page Setup dialog box is provided by the operating system. To ensure that you can use the full print capabilities of Acrobat Pro, please set all print options from the Application print dialog box. Do you want to continue?" I am choosing the size of paper, and it is not printing on that paper that I selected, and also I don't see a way of saving as presets once it works. Need help! "Preview" for Mac seems to be working better than Acrobat.

I have only occasionally used acrobat scripting, i pick it up and then drop it so it is forgotten in no time. I need to export as pdf as a jpg with a variable code entered via a dialog etc(eg. Test) and the page number (ideally in format with lots of leading zeros ie 00001) with the bookmark for that page eg."BookmarkName1" appended to the end so the end result would be Test000001 BookmarkName1.jpgTest000002 BookmarkName2.jpgetc etc Could some bright spark show me the code to do this? Hello. I want lock and hide some toolbars for example the "find" Toolbar with JavaScript. I know, how i can hide Toolbar Buttons (app.HideToolbarButton("Print") but not the whole Toolbar. Also i want to deactivate the right click in the Toolbar, the Setting should use by javascript file.

I have a multi-page doc. Presently, whenever I open it, it opens to page one. What I'd like to do now is, after the first time I open the doc, have the doc open to page two instead of page one from then on. I use to have the code from the AcrobatUsers forum but cannot find it any longer, and I guess I didn't bookmark the page. So, can someone help me out by providing the necessary script? I'm not referring to the settings in the Properties/Initial View. Thanks guys.

How do I add a Jpg to an editable PDF in Acrobat Pro version 10.1.16 that I have created?

I am using MS Word mail merge to create PDF attachments and email out.  I need the PDFs to be secure and to not allow recipients to make changes or to copy and paste content from the PDF attachment.  I have set security setting to "Changes Allowed: None" but this doesn't work as the attached PDFs still allow copy and paste from the PDF attachments.  What steps do I need to follow?
